The Party Of “No!” Gears Up To Just Say “No!” To Any Potential Suiters To Replace Retiring Supreme Court Justice David Souter

Supreme Court SCOTUS Justice David Souter Retiring and Obama needs to appoint far right judicial activist to replace him in order for the Republican GOP Party Of No to act like adults...Behind The Scenes, Capitol Hill Republicans Burn Up The Phone Lines Reminding Each Other To Just Say “No!” No Matter Whom President Obama Decides To Appoint To Souter’s Soon-To-Be Vacant Supreme Court Of The United States Seat (“SCOTUS”)

The recent infighting food fighting going on recently between G.O.P. officials over their “Party of No!” label has come to a sudden, screeching halt now that Justice David Souter has announced he’ll be going on permanent vacation very shortly, leaving it up to President Barack Hussein Obama The First to fill the vacant seat. Suddenly, the Republicans are all on the same page, ready to stand united and speak in unison no matter WHO is selected by President Obama. Once again, it’s “All for one and one for all” suddenly for the GOP:

NO!!!

From The Hill (H/T to MemeOrandum):

Conservatives gear up for high court fight

By Reid Wilson

Phone lines around Washington began burning this morning as conservative organizations kicked off preparations for the fight over President Obama’s eventual Supreme Court nominee. …”

(Snip!)

“… A group of more than 50 conservative groups held a conference call early Friday to begin plotting strategy… ”

(Snip!)

“… A spokesman for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said conversations about the Supreme Court vacancy have already begun between leadership offices at a staff level. “The leadership’s already engaged on this,” he said. …

Frankly, the only way to offset this current SCOTUS makeup which tends to lean (as we all know) toward the “legislate from the bench far-right) is for President Obama to appoint another Ruth Bader Ginsburg type to the bench, and that’s unfortunate. Well, there is another way — We, The People, can always push for term limits, impeachment and other various ways to rid the SCOTUS of its current makeup of political activists, both “Left” and “Right”, who absolutely ADORE their powers to legislate from the bench.

It would be nice to see a true Constitution-loving candidate who puts party politics behind him or her nominated, but then again, he or she would be like a fish out of water in this current makeup. Picture nine “Andrew Napolitanos” fighting it out on every issue and THIS Liberal believes we would be looking at a SCOTUS much more in line with the “People’s Law” our Founding Fathers were adamant about, be they “Left” or “Right” in today’s terms. Yeah, I know Napolitano is a Fox News talking head but if you read his biography, or if you’ll tune in and watch the man (if you can stomache some “FNC” time, that is), you’ll find he is quite FREQUENTLY at odds with the neocons who sign his paycheck. I like the guy quite frankly, but back to the main point.

Yep — looks like “The Party Of No!” is once again united in solidarity to turn this into another long, boring, predictable soap opera. Message to the G.O.P.: You’re going to be seeing a “Lefty” appointed to the bench, so you might as well stop this whole idea of making even biggers asses of yourselves as a body and give President Obama his right to do his presidential duty in this case.

Other Opinions: Andrew Sullivan provides his own roundup; Sprited debate as always at Drudge Retort; Ed Morrisey (Right) predicts it will be the far-left President Obama needs to fear the most; My personal friend Jay offers another roundup (mostly Right)

Well, geee boys and girls, ever since Nov. 00 the Dems have been the party of NO and played boat anchor to anything and everything productive in blatent attmpts to discredit the GOP and buy itself votes.

Now, for some strange reason, that is against the rules, and everyone is supposed to be in awe of Dear Leader and follow his every wish.

I say we put two illegal permanent resident on the SCOTUS. Either that or we scrap the SCOTUS and just transfer its authority over to Exxon/Mobil Board of Directors.

If he appoints an ACTIVIST, legislate from the bench nominee then its their duty to say “NO”.

If he appoints a reasonable constitutionalists then they would be wise to embrace he or she with open arms.

The ball is really in Obama’s court. Not the GOP’s.

For the sake of us ALL we need to rebalance the court with honest Justices who want to interpret the constitution not rubber stamp the far left policies of this country.

    Why wouldn’t they say no?

As I’ve said before… Don’t lose sight of Obama’s roots. Obama learned his political ideology – his demagoguery – from his cronies Bill Ayers, Frank Marshall Davis, Chicago’s Democratic Socialists of America, etc., but Obama learned his politics in Chicago – from the Chicago political patronage machine.

His SCOTUS appointments will come as the result of patronage, returning favors to those in Chicago and elsewhere.

And GTL is right, it will be a lefty – a far, far, far left lefty.
