Unemployment is soaring toward record numbers, banks are being bailed out and bailed out by The Gub’mint We, The People while refusing to bail very many of US out in return, he’s responsible for the zero percent interest rate and of course, he’s been named “Person of The Year” by Time Magazine (H/T goes yet again to MemeOrandum for The Pull). Pardon me, but I think I could have swallowed the “Nancy Pelosi” (a finalist for the same award) thing a bit easier than THIS guy.
The Recession is over, he tells us. Just buckle those seatbelts and await those trickle-down bucks to start clanging down from the sky into those pockets of yours, he encourages us. After all, isn’t that what happens when you send buttloads of big bucks into the pockets of overpaid CEO’s according to the financial principles of President Ronald Reagan’s “Reaganomics” (may he Rest In Peace)?

Seriously, why does anybody even take this “Times’ Person Of The Year” award seriously these days in the first place? Apparently, driving this country into “third world” status in a very well-argumentably ILLEGAL vehicle will do it these days.
If this guy was “fireable”, I’d say fire him along with the staff of Times Magazine for even having the GALL to pick this guy for this award…

Yeah, it all starts with the “Times person of the year award” being handed out to someone who really hasn’t accomplished much, then it starts spreading to other things. Next thing you know, we’ll be having people get Nobel Peace prizes for doing absolutely nothing.
