Poll: Regular Churchgoers Are ONLY Demographic Holding Strong In The Otherwise Incredible Shrinking G.O.P.
Again, I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried. The newest Gallup Poll on the topic of “The Great Party Of NO!” has found only Jesus’ Holy Kids (oh, and before you attack, I’m also a Christian, by the way) are holding strong to the former (thank God!) Cheney-Bush team’s Party Of Lincoln Party Of Ted Bundy And Timothy McVeigh’s shared family values. Kind of makes one THINK, doesn’t it? If not, it damned well should. Here’s a “gut-check” — if you truly believe President Obama is The Antichrist, please locate your nearest psychiatrist TODAY before you hurt somebody.
Hmm. Full of those so-called “Christian values”, the Republican Party of today, eh? “God’s Party”, eh? Torturing one’s enemies? Spying on one’s neighbor? Killing “bad guys” and “bad gals” who are mentally deficient enough to commit heinous crimes? Plotting to steal a portion of THIS Alabamian’s paycheck to pay for the Palin-Stevens team’s infamous “Bridge To Nowhere”? What would Jesus do (a.k.a., “WWJD” for acronym freaks) — all of the above? Somehow, I seriously DOUBT it…
But try convincing this tiny little “cult sect” of our population who are content with this version of “conservatism” of that one. Here’s a newsflash for those who subscribe to this “religious right” crappola: Jesus was is a LIBERAL and His Daddy was is a far-right Conservative. The FORMER was is The One who brought us a new contract. Look it up and “Let he without sin cast the first stone“. Guilty as charged. Now YOU own up to it. Thanks in advance.

Good GTL…I hope the “false prophets” of the Gop are exposed as just that. The GOP has declined because they tried to be the GOD(democrat light), and I for one(along with millions of supporters)wont have it anymore. Bush spend like a drunken sailor, and bowed down to the Dems like Obama to the middle east. There has been no distinction between the two parties, and with the media getting “chills” up their respective legs for Obama, he is now the “American Idol”. Ya think our illustrious “govt schools” indoctrinating our youth on how great the Dems are and how bad the “rich fat cat Rebubs” are might have something to do with it…? I have a conservative temperament, but the Reps lost me a long time ago, when it became clear to me that represented fake aristocrats like Dan Quayle and George Bush, not me. More recently, becoming the party of religious fanaticism, of torture, of “unitary executive” (= Byzantine autocracy) has not lured me back; far from it!
There is a place for a party representing the interests of property owners and businessmen, but the GOP is not it!
If Reps want to salvage their reputation and have the rest of us listen to them, they need to punish the Torture Team.

Jesus Christ did not and would not ever condone the mass execution of millions upon millions of pre-born children as is happening in this country. A practice that is gleefully accepted by the Party of Hate. A practice that is also gleefully accepted by the leader of the Party of Hate, Obama (aka the Antichrist, aka Obama the Indonesian).
As far as taxes are concerned, Jesus addressed that issue directly; “Render unto Caesar that which belongs to Caesar…” Jesus was God incarnate. He did not do this (i.e. become human) to address mundane materialistic issues. He did this to address the Spiritual issues, to save man from himself, and from evil (aka Obama).
It is funny how the Dem’s attacked President Bush for so many of his policies that Obama the Antichrist has so clearly and completely adopted himself. And the double-talking Dem’s still believe it was wrong for President Bush to do those things, but it is OK if Obama the Antichrist does the same things. For example, accusing Bush of increasing the budget deficit, but Obama’s deficit will be at least four or five times Bush’s deficit – but the Party of Hate is OK with that??? Quite a double standard there. And if you actually examine the budget deficits year by year, they declined every year after 2002, up until 2008. The deficits were driven by: 1st – 9/11 and related military actions, i.e. the War on Terrorism, and 2nd – by the economic problems of 2008.
The biggest problem with the democrat party is that they only believe what their leader, Obama the antichrist, tells them to believe. They are completely incapable of forming an independent coherent thought outside their little bubble of Hate.
It is much more important to live by your values than to worry about whether or not your preferred political party is currently in the majority. As any student of history can tell you, the pendulum swings back and forth, both ways. As soon as Americans have had a taste of the democrats’ liberalism for a few years, the pendulum will swing back toward conservatism again. It may not even take a few years if Obama the Antichrist lets America taste the full flavor of his brand of Socialism too soon.

F&B… You might want to go and look up the terms “liberal” and “conservative.” I don’t think they mean what you think they mean.
Government involvement in ANY issue is a liberal approach– that includes government telling you that you can’t have an abortion. The conservative approach would be to leave the government out of it. (Of course, this also includes government funding.)
Jesus also spoke quite a bit about caring for one’s neighbor. (You might call this “redistribution of wealth” or even “socialism”.) Then there’s also the idea that your money is not YOUR money. (There is nothing that you have that is not God’s.) He also favored paying taxes and suggested that those who have more should give more (the widow’s mite). These are all “liberal” concepts.
But please, keep talking. You are, after all, the poster boy for the above post. (And if Obama were the Antichrist, he’d be far less opposition and criticism. Remember, the Antichrist is supposed to be loved by all– at least for a time.)

Conservatives also believe that the Constitution should be enforced, including extending ‘equal protection’ and the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to the pre-born.
In your third paragraph, it looks like you missed the point entirely. Whatever money someone possesses belongs to the government that issued it (…that which belongs to Caesar…). Your being, your essence, your soul, your spirit – these were created by God and belong to God. If you worship your possessions to the exclusion of God, then your possessions are your god.
I agree that those who have more should give more, but this doesn’t just apply to money. (For the record, I never called ‘caring for ones neighbor’ socialism or redistribution of wealth.) I donate much to charity (most conservatives do, most liberals don’t) including my time. I don’t see this as socialism, I see it as being a good neighbor. Not everything has political or religious over- or under-tones. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
I do not agree that these are liberal concepts, which goes along with the first line of this post.
No one ever said the antichrist would be loved by everybody. What was said was that he would mislead nearly everyone, even the ‘elect’ if that were possible.
