In A Sincere Effort To Assist The Transportation Safety Administration In Revamping Their Current “How To” Manual, We Are Publishing The Old One For Our Readers To Scrutinize And Make Change Recommendations To Their Elected Officials…
Yep, it’s just another one of those silly little government “oops” moments — the huge “big government” agency created by former President “Surge” W. Bush known as the Department of Homeland Security’s TSA has blundered again — this time by publishing their step-by-step airport security manual for government screeners online. ABC News is calling this a “Massive Security Breach“. I’m calling it “completely expected” and to say I’m not the least bit surprised would be an understatement. You can download the “old” manual HERE (since I’m sure it’s already been deemed, or is in the process of being deemed “obsolete”.
As you can also see, a sample CIA (former by now, I’m sure) identification card has also been provided and obviously, it would be awfully hard for such a secret ID to be reproduced in any way, shape or form. Still, you can’t be TOO careful — my suggestion is the CIA quickly change their official identification cards — but then again, things don’t seem to happen too quickly these days in government bureaucracies, do they? Perhaps our TSA airport screeners in the meantime, check EVERYBODY and check EVERY bag until they can become more creative and this time of course, actually keep their screening policies secret — perhaps even from those Cheney-Bush “evildoers”?
Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Are you saying this was published on-line last year? If not, I would advise you that as much as the President of the United States Obama may have inherited many problems from the previous administration, if publishing this manual on-line happened on his watch, this is one that “inherited” doesn’t fit. (Nice try) But then again, this is an administration of transparency, revealing interrogation techniques, giving the enemy a quit date in Afghanistan, giving foreign terrorists the same rights in the courts as U.S. citizens, why not be open about these procedures as well?
@Mike 300 spartans, You have the criticism part well represented, but the constructive part is completely undetectable. The result is that your comment appears to attack the writer, and President Obama, without containing anything of redeeming social value.

@Master David Goodmen, Your response to my comment is much appreciated. Sometimes when I take a verbal pot shot at our good host of this website, Mr. GTL, I forget the larger audience I happen to be addressing at the same time. Not just the ones whom make comments regularly, but others, including you, whom I don’t recall seeing before. Point well taken. I wasn’t really attempting to address the security issue at all as much as trying to say: “There you go again, trying to blame Bush for everything under the sun.” Perhaps as a side note, for any non-regular readers. I also have this “running joke” with GTL as he once accused Rush Limbaugh of not using the proper title of the President in a segment on Rush’s radio show. Rush probably says the name “Obama” 25 or more times a day on the average on his show. Thus, I’ll never refer to our commander in chief in my posts as anything but “The President of the United States Obama”. This probably also fits in the category as a jab at GTL with no redeeming social value. I will indeed, strive to remember ti promote positive and constructive remarks in the future mingled with my snarky and scathing ones. Thank you

Continuing to remind people, especially those that are less capable of discerning fact from fiction – like democrats, of the less well publicized actions of the Obama “administration” is most certainly a valuable public service that is of great social value and very constructive.
For example, reminding people of Obama’s LIES regarding transparency in government, the fact that he risks American lives by revealing specific details about U.S. interrogation techniques, the sheer stupidity of giving the Taliban and Al Qaeda our quit date in Afghansitan, the lunacy of giving military combatants the same rights that U.S. citizens enjoy due to the millions who have fought and died for this country to protect those rights. Reminding people of these things has much greater value to society than you seem to be able to recognize.
So, Blackbeery (sic) “Surge” Ombam, the connected president, let his tech weenies post sensitive information.
Anyone else notice how the tuchus lechers of the MSM have stopped using the phrase “his first term in office?” Have they given up on the BiC (Bower in Chief)? Maybe it is an indication that The One will only have one term. If nothing else, it seems the brazen gleem of this loose cannon has tarnised to a dull and lusterless patina of corrosion.
GTL is just saying out loud what the rest of you democrats are thinking . . . that President Bush is really still in charge and Obama is just a powerless, useless figurehead.

@F&B, I think we can do better though, anyone can sit on the sidelines and critize, that is quite easy, like the nonsense in The President of the United States Obama’s speech about TARP being poorly constructed but with “Great Stewardship” it has suceeded and ended up costing less than budgeted. Rather than just gripe on how there is talk those designated funds being misappropriated to be spent on another stimulus or how they aren’t really “funds” they are just I.O.U. notes piled upon I.O.U. notes ready to crush the economy into dust on some future date, (I don’t know when but I’ll bet it is long before San Francisco is under 3 inches of water from melting ice caps.) We need to be constructive. We need to promote nuclear power to reduce the dependance on fossil fuels. We need to encourage the government to boost enlistment incentives, hire more troops, thus reducing the strain on the militairy from the frequency of deployments while at the same time reducing unemployment. I feel better already speaking positive instead of just negative.
Pirates. That, is, the security everybody knows about from birth.That is what they are begging for, they want the writers from GTL to show up and be the airport security dudes. Bring a 6 pack and a DVD player, and occupy the airport security lounge.

Security manual writers are simply performing the art of messing with a manual. They “act” like the captain of the ship has no authority any more.That act, means the pilot can not throw you off the plane, he has to beg a strung out painkiller addict secretary to get off her foggy ass and get the paperwork first.
If the pilots run the plane, and you meet them and like them, that is your ride. If you don’t like the creep, get a better pilot. My dad was the best of the best,(pilot) he would meet with all the passengers before they got on the plane and relax a little and let them know he wanted a nice sa**fe comfortable trip, He would ask if you smoked, he would suggest very little alcohol on the plane, he was the Fu*** boss! and he insisted on showing a profit, not getting Points for “performing (arts)like the ticket seller was the authority. Developing nations such as Brazil which has one of the largest locks on offshore drilling in the world with its state owned Petrobas oil company which is heavily invested by George Soros is demanding that the USA committ to short term major cuts in order for her to be willing to engage in long term cuts of her own.
In essence then want the USA to commit to an energy policy that will destroy COAL..which will drive up oil prices. They want us to Stop offshore drilling so that Brazil can continue her dominance in that field.
Behind closed doors we all know what a great power broker George Soros is for the democrats.

@Doomed, A group backed by Soros is gearing up to steal the 2012 election for President Obama and congressional Democrats by installing left-wing Democrats as secretaries of state across the nation. From such posts, secretaries of state can help tilt the electoral playing field.
This is, of course, the same Soros, the same hyperpolitical left-wing philanthropist who makes no secret of his intention to destroy capitalism. Regarding health care bill.

Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) said Wednesday that the talk among members was that the bill could be added to the omnibus appropriations bill and passed during the holidays, even between Christmas and New Year’s Day. He said that that line of thought included adding an increase in the nation’s debt limit. It would be more difficult to vote against the spending bill, even with healthcare and more debt, because it includes funding for members’ pet projects and money for the military. “Then some could say, ‘You’re not supporting the troops,’” Stupak explained.
Congratulations America. You have just signed up for lower premiums and much, much, much higher taxes including a VAT in which everyone pays.
