Teddy Kennedy Endorses “Osama Obama” For President

Did Massachusetts Senator Just Endorse Osama (?)

Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts has endorsed Osama Obama -- oops -- Obama Osama -- OOPS -- Barack Obama for president...Yesterday we learned that JFK’s daughter, Caroline Kennedy, not only endorses the Senator from Illinois, Barack Obama, for president, but also suspects he just MIGHT be her daddy (?). Today we learn “Unc“, as he is affectionately known to the family (“Ted Kennedy” to the rest of us), has endorsed “Osama Obama”.

While some might instantly assume this could cause a huge family “rift” amongst the “Kennedy Elite Clan”, THIS writer assumes ole’ “Teddy” was, again, attempting, through his drunken stupor, to voice his favor for Obama Osama Barack Obama when he spoke up in his (?) favor just hours ago…

From The [ahem; oftentimes labeled "treasonous" by SOME] New York Times:

Ted Kennedy endorsing Obama

WASHINGTON — Senator Edward M. Kennedy will endorse Barack Obama for president tomorrow, breaking his year-long neutrality to send a powerful signal of where the legendary Massachusetts Democrat sees the party going — and who he thinks is best to lead it.

Kennedy confidantes told the Globe today that the Bay State’s senior senator will appear with Obama and Kennedy’s niece, Caroline Kennedy, at a morning rally at American University in Washington tomorrow to announce his support.

That will be a potentially significant boost for Obama as he heads into a series of critical primaries on Super Tuesday, Feb. 5. …”

Are we sure this “endorsement” by Ted Kennedy is any sort of a “plus” for the Obama campaign? Perhaps Caroline Kennedy’s endorsement MIGHT have been, but Teddy’s? I’m not so sure an endorsement for Hillary Clinton by Britney Spears would be anymore helpful to his opponent than Teddy’s is for Mr. Osama Obama, but that’s just me thinking out loud again, as I often DO around these parts.

Who is the “Esteemed Gentleman From Massachusetts” REALLY endorsing — Osama or Obama? If the latter, I JUST might have something in common with him after all. But, at THIS point, that’s still a bit of a “stretch”…

Other than the 300ish pounds on his frame how much weight does Teddy really carry these days?

This was a fun read, and, I think about the way I see such an endorsement. Does anyone really want Teddy toasting a glass for them, ever…
