Not sure I’m on the guy’s bandwagon here — a President does have the right to spare his fellow crooks the noose after all — but I found this little “tidbit” to be rather interesting…
Congressman Wexler to File Resolution Censuring President Bush for Commuting Libby’s Prison Sentence
(Washington, D.C.) Congressman Robert Wexler (D-FL) has drafted and will file a Congressional resolution censuring President George W. Bush for his egregious and politically motivated commutation of Scooter Libby’s prison sentence. The censure resolution, which is attached below, will be formally introduced in the House of Representatives on Tuesday July 10, 2007 when Congress reconvenes from the 4th of July recess.
Congressman Wexler, a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee, said today that “this presidential intervention is an unconscionable abuse of authority by George W. Bush, and Congress must step forward and express the disgust that Americans rightfully feel toward this contemptible decision. …”
The Righties will be jumping all over this one; pointing out that Congressman Robert Wexler favors the enjoyment of prostitutes and cocaine “cause it’s a fun thing to do” despite, as one YouTube‘er puts it:
An exercise in futility, Congressman Wexler, but thanks for caring.
When two-bit CROOKS are allowed to ascend to (and/or descend UPON) the White House, they are allowed to bring their fellow CROOKS aboard and pardon (and/or “commute”) their prison sentences in exchange for “their many years of honorable service to the United States of ‘Merka“, didn’t you know that? It’s one of those “executive privileges” Presidency after Presidency keeps ramming down our throats as some sort of a sick and twisted “fact” when, in fact, “executive privilege” isn’t actually FOUND anywhere within the U.S. Constitution in the first place.
Touch base with Senator Russell Feingold (D-WI) to learn more about what happens when a free-thinking, freedom loving, “America first”, (real) LIBERAL steps up to the plate to cause headaches to the two-party status quo, Congressman Wexler.
You have GOT to admire a man who would put a gram of coke and a hooker on the backburner in order to better serve his fellow Americans by putting them ahead of his party, don’t you?

[...] What’s funnier: Hookers, cocaine or… censoring president Bush? Fox News again, taking things out of context. Watch the video. Journalistic integrity anyone? [...]
