That’s right, the Party Of Abraham Lincoln Party of heinous serial killers Ted Bundy and Timothy McVeigh is in trouble obviously, and “The Huckster” is the latest to jump on the bandwagon to declare this self-evident truth and suddenly, it’s “news”. Everybody in the Blogospheres is weighing in on his latest press release (CNN Political Ticker). This follows an earlier press conference in which former (thank God) Vice President Dick “Shotgun” Cheney had urged the G.O.P. to basically, stick to the values of Bundy and McVeigh rather than change their “message” to the voters.
Next thing you know, The Huckster blasts his Republican Party for their impending, self-inflicted irrelevance and how it is now in grave danger of becoming a tiny little fat old white guy’s club of cigar smoking dweebs sitting around crying about what might have been “if only“. Funny, but this sounds awfully familiar to MOI (yep part French). Just weeks ago, wasn’t it RNC Chairman and scary-looking assault rifle hating Michael Steele who had spoken out loudly about how the G.O.P. should try and go “Hip-Hop“? And wasn’t it The Huckster himself who copped an attitude at the suggestion? Yeppers, it sure was. Surprised at the “flip-flop”? Not MOI.
No doubt, the G.O.P. is knee-deep in a self-induced quagmire and in a way, it’s sad because the Democratic Party is just BARELY better by the thinnest of margins and they’ve no opposition to the establishment of their Nanny State, i.e., the G.O.P.’s utopic Police State vision for America is now in grave danger. At least the authoritarians — both sides — had SOME opposition to “big brother” principles and now there is none for the Dems. Then again, maybe the Party of McVeigh and Bundy has already become “irrelevant”, particularly when the latest CNN poll cites the following as more popular than the Republican Party:
Raw broccoli Pulling the wings off of flies Michael Vick Chocolate covered fire ants Guantanamo Bay terror suspects
Well, I might have made some of that up but then again, what should one expect on a blatantly biased blog? On the other hand, I’d be surprised if all of the above were more than 10 points off from the Republican Party’s current popularity rating.

Other blogger reactions: Matthew O’Keefe of Papamoka Straight Talk (Left) believes the former Governor has be “hitting the sauce“; Dan Riehl of Riehl World View (Right) suggests it is The Huckster himself who is in danger of becoming “irrelevant”; Allahpundit of Hot Air (Right) says this just proves it’s time for a third party; Justin Gardner of Donklephant (Moderate Left) predicts the Republican Party will split in half; Ron Beasley of The Newshoggers (Left) is calling it “the Republican death spiral“

Yeah, yeah. Every time one party loses an election, the other party is in a “death spiral.” At least until the next election.
At least half of the people I know who voted for Obama deeply regret that decision today. Most are very unhappy with the reality of “change” as Obama sees it. Most are very unhappy with his selections of primarily tax cheats and socialists to head up major government agencies.
It is really the democrats who are starting their death spiral, they just haven’t realized it yet. The more Obama, Pelosi, Reid and their cronies get their way, the more they alienate the majority of Americans.
The clock is ticking dem’s. The next election is less than a year and a half away!
