Yawwwwnnn…
It gets old, doesn’t it? Obviously, these… these… “PEOPLE” are rooting for President Bush and his cronies; waving the “Bush-Cheney ‘08″ (via martial law) flag for all it’s worth, aren’t they? What’s wrong: can’t put “two and two” together? Allow me to ‘hep ya’ out a bit on that one…
From DEBKAfile (courtesy of MemeOrandum):
DEBKAfile Exclusive: New Al Qaeda threat of radioactive truck attacks naming New York, Los Angeles, Miami
The threat was picked up by DEBKAfile’s monitors from a rush of electronic chatter on al Qaeda sites Thursday, Aug. 8.
The al Qaeda communications accuse the Americans of the grave error of failing to take seriously the videotape released by the American al Qaeda spokesman Adam Gaddahn last week. “They will soon realize their mistake when American cities are hit by quality operations,” said one message.
Another said the attacks would be carried out “by means of trucks loaded with radio-active material against America’s biggest city and financial nerve center.”
A third message mentioned New York, Los Angeles and Miami as targets. It drew the answer: “The attack, with Allah’s help, will cause an economic meltdown, many dead, and a financial crisis on a scale that compels the United States to pull its military forces out of many parts of the world, including Iraq, for lack of any other way of cutting down costs.” …
JEEBUS CRISP, why do I feel like I’m reading an interview of Vice President Cheney by Sean Hannity on FoxNews?
All the latest, lamest, GOP talking points are right there:
“America’s in great danger…”
“The ‘Surge’ is angering al-Qaeda, so it’s working well…”
With recruiting numbers down for our military and with al-Qaeda’s declination in popularity with moderate Muslims these days, is it any wonder how the GOP and the “terr’ists” have found a mutual interest in campaigning on the same “talking points” together?
Without these “imminent danger” threats to Americans by these insane, bearded, turban-wearing wackos; the equally insane BushCo™’s attacks upon the Constitution; the HIGHLY profitable “Big Oil and Nation Buildin’ And Terr’r Fightin’ Bidness” would be sure to suffer drastically — bad news for both sides. Without these “imminent danger” threats to al-Qaeda by “The Great Satan”, Bin Ladin’s popularity poll numbers run lower than even President Bush’s. Without all of the above in place, the “fundie extremists” from BOTH sides suffer in the fact that they’d really not have a heck of a lot to do, and way, too much time on their hands to face themselves in the mirror.
Sorry, call me a “liberal wacko” if it makes you feel better; but I FEAR President Bush’s heavy hand a HELLUVALOT more than I do the uncalloused, feminine hand of any al-Qaeda member in America today.
BRING IT ON, al-Qaeda; at least I can blow your heads off LEGALLY if you follow through on your promises. On the other hand, I’d be tossed into prison for doing the same to those who have, somehow, made it “legal” to overtake our Government in an allegedly “legal” coup with worse intentions even than your own.
Ahh… the “good ole’ days“…
There was a time not so long ago where you’d ALL be swinging on the end of a rope under the thick limb of an oak tree.
