That’s correct, dear readers — South Carolina Governor Mark Samford snuck out of his home state without notifying his wife, his kids, his successor or even his “S.C. version of The Secret Service”d in pursuit of a “writing career” (The State) [?] While Governor Sanford is still officially classified as “Missing In Action” (“MIA”) at this time, some reports are claiming he has been spotted alive and well in Atlanta, Georgia hanging around at some of the more racy nightclubs in “Hotlanta” throughout his extended weekend off, complaining about kids, the draining workload behind running a successful governorship, the wife’s constant carping about his “whereabouts”, etc., etc., etc.
That said, thank God the Amber Alert system seems to be working and Governor Mark Sanford appears to be alive and well; perhaps, just sewing a “wild oat” or three. While we’re at it, let us bow and pray for the whereabouts of former Senator Tom Daschle to be revealed sometime soon as well.

Well, his office knew roughly where he was. And sounds like somone could have reached him in a few hours. In a real emergency the Lt. Gov takes action. Hell, the former junior senator from IL in the White House is equally out of touch. Just that he hasn’t gone anywhere.
Well, he has taken 4 world tours in 5 months, so he has gone places. And shown us just how out of touch he is.

Yeah Barak Obama poll numbers are dropping…down to 58 percent now. N. Korea is firing missiles. Iran is in chaos. Barak Obama is making a judgement. That judgement is to..ah…well…lets see…what does the Daily Kos and Huffpo suggest I do?
Health care is going to guarantee that not another single full time American will be hired in the future because only FULL time employees must have mandatory health care. Small business is going to be run out of business because they cannot afford 1500 a month per employee in health care.

All is well again. It turns out he was taking the underground railroad to escape the enslavement of stimulus money. Unfortunately, legislation from a judge (The fugitive stimulus money act) has forced the governor back to his state to spend the money he was running from.
