John McCain’s “Different Kind Of A Campaign” Shaping Up To Be “Same Old, Same Old” — DNC Ad Fights Back Hard
The Politoco’s Carrie Budoff Brown is reporting the McCain campaign has gone on the attack yet again; this time with an ad comparing Barack Obama’s fame to that of the drug and alcohol abusing, swinging, stuck up, irresponsible, and yes — even easy on the eyes — Paris Hilton and Britney Spears after PROMISING America he would wage a “different kind of a campaign”… “respectful”… etc., etc., etc. Frankly, I believed this would be true — fell for it hook, line and sinker — I really did believe deep down inside we would be watching a race between two GENTLEMEN of honor and integrity. Wow — what in the hell was I thinking?
The YouTube video (below), which has served to offend the Hilton family and many other Americans up to this point — the difference being, some of the Hiltons have been huge campaign donors to the Señor McCain for Prez movement (Source: Martin Eisenstadt’s Blog). OOPS:
Gonna’ take that one lying down, Democrats? NOPE. Courtesy of The Wall Street Journal’s Marketwatch (?), the Democratic National Committee (“The DNC” for our acronym fans) has fought right back with a hard-hitting YouTube Ad of their own:
WOW. If this is “civil” and “honorable” behavior on behalf of Panama John McCain, I’d hate to see how the guy gets when he’s agitated. Oh, never mind — that’s been well-documented come to think of it.
But, you know what? As many readers know, I have an “inside track” myself to the McCain campaign via a very close friend of mine and I can just imagine his glee as he sees ole’ Panama John getting down and dirty, waging a typical, FILTHY campaign (and yes, he reads this blog — love ya, “P-man”!), reason being, he and his other wealthy buddies can now save their hard-earned cash-ola they were going to be using to “Swift Boat” ole’ “Barry” out of the water via hard-core and semi-truthful 527’s. From the “inside”, I can assure you Señor McCain’s closest, most trusted advisers have been PLEADING with him for months to “go dirty” on Obama. “Nope, nope, I’m not that kind of a guy”, he insisted. Well, there ya’ go — he’s that kinda’ guy after all.
Yep, yep — I cannot WAIT to give my ole’ buddy a (private) call to congratulate him for all of the many millions he and his other wealthy G.O.P. buddies are going to be saving now that Panama John has evolved into the sort of guy who is now more than willing to proudly announce: “I’m John McCain and I approve this message 527 ad.” I wonder how they’re going to be spending all of those 527 bucks now? Well, probably on 527 ads, I’d guess. Can’t have TOO dirty of a campaign, after all, can we? At least, not if your name is Señor Juan McCain.

Hi!
I am charles and for me. Barack Obama should win to totally remove the racism issue in the U.S. and i am not from the U.S. but someone U.S. citizen still believe they are the dominant race and they are better than other race.
On the other hand, barack obama’s plans are great and would definitely help U.S.’s economy bring back its wealth. War had digg the resources of the united states and Barack Obama can bury more money if he wins as president.
Thank you
Charles

I am not a McCain fan, but that ad is obviously very effective or there would not be so much discussion. Apparently it hits too close to home for Obama supporters. Just what has their man actually accomplished in real and measurable terms during his political career? nada, zip, butkus

People are sheep and McCain is selling his message… Or should I say Karl Rove’s message to the sheep. Turn the fan on high and see how much ignorance buys the message as the bovine by roduct hits the fan?
Great post GTL but I digress to the racist issues that the McCain camp has raised. Ya I talked about it a bit bro.

McCain is a personal affront to America and to Jews the world over; he has stooped to utilizing the biblical Moses to further his inexhaustible yearning for power; this is absolutely intolerable! I implore all Jews, to rise up against John McCain’s obtuse and vile utilization of Moses (in an attack campaign ad) for his recondite message in trying to secure political power, his own selfish interests, and the securing of votes at all cost! Does Senator McCain have any shame? I’m not Jewish but I’m Christian, and the biblical should not be used in secular nonsense. I’m soliciting Christians to do the same.
