Governor Sarah “The Barracuda” Palin To Leave Office Permanently, Effective July 26th

In Other News: Rupert Murdoch Denies Interest In Purchasing The New York Times (“LIE” Alert)

Palin_Resigns_Alaska_Governor_2012_Presidential_Election_John_McCainFirst things first — remember — who’s the guy in the Blogospheres who brings you the REAL news before it ever actually happens, thanks indeed to my G.O.P. Insider? That’s right, folks — YOUR Gun Toting Liberal™.

Let’s rewind a bit, shall we? Who was the FIRST person to report the fact that former Arizona Panamanian national, Señor Juan Sidney “Panama John” McCain was cozying up to my former classmate from Wasilla, Alaska, Sarah Heath Palin. If your answer was “MOI“, you won the grand prize. Remember that one?

And now, Alaska Governor Todd Sarah Palin has announced she has made the decision to further her media scrutiny career by leaving her governorship, effective July 26th of this year (KTTU.Com). Let me tell you — NOBODY saw this coming, by the way — or I’d have reported it. Speculators say she’s gambling it all on “Red” for the presidency, which would in a way be sort of cool — a former classmate becomes president. On the other hand, it “ain’t gonna happen”. Her extremely UNPRESIDENTIAL reaction to David Letterman’s bad joke about her daughter followed by not only one, but TWO apologies has guaranteed she will slip into the “black hole” of American politics; a place shared by Tom Daschle, Rick Santorum and more than a handful of other “use ta’ be’s”. That’s not an “insider prediction” (although, my “insider” does agree it’d be tough for her to come back from that one) — that’s an official GTL™ prediction. Oh, and while we’re speaking of my “GOP Insider Predictions”, well — let’s get onto that one next…

Right-leaning MSM Media mogul Rupert Murdoch of Fox News fame, has (SEEMINGLY) out of the blue, found a huge reason to go onto the record to uncatagorically DENY any interest in purchasing the New York Times (Poynter Online). Where did that one come from, you ask? Well, again, let’s rewind back to January 5th of this year where I tried and tried to alert the public the New York Times WOULD be going “Right”. Remember that one? HINT: Scroll down to my P.S. It’s THERE.

So, the remaining question is this one: Will the NYT be promoting Sarah “The Barracuda” Palin for president in 2012? I’m still awaiting final word on that one from my “G.O.P. Insider” before I dare to answer. One day you’ll learn who to bookmark and who to pay STRICT attention to. WINK.

My instinct is to think that this has less to do with a Presidential run and more to do with something internal in Alaska, or despair overtaking her after months of public scrutiny that she was unprepared and unready for. However, given her reluctance to back in the past, my guess is that there’s something in the works in Alaska that is more likely to be the case.

More like the constant, continuing attacks by the hate filled media. How DARE a good looking, successful woman be a Christian and a conservative! She is supposed to be shrill, squinty eyed, and a socialist. Like Nancy or Babs. No, she had to be hounded, her daughters made the object of “jokes” about statutory rape, and her values questioned because one of her daughters made a mistake. They made sure that anything she said was marginalized.

Self promotion never plays well. Even when your doing it in half hearted jest.

Sarah Palin is toast. She quit. No other way to splain it away. She quit. I give up. I want my mommy. I’m taking my ball and going home. I can’t stand the heat. I’m outta here. Adios. See ya later. I’ve got muffins in the oven.

No matter how you try to spin this. Shes done for as a national politician.

The minute she stepped onto the stage the savage assault of the left on her was beyond the pale and you’d have to go all the way back to…..back to Hillary Clinton to find a woman politician so assailed by her opponents.

What goes around comes around. Hillary Clinton weathered the storm. Is now secretary of State.

Sarah Palin quit and is now?…..who knows but while I do not dislike her. She lost my vote and support.

I hope she is not going to try and make some sort of run for public office anytime soon. That would just be embarrassing now for the GOP who is already down and nearly out.

Rumors on the interwebs are that she will be indicted on federal charges for embezzlement. These are just rumors but they would explain this whole bizarre move of hers.

Doomed the reason she was assaulted, by everyone btw, the Repubs were just less public about it, is simply because there was so much material available. It wouldn’t bother me though if personal lives were left out of politics but the Repubs and Kenneth Starr let those horses out of the barn when Whitewater morphed into Cigargate.

      How ya doin’ GTL?

Wrong. The absolute minute that Sarah Palin was announced as McCain’s VP the internet lit up with a bazillion pre prepared stories almost all of which were pure smears and lies. They were pre prepared to smear her name if the GOP dared to call on her.

It was an organized effort to go after her just as the GOP went after Clinton and the left within the Democrats own party went after Hillary Clinton and the other half of the left went after Obama.

Incidently the fact that McCain picked Palin and then essentially didnt like her is because hes a Moderate left leaning senator who picked a conservative right leaning Woman whom most of his staff and supporters were not on board with to start with.

This is why I’m hearing that nothing could have been nicer for the GOP then to finally give the Maverick his shot at the White House and then watch him implode by making one bad choice after another…starting with picking a rather far right Conservative.

Palin would not be my choice for President or VP but I thought she was actually pretty cool. I loved the air head, valley girl, Nasal North Dakota Accent. I thought she was pretty good for being a nobody with not much experience. Just imagine where Palin would have gone if she had been given opportunities to excell that did not put her in the limelight as the person the left loves to hate.

Sarah Palin was, and continues to be attacked by the low-lifes in the Party of Hate for one reason, and one reason only – They are scared of her.

They are scared of what she represents – Truth and Integrity. And they are scared of her potential to rally the opposition against the current COMMUNIST O’bummer regime.

Gov. Palin was attacked in ways NO OTHER candidate was ever attacked. Attacks against her and her family were beyond the pale. The Party of Hate stooped to new lows attacking her family, and at times even her “Choice” to exercise her Choice and bear a child who was born with Down’s Syndrome. When the lowest denominators of our society suggested that she should have aborted this beautiful and special little boy, those people crossed a line that no person should ever cross. Those people are not promoting Freedom of Choice, as they claim, but are simply PRO-ABORTION – Use Abortion to solve your little Mistake, no one needs to know.

Even the worst of the republican attacks against Hillary or O’bummer never involved their children, or any choices they made regarding their children. Families are off limits, except for the Party of Hate.

Sarah Palin will be back. You can count on that. Steve may be right, and she may be involved in some internal Alaska business for a year or two. But watch out Party of Hate, Sarah Palin is headed back for the national stage, and this time she knows what she is in for and she will be ready.

So get your little pitch-forks sharpened Obama-bots, she’s comin’ for ya.

These statementa brought to you by the folks who sponsored the Vince Foster “murder”, the Mena airport “drug smuggling ring”, the boys run over by a train “murder”, the Arkansas Project, Troopergate, Travelgate, the White House e-mails, the Swift Boat Veterans for “truth”, impeachment, the birther baloney and the Whitey tapes.

So, DB, where on your little “list” of grievances did the right attack Chelsea when she was 14 years old??? Or suggest that she should have been aborted???

      Yeah, that’s what I thought.

Well, Rush Limbaugh talked about the White House dog and then held up a picture of her on his television show. Also, Chelsea didn’t get pregnant. Imagine if she had.

BTW, I don’t have a list of grievances. I was merely refuting the ridiculous assertion that Miss Sarah “was attacked in ways NO OTHER candidate was ever attacked”. I didn’t even mention the “Obama is a Muslim” stupidity or the “palling around with terrorists” attacks that Sarah herself launched against Obama.

Politics is a tough business and I wouldn’t want to be involved myself, but Sarah Palin came out of the gate throwing some damn sharp elbows herself. What did she expect? It now appears she is a classic dish-it-out can’t take it kind of politician.

There is a huge difference when one guy holds a photo up on a television show and says something untoward then and entire internet, Utube, facebook, blogs etc….all proclaiming and joinning in unison the concerted effort to smear the lady.

      The differences are profound.

Hillary and Bill Clinton were even portrayed as racists by their own party in an effort to get Barak Obama elected. My revulsion of Obama came not because of Obama but because of the tricks and treats of his supporters.

This last 6-8 years in American politics has just been horrendous.

No, Doomed the last 15 years in American politics has been horrendous. And there were times in the 1800’s that our last 15 years would seem like a picnic. But for once I agree with a lot of what you say. Hillary Clinton was damned for breathing. But then so was Ellenour (sp) Roosevelt. Almost every woman politican has been. They’ve been called on their looks, asked if they could get pregrant, condemned for PMS, told they couldn’t be proper mothers if they were elected to office etc. etc. etc.

And by the way FandB, Chealsa was 16 years old when John McCain said, in public, that she was so ugly that Janet Reno must be her father. Double slam, he got two ducks with one shot there. Weren’t you proud of him? I agree the children should be left alone but I also feel that just maybe Palin shouldn’t push her children out front and center so much. She is the first politican in the last 60 years that I can remember doing what she did with her kids.

I have never felt so sorry for a girl that I did for Bristol during the Republican convention. Just what every 17 year pregrant girl wants, to be put on national television and paraded around. A very Republican friend e-mailed me the day after the convention ended. He said that he just wanted me to know that this was how he felt.
That if Sarah Palin had been a Democrat that the Republicans would have never gotten over it. She would have been condemned for being a poor mother, for having not taught her children any morals and that she was unfit for any public office.

As far as I am concerned Palin is a whiner and a crybaby. Give me a Chrissy Whitman any day. She knew how to take the heat and win. And she didn’t have to put her children on stage to do it.

Sarah Palin put herself on the national stage and had to expect anything and everything the low-life Party of Hate wanted to throw at her. No problem, that is politics in the U.S. today.

The things that the members of the Party of Hate threw at her CHILDREN is where I draw the line. Suggesting that her Down’s son should have been aborted was disgusting, reprehensible beyond belief. The republicans have never done anything that comes close to that.

Of course Letterman’s highly publicized wisecrack’s about Palin’s 14 year old being raped by a baseball player while Sarah attended the game is almost as bad, and far beyond any comment ever made by a republican. Apology or not, another high profile Hater doing what democrats do best – Hating.

If the democrats can’t even admit when such a series of egregious, evil comments have been made, then there is no *hope* at all for the Party of Hate. Rather than admitting the depth of their depravity, they make excuses and blame the person who was attacked; “just maybe Palin shouldn’t push her children out front and center so much.” It is exactly like blaming a rape victim for being raped – she shouldn’t have been there at night, or she shouldn’t wear such revealing clothing…

Democrats have become slaves to their own hatred of anyone who believes differently than they do. They may preach tolerance, but they DO NOT practice it.

So, once again, sharpen your little pitch-forks Party of Hate, Sarah’s comin’ for ya!

      F&B

I agree with virtually everything you have said, except:
      A) I think you were a tad conservative ( no irony intened). There has NEVER been a scion of a Democratic Party politician subjected to what the Palin family went through. The Left may whine all they want about exposes of the Clintons or the Kerry’s, yet had they or any of several other Democratic elites had the entire force of the investigative media descend on them in an impartial fashion, the result would surely have been unpleasant.
      B) As a personal opinion, Gov. Palin was a stalking horse for another true conservative candidate. She took the heat, and distracted the media arm of the Democratic Party. Look for someone else to rise to prominance in 2010. The idiots at the alphabet networks will still be focused on Gov. Palin, while the intended candidate speaks to the unwashed. Pretty much what the Democratic Party did in 2007/2008
