Señor McCain Takes The Liberty Of Recanting Sarah Palin’s In-Solidarity-With-Obama Plan To Cross Pakistani Border If Necessary To Get Usama Bin Ladin And al-Qaeda “Terr’ists”, Helping Further Down The “Seenkeeng Sheep” Called “Team McCain”
Wow, what a tough “boss” this Panama Juan Sidney character is. His running mate goes on the record to state the following…
SARAH BARRACUDA ON PAKISTAN TERROR STRATEGY
“… Saturday night, while on a stop for cheesesteaks in South Philadelphia, Palin was questioned by a Temple graduate student about whether the U.S. should cross the border from Afghanistan into Pakistan.
“If that’s what we have to do stop the terrorists from coming any further in, absolutely, we should,” Palin said. …” – Source: CNN’s Political Ticker’s Emily Sherman
BARACK OBAMA ON SAME TOPIC (From The Obama-McCain Debate)
“Nobody talked about attacking Pakistan,” Obama said after McCain accused the Illinois senator of wanting to announce an invasion. “If the United States has al Qaeda, bin Laden, top-level lieutenants in our sights, and Pakistan is unable or unwilling to act, then we should take them out.“
SEŃOR McCAIN PAŔA ÈL PRESIDENTÉ’S RESPONSE TO GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS (same article)
… “In all due respect, people going around and… sticking a microphone while conversations are being held, and then all of a sudden that’s—that’s a person’s position… This is a free country, but I don’t think most Americans think that that’s a definitve policy statement made by Governor Palin.”
(Snip!)
McCain emphasized Sunday, Palin “shares” his view on the matter.”
Hmmph. Well, I’m not so sure Panama Juan’s running mate from Alaska was taken out of context, are you? It sounds more as if Sarah Barracuda had the “nerve” to demonstrate free thought and Señor McMaverick didn’t appreciate it very much. This, despite such a statement coming from Sarah indeed does lend credence to claims that Mrs. Palin actually is the “co-maverick” our “Dee-Steenguished” Gentleman From Panama Arizona has claimed she has been all along, doesn’t it? Then again, I suppose it would be tough to get two “Republican Mavericks” to agree on much of anything when they believe the mics, cameras and witnesses aren’t around them to see how much they differ with each other behind those closed doors.
As they say in your homeland, Señor McCain — “la dama ha hablado” (for my fellow Americans, that’s Panamanian for “the lady has spoken“). Just because you say it isn’t so doesn’t mean it is so. After all, most of us DO have computers; DO read the “Internets” and “Blogospheres”, DO know how to turn on our computers and read the truth.
Try again, Juan Sidney. It is for reasons such as these you are moving way behind Barry Obama in the polls now (Source: Gallup Daily — Obama, 50%, McCain 42%) and shall continue to do so until you decide to actually take a RIDE on that (so-called) “Straight Talk Express” for once.
***
The GTL’s personal “fave” blogger roundup: Don Surber (Right) points out the fact that Barry has had huge leads before only to see them completely vanish — also has the running “points” tally showing “Barry O” holding a “Two Surber Point” lead over Juan Sidney currently; Justin Gardner of Donklephant reminds us these are J. Sid’s “lowest numbers since Gallup started polling”

GTL you wrote, “Then again, I suppose it would be tough to get two “Republican Mavericks” to agree on much of anything..” sorta like there can’t be two Kings running the same palace or heads will roll..eventually. ;>

GTL, heh heh.
Hey, I stumbled onto Michael Moore’s blog and he posted that his DC insiders told him Congress was being blackmailed (my word, not Moore’s) by Wall Street. Apparently if Congress doesn’t pass Wall Street’s version of the Bailout Boon Bill, Wall Street is going to start blowing up pension funds and 401(k)’s of the middle class! Congress is wetting their pants believing Wall Street will make good on their threat so Congress is trying to get the bill passed. Soooooo, whaddawegonnado, GTL?

commontater,
I totally believe Congress is being bullied into this. I still don’t see why they just don’t let it hit the fan and let the chips fall where they may. Little guys will get hurt, but little guys always get hurt — at least this way, some big rich guys (responsible for the mess in the first place) will get hurt, too.

Heh… what Taylor just said

Yeah, the big rich guys will lose Millions . . . and they’ll have millions left when its over. The little guys will lose thousands, and have nothing left when its over. You may want to re-think that one.

Do you even actually watch or read the videos and articles that you post, Jerry… ??? I mean, I know you’re just trying to stick up for the Hate party, but come on now, Video from CSPAN vs an article in People, hmmmm, which would you trust more? I guess if you’re Jerry Springer you would choose People
Obama was closer to this whole thing than the MSM will ever report; from his days as a lawyer suing banks who tried to avoid making sub-prime loans to bad credit risks, to his time working with A.C.O.R.N., to his relationship with Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson, both of whom have much to answer for in terms of their corrupt practices at Fannie Mae.

Bear in mind, this is the group that would have received $40 Billion under the Democrats’ bailout plan that the republicans refused to pass.
When Obama talks about (or more correctly, refuses to talk about) his community organizing days – this is the group he was associated with. No wonder he hangs out with the likes of Rev. Wright, Father Pfleger, and William Ayers. This guy is nothing but smooth talking sleaze from the belly of the Chicago underground and its political machine.
So I really don’t give a rat’s a$$ if Neil Bush was ACCUSED of a misdeed 20 years ago, I’m talking about what the DEMOCRAT Presidential Candidate has been doing for all of his professional career.
Yeah, that’s your Barack Obama for you.

Fandb
Okay, you talked about Obama.
Now let’s talk about John McCain — not even about this alleged scandal or that alleged misdeed, or even that wholly ‘unsubstantiated’ bailing on his aging and crippled wife in favor of a younger richer one. We won’t talk about any of that. After all, those things would just make him a creepy scummy kinda guy — but all of Capitol Hill (and several POWs) know that already, so no news flash there.
Senator McCain likes to claim Country First, but his choice of Caribou Barbie to step in when his heart beats its last 5 beats shows us all that he couldn’t care less about the country. That issue alone makes me and anyone with a brain vote OBAMA.
Of course, I’ll understand if you disagree.
2:57 pm on September 30th, 2008 20
Fandb, keep swingin at this acorn deal….maybe I’ll stop yawning at some point as the meltdown continues. At some point, I’m sure this bailout/rescue will save the white collar criminals once again as we normally do. That does include a truckload of lobbyists on both sides but predominately in McCain’s camp….including the Bush’s AGAIN!
Maybe if you research your history bettter you would care what happened 20 year’s ago becuase it’s the same thing happening today with the a lot of the same politicians and crooks involved.
