The Exclusive GTL™ Sunday Guest Columnist Christopher L. Doster Interviewed After Multiple Brewskis By The GTL™ Himself (Video) — Welcome Back To Your Favorite “Red State”, Mr. Doster

Christopher L. Doster, Our GTL™ Sunday Columnist In The Flesh After Many Brewskis In A Dive On The Wrong Side Of The Tracks In Mobile, Alabama…

That’s right, folks — Chris Doster is back in town and below, you’ll find a slightly Left Of Center drunken GTL™ surpising a slightly drunken “CLD” with the video camera in my cellphone (amen to “instant technology” and amen to my trusty Samsung Rugby phone).

Earlier in the evening, I was semi-surprised and definitely delighted to hear “GTL!!!” in my favorite watering hole as I spun around to see my good friend — my twin brother from another mother (from the FAR right), standing there, arms outstretched, ready to argue sports and politics as always. From there and after many brewskis, we migrated to a “dive” he’d never been to as Mr. Doster celebrated his return to a “Red State” from his now-former “New York State Of Decline“.

We check out the ladies (pretty much all night long), we laughed as a couple of 80-something year old men fought over a pretty young girl in her teens (almost got dangerously physical actually), and we drank and drank cheap beers. My friend and I, our official Sunday Columnist, Christopher L. Doster have officially been reunited — think Hannity and Colmes and you’ve got CLD and I.

Briefly, I’ll share my “on the spot”, impromptu (“What the hell are you doing, GTL?” Put that damned thing away, for cryin’ out loud!“) video interview with Mr. “Moderately Right Of Center” in early A.M. hours at a place Chris’s “momma done warned him to stay away from” for decades…

ENJOY:

Bottoms, UP, Mr. Doster — and we look forward to your regular GTL Sunday Columns again. Great seeing you again, even if you ARE a work in progress. Come to the DARK side, Sir and welcome back.

    As a capitol district native myself, let me also welcome Mr. Doster back south of the mason dixon line. I think I may know how he feels…no way I’m going back there.

    Thanks SJ…Where exactly in the “Crap-itol disctrict”?…My original hometown is Glens Falls, NY. A sad commentary of what big govt, out of control spending, taxes, tolls and regulation can do to a city, county, and state. Wanna see what Obama wants, visit upstate NY, the state of NY, Detroil, MI, New Orleans, NJ, etc, etc….I agree sir, no way I go back either…God bless the Red states and God bless Alabama, by true “home town”…even if that darn GTL and his video camera is stalking me…ha ha

    @CLD,
    Hi dude,
    I’m from the thriving metropolis of Schenectady. You know the place where the tax base shrank (due to GE layoffs in the 80’s) and the politicians made up for it by spending even more!

    Hey, you have a pretty good voice, Guns. You should have your own talk show.

    The GTL™ Reply:

    @Joe Lovell, Heh… funny thing — Air America Radio approached me to be a co-host on one of their satellite radio shows — something about “What’s happening in the Liberal blogosphere today” and if I didn’t have frigging PTSD, I’d have taken ‘em up on it.

    I appreciate the compliment though, especially when considering I was just shy of DRUNK (as was our hero, CLD) at the time I took that vid or I’d probably not have ever done it in the first place. Thanks, bro :-)

    oh come on CLD, it’s not that bad up here in NY State! After all our idiotic governor is perhaps not going to make us buy clashing colored new license plates, we are only 3 billion dollars in the red for the state budget, darkness has ascended for the next 5 months, politicians continue to dream up more ways to nickle and dime us NY citizens, and the job market continues to shrink. Come on now, “it’s not that bad .. . it’s just sad” to quote you. Now I know that you are really going to miss the snow storms, ice storms, snow shoveling, and positive, happy people up here. Think of all the close friends you made up here (one = me), and the amount of tax you paid (on income, tobacco, beer, gas, and yes, even bottled water), and great biz opps you had (like snow shoveling when the northerns slammed the door in your face), and outstanding dates you had (blond emus, delmar adventure, etc.). Oh come on CLD, it’s really not that bad . . . living up here builds character .. . if you can make it in NY, you can make it anywhere! All kidding aside, congrats on your NY exodus! Well done! Be sure to come back for the extremely nice weather (LOE) that will occur up here in June – Oct (periodically) . . but be sure to just visit and rent to avoid your favorite items = taxes, tolls, regulations, NY state vampires, etc. Best Wishes!
