President Barack Hussein Obama To Panama John: “The election’s over, John.”

As the REAL non news of today’s unprecedented yawnfest Obama healthcare summit meeting on Capitol Hill, as being reported by The Wall Street Journal, is unwinding (the Obama Administration is preparing a “scaled down” version of the comprehensive healthcare bill now) at this time, real and perhaps, ONLY highlight of the day was this exchange between the president and Señor Juan Sidney McCain of Arizona Panama

That’s right, John McCain Panama John — that (Palin-McCain) campaign IS over, however; you might SOON be feeling the heat from the birther wacko from your adopted home State of Arizona in your adopted nation of the United States of America by the name of J.D. Hayworth (The Politico). Perhaps, you should worry about THAT campaign, Sir? I’d highly recommend it…

A little late for the open comments, but this is a good place for this:

      http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2010/02/25/EDVV1C6HTS.DTL

So, should we have Canadian style (i.e. Obamacare) in the US? Me thinks not!

      • Doomed

@SJ, What is mind boggling is that the Progressives think that we can lower costs by subsidizing 45 million MORE>>>MORE>>>>MORE people who currently dont have insurance.

They believe in their wildest dreams that insurance companies WILL LOWER costs by insuring MORE people. HAHAHAHAHA…..yeah and WALMART WILL LOWER COSTS BECAUSE KMART GOES OUT OF BUSINESS…….right.

They remind me of the guy who went out and bought a motorcycle to save gasoline and to help his family budget by reducing the costs of gasoline. So he purchased a motorcycle for 150 dollars a month in payments. Then he had to buy motorcycle insurance which was about 25 dollars a month. This on top of the fact he was still paying his 450 dollar a month SUV payment and 100 dollars a month insurance on the SUV.

But by golly he did save 25 dollars a month in gasoline…..even though he added 175 dollars a month in expenses to his families budget but his wife loved him for the fact that their gasoline bill was 25 bucks a month lower then it used to be…….

So goes the progressive concept of health care saving us money. If we can just get more people buying insurance the premiums will lower by xxx dollars a month to the average family…..SUPER….the problem is that the US government is then nailed with paying for the costs of insuring 45,000,000 Americans who cannot afford their own insurance……

But wait….IT GETS BETTER……..the FEDS wont pay….the states will…..by drastically increasing MEDICAIDE…….FORCING STATES to pay for STUFF THEY CANNOT AFFORD.

Rally round the flags boys……Saul Alinsky proclaimed…..create a crisis and then solve the crisis.

Well the Progressives want to create a health care crisis by putting into place a nation health care plan that every one of the 50 states CANNOT AFFORD.

Then the states will be screaming to the FEDS for HELP…the people will speak……..SAVE US…….so the FEDS WILL STEP IN and Voilla……..They will institute single payer, government run NATIONAL HEALTHCARE.

No matter what is in this 2000 page health care bill you can rest assured America it is designed for one purpose in mind……..destroy Americas ability to pay for health care by throwing unconstitutional burdens upon the states and then offering to step in and save them.

If fixing health care was easy we would have done it by now…….

Yeah, Obama’s remark, condescending as it was to a Senior U.S. Senator (shouldn’t a President be above that sort of behavior?), was not even on point with McCain’s prior comments. I’m sure Barry-O’s people were up late thinking of that zinger. Too bad O’bummer couldn’t find an appropriate time to use it wisely.

But did you hear the comeback from McCain. I’m afraid it may have been so subtle it flew over many people’s heads – it clearly flew over O’bummer’s head. McCain said; “Yes, I’m reminded of that every day.” (In other words, yes, I’m subjected to watching your poor performance and how you’re damaging this country every day, O’bummer.)

So the real story is Obama’s inappropriate and boorish comments, and Senator McCain’s sagacity and wit.

@F&B, Yes sir F&B, apparenty the GTL missed his come back to Obama’s condescending comment as well. They say those that criticize others are guilty of the same. The “campaign is over Senator McCain”…? Are you kidding me, Obama has done NOTHING but “campaign” since was mistakenly annointed, I mean appointed. GTL, you been listening to his teleprompter speaches the last year, or only hearing what you want to hear…?

        • F&B

@CLD, Good point CLD. Obama sounds like he’s still campaigning in nearly every speech he makes. Maybe that’s because he’s better at telling people what he is going to do than telling them what he has actually done…

        • The GTL™

          @CLD,

“GTL, you been listening to his teleprompter speaches the last year, or only hearing what you want to hear…?”

Only hearing what I want to hear, bro — just like you and most of my other fellow Americans… ;-)

Interesting, TheOneWhoWon and the Dems. point around and say “Look! Real live Republicans! See!?!? They are here.” But what gets said is just a follow up on what TheOne said his second day in office, and backed by Harry and Nancy – “We won, you lost. STFU, and do what you are told.” Which is pretty much what I was told by staph (sic) in the offices of Woolsey and Boxer – they know what is best and don’t need or want any opposing views, their way or no way.

The election is indeed over and the new talking point coming accross the wires now from the Right is what I have been saying for 6 months now.

The left is so full of progressives right now that they are willing to RISK political suicide to get this done.

Remember GWB sent us into Iraq and the left went beserk…….but hes gone, the GOP was run out of town, taken out of power and heavily chastized for their war mongering.

BUT NOW…..whats happening NOW……the democrats are in charge…..they see that their actions are going to bring back the GOP to power and there seems to be nothing they can do about it because without their big 3 or 4 agenda items they are rudderless, lacking ideas and have no plans going forward.

So if the GOP can make a dazzling comeback based upon where they were just a couple years ago then……….

The democrats CAN TOO….hence health care will pass with a public option and a near repeal proof language written into it and the Dems will take their lumps at the polls knowing that IF THE GOP CAN MAKE A COMEBACK in a couple years…….THEY CAN TOO.
