Doster, Employs His Wit, Sarcasm, A Sports Analogy And Conservative Sense Of Humor To Attack Democratic Double Standards On Harry Reid And Political Correctness…

“Senator Harry Cracker Reid”

For those of you caught up in the throes of the “P.C.S.” (Politically Correct Series) college football game (computer rankings and popularity contests vs. best team decided on the field), or the first round of N.F.L. playoffs, guess who is responsible for the following comments…

“He was wowed by Obama’s oratorical gifts and believed that the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as Obama – a ‘light-skinned’ African American ‘with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one”

Now before you answer, consider if Sarah Palin had ever been rumored to utter such stereotypical, outlandish remarks. How about Rush Limbaugh, Newt, Mitt, Rudy; you name the Republican, conservative, anyone other than a liberal Democrat of course…

Well sports fans, it was none other than the chief architect of health SCARE “reform”, “crap and trade”, and all that is radial far left Senate majority leader, “Dirty” Harry Reid (Political Ticker)…

Certainly not the first of his elitist quotes, as the wise Senator doesn’t limit his “superiority complex” to just African Americans, as “smelly tourists” (NewsBusters) are just as bad is his world…

“My staff tells me not to say this, but I’m going to say it anyway,” said Reid in his remarks. “In the summer because of the heat and high humidity, you could literally smell the tourists coming into the Capitol. It may be descriptive but it’s true.”

So what was the Grand Master’s response to his Senate comrade? Did President Obama say he “acted stupidly” or that we shouldn’t “jump to conclusions”? Of course not, all is forgiven in love and war. That is if you’re in love with your radical ideology and at war with Conservative America.

“Harry Reid called me today and apologized for an unfortunate comment reported today. I accepted Harry’s apology without question because I’ve known him for years, I’ve seen the passionate leadership he’s shown on issues of social justice and I know what’s in his heart. As far as I am concerned, the book is closed.” — President Obama (The Politico)

Anyone remember Republican Senator Trent Lott (R-MS), majority leader back in 2002? He was forced to resign after making “racially insensitive comments” at Sen. Strom Thurmond’s 100th birthday party. Lott was quoted as saying that Mississippians “were proud to have voted for Thurmond in 1948 on the pro-segregationist Dixiecrat ticket” (NewsBusters).

Former Senator George Allen (R-VA), was lambasted for calling one of his opponents’ supporters a “Macaca” (YouTube) and lost his political clout forever Rush Limbaugh, was forced to resign from ESPN and later denied application for partial ownership of an NFL team for comments about a black quarterback…

“I think what we’ve had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well,” Limbaugh said. “There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn’t deserve. The defense carried this team.” — Rush Limbaugh (ESPN)

I wonder what the political “spread” is on this game. Will Senator Reid meet the same fate as his fellow “crackers”, or will he be protected in the pocket by the “good ole boys” on the liberal left? — This Sunday Column was penned by the one and only CLD

Wanna hear something even sicker that the Dems have up their sleeves?

Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa), chairman of the Senate health committee, argues that current rules have made it too hard for Democrats to exercise the mandate they received from the voters in 2008.

“Elections should have consequences,” Harkin said in a recent letter to his colleagues urging a change in filibuster rules. “Even when a party loses, it too easily can prevent the majority elected to govern from legislating.”

If thats not scary enough consider this……

To achieve the goal of a universal, single-payer health system, the White House must secure the power it needs by amending the Social Security Act to transfer pivotal controls from Congress to the executive branch. This transfer of power would ultimately give the President and the majority party, in this case the radical left Obama White House and Pelosi-Reid led progressive Democrats, the authority to frame and manipulate new policy, coverage options, and reimbursements, ultimately reshaping the future US health care system into a something unrecognizable in this country.

This power is found in………The deliberate setup for the White House power grab is built into the each of the health care bills and, if they fail, little-known twin bills called “MedPAC Reform of 2009” are waiting in the wings. The bills, S.B. 1110 and H.R. 2718, craftily amend the Social Security Act and transfer the Medicare guideline and rule setting processes, from the legislative branch to the executive branch. These bills offer cover to one another in case one doesn’t pass the House or Senate, respectively. Remember, Democrats need to gain executive branch authority by amending the Social Security Act over Medicare regulations and physician fee schedules to transform the health care system in a single-payer, socialized system.

Scary stuff guys. Scary stuff. While the Liberals sweated Bush and his spying on some people wanting to kill other people the Same Liberals are figuring new and ingenious ways to usurp the constitution and take over right after right after right in a power grab of unprecedented proportions.

Just another example of the lefts relativism.

CDL- While I read from the article your main idea isn’t attacking so much what Reid said, but more pointing out the double standard of tearing down some people for what they say that pushed the envelope even less than what Reid said. I don’t see anything terribly wrong with what Reid said, but Rush’s remark seems far more tame and innocuous than Reid’s comment. The problem is venue, Rush made his comment during a sports talk show, sports is far more serious and should be discussed with much more respect than the filthy dirty world of politics. Thus what Reid said is more appropriate given the muck of politics compared to Rush’s given the virtual religious reverence people pay to sports. Oh, and by the way, did you noticed all four of my picks matched exactly the results of this past week-end? :)

@Mike 300 spartans, Mike, great point…but isnt is a shame that sports is held in such reverence, while those that govern, legislate, impose laws and pass bills, are less important…As the populus loses itself in the latest “American Idol” season, the government continues to grow like a huge tick on our freedoms, sucking the blood out of our God given Freedoms…and YES, great NFL picks…GO SAINTS!!!

@CLD, Thanks CDL :) Sorry to Idol fans for not metioning the idol that they worship. I’m sure I read somewhere that idols weren’t something we should worship, I forget where I heard that, who knows maybe we shouldn’t worship politics either.
