Hat’s off to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for wanting to get to the bottom of this “torture” and “waterboarding” stuff. Unfortunately, it appears she was a willing accessory to the whole thing from the word “GO!”. She is now claiming the CIA “lied” to her about the torture procedures being inflicted upon SUSPECTED terr’ists (The Note — ABC News) with no actual knowledge of the FACTS. Otherwise, why would she squirm so much in her press conference tonight? See for yourself and YOU be the judge:
Look — I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I want ALL personnel held accountable for and investigated for their participation in these torturous acts, including every politician, regardless of party affiliation, including but DEFINITELY not limiited to any military officer holding the rank of O-6 or above, and I want them prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Then, I want them all to be pardoned and set free by the [Barack Hussein] Obama administration just to set a precedence if nothing more. No man or woman, including a White House Occupant is above the law, after all, and my hope is President Obama will be ramming and exclamation point upon that concept. We shall see, shant we?
Personally, as a 100% independent (small “I” on purpose) libertarian Left (small “L” and big “L” on purpose) Liberal (capital “L” on purpose), I don’t give a damn about being considered to be “cool” in the Libertarian, Liberal, or Conservative Blogospheres — I want frigging JUSTICE — PERIOD. And, if that means watching the Cheney-Bush team being hauled off in cuffs along with Speaker Pelosi, Harry Reid, or anybody else who has ice water flowing through their veins and little regard for our OWN future prisoners of war and how they are treated, then SO BE IT.
You all should be angry — VERY angry. These future [American] torture-EES will be yourselves, your sons, your daughters, your grandchildren, your brothers, your sisters and your uncles and aunts. WE ARE ABOVE THIS. WE ARE AMERICA, for Christ’s Sake.
SHAMEFUL. Especially when coming from the botoxed mouth of our “third in command” as far as succession to the throne of our Democratic Republic OLIGARCHY goes.
Shame on the Cheney-Bush administration and SHAME on our so-called “liberals” who were up to their ears in this whole sham.

You my friend are naive. Terrorists are only interested in one thing – kill the infidel (that would be you and me and all of our loved ones by the way) at all cost. Being nice to them during interrogation will not translate to them being nice to us. Face it the only option is to kill them before they kill us.

I agree with part of what you said, being an “Any country worth fighting is a country worth devastating” kind of guy. Here however, I don’t think GTL is talking about nuking ‘em till they glow and shooting ‘em in the dark. I believe he’s concerned with our handling of prisoners, and how it reflects poorly on a nation devoted to honor and doing what’s right. In my lifetime alone, there was the national outrage at the way our POW’s were tortured by the North Vietnamese…oops,wait…the Left wasn’t bothered by that at all. Okay there was the outrage at how S. Hussein treated our POW’s fom Gulf war 1, and how he treated prisoners in general. This outrage ultimately led to us going to war again, with the entire nation standing as one…er..well the Left didn’t really go for that either.
Hmm,well anyway, I know that somewhere in the last 50 years the Left has been as disturbed at a foreign country as they are their own, and I’ll prove it. Probably not today, or tomorrow,or next Thursday, but just you watch. When I do, I’ll show you they really are as morally superior as they think they are.
