That’s right, folks — it’s YOUR turn to speak up again. President Obama is under fire for not making everything “perfect” during his ten short months in office, CNN’s Lou Dobbs is pondering a presidential run in 2012, and yep — former DNC Chairman Howard Dean is screaming again — this time, about how his fellow Democrats on Capitol Hill are doomed to ruination by either failing to pass rational healthcare reform or settling for a crappy version of it. In other words, just another day in American politics…

HOWARD DEAN SCREAMS AGAIN — THIS TIME RE: OBAMACARE…

The Huffington Post interviewed the former DNC Chair and he told them the Democratic leadership (perhaps an oxymoron?) is screwing up on President Barack Hussein Obama’s healthcare reform push and now faces a no-win situation. “Waterloo”? Well, he didn’t use that word but that’s precisely what the man meant. Forget for a moment whether we are talking “Democrat” or “Republican” — we are talking about a BADLY-NEEDED reformation of our current healthcare system and reigning in the “Big Pharaceuticals” and let’s hope the former “screamer” is completely wrong — not for political capital reasons but for the American People as a WHOLE. As long as we have folks like Senator Blanche Lincoln out there, we still have “hope” as a dangling carrot. Now, let’s all put our heads together as we hope to effect some “change”, eh?

REPORT CARD: PRESIDENT OBAMA GETS A C-MINUS THUS FAR…

No, that’s not “news” — that’s just my own personal grade for Number 44 thus far. As Andrew Sullivan of The Daily Dish reminds us, the man’s only been in office for about ten months and Rome wasn’t [re] built in a day. Yeah, I know, it seems like President Obama’s been in office for years but that’s only because he doesn’t share the same disdain for the American People his predescessor, (former) President “Surge” W. Bush did for The Press — the People, in other words. This president talks almost daily to his Constituents, whereas; “Surge” reserved his addresses to the People for bi-annual yawnfests full of embarrassing gaffes (YouTube). Even the “Right” complained about President Bush II’s inaccesability to The Press during his reign, now they’re complaining about the fact we now have a president who has never seen a camera or a microphone he doesn’t like.

You can’t have it both ways, can you?

PRESIDENT, OR SENATOR LOU DOBBS???

Hey, why in the hell NOT? He doesn’t like the far-right wing corporations in this Oligarchy of ours suppressing the wages of American workers by dangling carrots for illegal aliens from Mexico and South America to come on over here to chase the American Dream as criminals. I’m WITH the man on that one. On the other hand, he’s also one of those wacky “Birther” types who joins about twenty other of my fellow Americans in DEMANDING President Obama prove he is a Natural Born Citizen by providing ten other copies of the official birth certificate he’s already provided (I guess the man doesn’t have a photocopier yet, but hey — he’s in his sixties, right?) time and time again. Don’t laugh (YET) — this man could be our next president or YOUR next Senator (New York Daily News).

    A C-? That high? He embarasses himself, and us, in Japan. Gets owned in China. Let us get pushed around by the Russians. Pissed off the Brits. Has ultimatems issued by Iran. Germans are now commenting on his hollow shell. Israel is starting to ignore him. Hell, even Chris ‘Tuchus Lecher’ Matthews is calling him ‘carteresque,’ and not in a good way.

    Re: ‘birthers.’ I don’t understand the hate the left has for them. The same concerns were raised about McCain. He produced all the appropriate documentation. The former junior senator from IL on the other hand has told us it is none of our business. Ditto for just about everything else in his past, other than anecdots to show how diverse and inclusive he is. Well, other than his white family, he would rather deny any association with white folk.

    I got two items for my contribution:

    Terrorist trial in NYC. I think this is really going to haunt Democrats in 2010. I’m not a huge Lindsey Graham fan, but he really exposed the incompetence of our Attorney General Eric Holder (and Obama) as Holder took questions from our Congresscritters regarding this dumb decision.

    Another good one…Obama has the gall to express concern about the deficit to the press last week. Even the left (the fiscally intelligent left – oxymoron?) should be laughing at this one. Obama is on pace to add more $$ to the Nation Debt in 4-5 years than Bush did in 8.

    NYTimes: We Won’t Publish “Statements that Were Never Intended for the Public Eye.”

    With the release of hundreds of emails by scientists advocates of global warming showing obvious and entirely inappropriate collusion by the authors — including attempts to suppress dissent, to punish journals that publish peer-reviewed studies casting doubt on global warming, and to manipulate data to bolster their own arguments — even the New York Times is forced to concede that “the documents will undoubtedly raise questions about the quality of research on some specific questions and the actions of some scientists.” But apparently the paper’s environmental blog, Dot Earth, is taking a pass on publishing any of the documents and emails that are now circulating. Andrew Revkin, the author of that blog, writes,

    The documents appear to have been acquired illegally and contain all manner of private information and statements that were never intended for the public eye, so they won’t be posted here.

    Good GAWD! How two faced can they get? When that ever stopped them? Secrets that may endager troops in the field? PUBLISH!!! Secrets that give our enemies our security measures? PUBLSIH THEM! It is the publics right to know! But something that may cast doubt on The Word according to the Profit AlGore? Oh! We CAN’T publish those! Heven forefend! Those were never meant for the public eye! How dare you even suggest that!

      Here is one for you.

      Democrats and the purveyors of poverty.

      AGW..their crowning (Hopefully)achievement is designed to send more and more jobs overseas.

      Why?

      Because by passing cap and trade type legislation corporations will be forced to move more and more of their plants overseas in an effort to make money. It is I know…evil…but corporations and businesses are in the business to make money.

      ***YET***

      The democrats biggest bitch is jobs going over seas and the loss of job stability here at home. Both of these they lay at the feet of the Republicans who are trying to keep corporations from going overseas by giving them HUGE tax incentives….CORPORATE WELFARE…which the left has turned into a negative talking point.

      So on the one hand the left rails against corporations moving jobs overseas and on the other hand they are passing legislation designed to MOVE JOBS OVERSEAS.

      The Democrats are amazingly shrewd while their GOP counterparts are bumbling nitwits.

      So bottom line is this.

      Democrats tax Americans that force jobs to go overseas, while bringing in more illegals Immigrants who are poor to do menial labor and then bitch that its the Republicans who want the poor to suffer.

      When all along its the Democrats who foster and perpetuate poverty as a drug that only the democrats are able to provide.

      Food stamps….the poor are still poor.
      Housing……..the poor are still poor.
      Day care…….the poor are still poor.
      Health care….the poor are still poor.
      Education……the poor are still poor.
      Busing………the poor are still poor.

      The list goes on and on but you see my point? Democrats do not alleviate POVERTY…..THEY PERPETUATE POVERTY by making poverty comfortable.

      Its time the poor rise up and realize what pawns they have been in this wicked web of deceit spun by their supposed Champions……….the DEMOCRATS.

    Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.

    The three, all members of the Navy’s elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called an admiral’s mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.

    Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named “Objective Amber,” told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.

    Well boo-freakin’-hoo! The poor baby maybe got punched. My heart bleeds.

    The three SEALs will be arraigned separately on Dec. 7.

    Oh, the irony of that date.

    But good for the SEALs for asking for a mast. Haul it out in the open and show the scum for what he is.

    I’m inclined to lean towards enforcing rules even if it goes against people I like. Even heroic militairy shouldn’t have a blank check to do all/any behavior, however in this case, just a bruised lip? That’s absurd to pursue a court martial over something so trivial. I’m really perplexed why the Iraqis who took custody of the prisoner decided to take action on this.

      @Mike 300 spartans, I think the fact that they asked for courts-maritial rather than accepting something non-judicial punishment, says a lot about what happened. They are not afraid to have what happened come out in the open, which, to me anyway, says that they acted professionally. Maybe the thug got roughed up when they were taking him. Maybe he smacked himself against a bed frame to make it look like he got hit later.

      What is going to come out of this is fewer prisoners. Kind of like the Pacific theater in WWII – the Marines didn’t seem to take a lot of prisoners. Then the top brass started offering R&R for live prisoners. The Marines started taking prisoners. Worked real good, even got some useful intellegence from the prisoners. Then the brass took away the incentive. Number of prisoners dropped back to pre-incenive levels.

        @Joe Lovell, I never had to make a choice between article 15 and court martial while I was in the military, but sadly I saw some cases that I think a lower enlisted had a good chance of being aquitted but they were too fearful of possibly losing. (A legitimate concern considering the ramifications) So they would just take the easier path and take the article 15 hit, I’m no expert on the difference in the Navy of Captain’s mast, I get the idea it is much more serious than an article 15. I’m glad they are fighting it.
