Oh! The Horror!!!

President Obama, The Anarchist Antichrist, To Emphasize Scientific Exploration Over The Word Of God

After a dozen years of G.O.P. rule, we now all know our Founding Fathers had CLEARLY declared a mandated separation of all other religions other than Christianity and state, hence, the Constitutionally affirmed “Separation Of Church And State“. Our nation’s best, if not most popular president ever — George Dubya Bush, went out of his way to reclaim the dream of our Founders — their utopic dream of a nation founded solely upon Judaeo-Christianic principles and now, no surprise — “Barry-O” has plans to go and overturn all of the “progress” made by the previous administration to steer this great Democratic Republic back to being that “Christianic Nation” of Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and all of their fellow hard-right Christian co-Founders. Thanks a LOT, Mr. Obama. For nothing, Sir…

See the tyranny for yourselves, dear readers:

Obama to Lift Ban on Funding for Embryonic Stem Cell Research

By Rob Stein

President Obama is planning to sign an executive order on Monday rolling back restrictions on federal funding of human embryonic stem cell research, according to sources close to the issue.

Although the exact wording of the order has not been revealed, the White House plans an 11 a.m. ceremony to sign the order repealing one of the most controversial steps taken by his predecessor, fulfilling one of Obama’s eagerly anticipated campaign promises.

The move, long sought by scientists and patient advocates and opposed by religious groups, would enable the National Institutes of Health to consider requests from scientists to study hundreds of lines of cells that have been developed since the limitations were put in place — lines that scientists and patient advocate say hold great hope for leading to cures for a host of major ailments. …” — The Washington Post

There ‘ya go. Let us not only pray, but INSIST upon our Department Of Justice members to call in the Feds so they can arrest this illegal alien from some remote island called “Hawaii” the very MOMENT he signs this treasonous document. Click here to do just that. Of course, I’m serious. I always AM.

So, what will this mean to the “average joe” and the “average jane”? Simple — if you have children under the age of three years old, President Obama will have his loyal troops sent directly to your homes to snatch your kids up in order to cure old folks of their Alzheimers Disease. If this isn’t a clear signal that it’s time for an orange revolution in this country, I don’t know how to hep’ ya’.

Imagine, scientists deciding what is good science again instead of government deciding. Hopefully there will be no more suppressed reports because the report doesn’t agree with the religious beliefs of the President or of the President’s supporters. Wow, are you sure this is still the U.S.?

What’s next? Decent education that isn’t about Intelligent design? Mark my words, we’re on a slippery slope here.

    • LogicNeverFails

The autohor obviously has a limited knowledge of the founding of our country. I would reccomend actually READING a book as opposed to vomiting propaganda. Besides, what good would it do to attempt to harvest EMBRYONIC stem cells from a three year old? Please, dear author, at least obtain a remedial education before attempting historical analysis again. Perhaps I should re-write this, there were an awful lot of big words in there.

    • Mouse

First of all, Hawaii is one of the 50 American States so we can’t deport one of our own, idiot. Second, the government doesn’t take your children away, even if they could be used [which a three year old can't], the embryos they use were aborted. All you Pro-life people say that you want all people to have a chance at life, right? Well think about this. What if a little girl was born with muscular dystrophy because her mom smoked pot but she was the one who had to suffer with it. Don’t you think that if an aborted baby from a teenager who was possibly raped could help her, she should use it? Well, before she couldn’t thanks to idiots like you who practically told her to her face ‘We would rather throw away the thing that could save your life than let you walk again’. F**kin idiot. Why don’t you think for half a second, which is probably more then you ever have so I know it might be hard, about the consequences of this research and your reactions/decisions before you go out recruiting people for the cause you don’t see both sides to.

You know what this really is?

Liberals and Atheists who are terrified of dying. So they are doing all they can to find the fountain of youth.

What saddens me about this signing is not what it signifies. But that it means one day someone might come to me and say “Hey pops, we found a cure for your f***ing Alzheimers now you can REMEMBER HOW DAMN MUCH IT HURTS TO GET OUT OF THE BED IN THE MOURNING.

    • Greenschemes

Lets see because my calculator don’t go that far Im going to throw out the cure for our recession.

      1. The government can snatch all property and devalue it all to zero. They can then step in and tell all the companies what to make so that the state is well taken care of for the short and long term.

2 OR they can extend unemployment benefits for 2 years and raise the maximum amount to about 350 bucks a week. With roughly 15 million people on STATE assistance this would cost us roughly 700 billion a year and every penny of this would be stimulus to go right back into the economy in the form of consumerism.

      Problem solved.

      End of story.

No Socialism. No Communism. No Far left radical agenda. Just a boring solution that keeps everyone in America fed and helps them pay most of their bills. Sorry if you were making 100k a year…….You shouda saved……..oh wait…..they prolly did and the stock market took it all away.

Woe is us…..I know lets all get together and throw each and every person who lost a penny in the last 2 years a fund raiser so that their is NO risk in being alive.

Better yet. Maybe AIG could start a new insurance and call it Recession Insurance with Depressive results.

I know some of you believe he is the Messiah…NOT…as for Embryonic Research…it’s not working, but ADULT STEM CELL and Umbilical Stem cell are…so why not put the money there instead of distroying LIFE….you said they are only using aborted babies NOT TRUE, some states have offered money to women for their eggs…so not only are we killing our babbies, but we are selling them for profit…..We all need to take a step back, in the natural order, we are born, we live and we die…and how we lived along the way and how we valued life, is what matters, we are on this journey and yes we must suffer along they way, but do we have the right to play God and choose the suffering of others????????? God forgive us all for the choices we make and God help the children who will never be born because of the greed of thier parents….

LMFAO Taylor & Gaia — Yep, science is un-Godly!!! ;-)

You two KNOW I’m laughing at some of these commentators… !!! :-)

    • Fandb

Justine Bifano appears to be the only commentator who has “READ A BOOK” or at least done a little homework on the subject.

Adult and umbilical stem cells offer the most promising approach – there has been some success in this area. Embryonic stem cells have caused cancer in many cases – killing the patient as opposed to curing.

But all the mindless Obama-bots and liberal sheeple only see what they are told to see.

    • Glenn

I don’t know what all the fuss is about when these are left over cells that the birthing clinics are going to flush anyway to get rid of them. Why is there no big fuss about these birthing clinics destroying these cells? It seems to me that these self made christens don’t want to help their fellow man get cured.

    • William Teach

ESC research is basically a bone thrown to the left wingers who have created some mystifying panacea regarding the NEED to do the research, and have the government pay for it. If it was worthwhile, private industry would be all over it, but, since ESC research has not created any cures, treatments, or medicines that do not come with a laundry list of problems, usually revolving around teratomas (monster tumors), they do not bother, preferring instead to focus on adult, placental, and other stem cell types.

Interestingly, these same liberals pitch hissy fits anytime a cute fuzzy bunny has research done it in order to help human life, but, a human embryo? Ah, scr*w it. No big deal.

    • Fandb

Glenn – the issue isn’t the use of “birthing cells”, it is the use of living human fetuses.

This is another liberal smokescreen as William Teach touched on. The liberals use this issue to help rationalize the legality of ABORTIONS.

    • Tim

if it wasn’t so pathetic, the uninformed and uneducated remarks from these so-called moral religious fanatics would be laughable. it saddens me to think that with all the info available in this free country there could be such misinformed and quite frankly stupid people out there. if only the world could shake off the shackles of organized religion, humanity could move on and progress for the betterment of all. Its a shame that the biggest SCAM ever perpetuated on mankind will be with us til the end of our time on earth and most likely the cause.

    • Greenschemes

Tim did you know that it has been proven that the debate about stem cell research creates 36 percent more sales of Aluminum foil. That at least 18 percent more people have been seen wearing Tin foil hats and 9 percent more Americans are covering their windows with tin foil?

To remove the ban on stem cell research will most likely have a great impact on big business.

It is comments like yours who keep the big corporations from hiring more employess. We all know that it is a deliberate attempt by Reynolds aluminum to keep the country full of misinformed people so they can keep selling tin foil.

So stem cell research is actually what is causing the recession.

    • Mouse

The whole ‘some states have offered money to women for their eggs’ thing, I have a few views on. First, I wouldn’t take it because I can still get pregnant and have a baby but for women who are infertile or don’t want children, I think it’s a good option. Technically it’s not a baby yet, just a tiny lump of cells that we ovulate if not fertilized. So it’s not like it’s going anywhere but in the trash. Second, our bodies continuously make more until we hit Menopause so even if the woman donates only half, she’ll be full in no time and if she wants to get pregnant, she can since that seems to be a big issue.

The other thing I wanted to talk about was the ‘liberal smoke screen to rationalize the legality of abortions’. Truthfully, it doesn’t really matter if abortions are legal or illegal in the US. If a woman really wanted to get an abortion, she would travel over seas if she was wealthy enough. If not then any back alley will do. One way or another, it’s going to happen, now you can either make it legal and safe so more women don’t die from it in the alleys or in some dirty ‘hospital’ in Mexico or you can let every death settle on your ‘Pro-life’ mind.

And for whoever made that ‘But all the mindless Obama-bots and liberal sheeple only see what they are told to see’ comment, I wasn’t for Obama in the beginning. In fact, I hated him but this isn’t about who I did or didn’t vote for this is about stem cell research. I don’t blindly believe what I’m told. If I did, then would I still be here talking about this? If I was such an idiot, then I would side with you just as easily but I haven’t.

Last thing I wanna talk about is the commenter, I forgot his name, he said something about the value of life being what mattered. See, you always hear about the happy handicapped kids. The ones on the billboards and such that finish the miles even though they can’t button their shirt or something. You don’t hear about the ones who are depressed or commit suicide over their illness. Ones who can’t do anything for themselves because they’re blacked out all day and have seizures every five minutes. I know a little girl like that and I also know a little girl that has muscular dystrophy like the one I was talking about earlier. Her mom even smoked pot! She’s only seven and she can’t even lift her head by herself and you want to bitch and moan about women giving their eggs [which we ovulate every month anyway] to help her? See if you have the balls to tell her yourself and I’ll even give you a way to reach her. Go ahead.

    • Taylor Siluwé

Just imagine a world where every conception led to a birth – even in China with their one baby law. And lets say, even back alley style abortions don’t take place for whatever reason.

How many years would it take for people to begin killing each other for basic resources on our already overcrowded and heating up planet — 50, 30, 10?

    • Fandb

Great discussion everyone. Looks like all the liberal talking points have been mentioned. :-) Though none of the liberals have addressed the most basic point that Adult and Umbilical stem cells have shown promise, but most fetal stem cells have caused cancer and other problems.

(I’ll spell it out: …therefore there is really no reason to focus on fetal or embryonic stem cells. The money would be much better spent on other forms of stem cell research.)

(Another liberal tactic = never talk about the main point) !

Mouse – the discussion is not about eggs, it is about fetuses. The egg is a single cell. Stem cells form from a fertilized egg after it divides and becomes a human being.

“you can let every death settle on your ‘Pro-life’ mind.” – I will absolutely let every single one of those deaths settle on my pro-life mind, as long as you accept that the deaths of every one of the 1 million four hundred thousand plus ABORTED innocent human beings settle on your pro-abortion mind.

Also, you don’t need to lecture me about handicapped children, or adults for that matter. I have an autistic son who is 20 now. He is a phenomenal chess player and is now learning computer programming. People need to learn to be their own (and their childrens’ advocate) and take responsibility upon themselves, and then nothing but good will happen. If you want to send me your friends e-mail, I will be more than happy to provide whatever help, comfort, and hope that I can. But I will not change my principles.

Taylor – I do not now nor will I ever agree that the killing of innocents for the convenience of others can be justified in any way. If people cannot learn ways to control themselves other than through abortion, then the human race deserves whatever happens to it. Aborting babies – because we lack the self-control to keep it in our pants or use another reliable form of prevention – is a total and cowardly cop-out.

People have to take responsibility for their own actions rather than copping-out and killing their own children.

    • Taylor Siluwé

I agree, FAN — people need to control themselves and killing “babies” is harsh. The irony is that most the folks on your side of the issue also hate birth control, condom distribution and sex ed.

Yeah. The “keep it in your pants method” works really well.

    • Fandb

Taylor – “most the folks on your side of the issue also hate birth control, condom distribution and sex ed” – that’s a liberal urban myth. Granted there are “some”, but “most” conservatives do agree that various forms of birth control are the best way to control unwanted pregnancies. And that these are far preferable to abortion.

Actually, the “keep it…” method works 100% (the ONLY method that works 100%, even some abortions fail) but too many people are unable to control themselves enough to practice it.

    • Taylor Siluwé

“…too many people are unable to control themselves enough to practice it.”

Exactly. Duh. That’s why it works so well. People are programmed to screw – and no amount of fear-mongering from on high (or low) will ever stop them.

And liberals are against condoms and sex ed? LOL!! Look at you doing comedy on a Sunday. Maybe you can take over for DL Hughley Breaks the News on CNN. I hear he just got canned.

    • Fandb

I’d be careful about throwing around those “Duh”s if you can’t even understand my comment…

“liberal urban myth” = urban myth that is perpetuated by liberals, or liberals like to say that about republicans but it isn’t true (it is an urban myth).

Just trying to find a little common ground, but apparently liberals would rather just perpetuate their own bigoted points of view. Don’t let facts get in the way of liberal bias. They are convinced (by the MSM mainly) that they know how conservatives think, and even when they are proven to be wrong, they simply become incapable of understanding the discussion.

Products of our public school system, I guess.

      Duh.

    • Fandb

I guess Ann Coulter is right when she says that if you must talk to a liberal, talk slowly and use small words.

    • Taylor Siluwé

Throwing Coulter at me (or anyone) just proves your comedic ability. But I’m sure you know that already — as a great comic should.

      CNN still has that opening.

    • Mouse

      You want facts? Alright.

      1) Stem cells haven’t been explored enough to be ruled out completely. The egg thing I was talking about was in response to the guy somewhere up there that was accusing women of selling their eggs for money, so it does have a place on the discussion board.

      2) To be honest with you, I’m glad your kid can play chess and function to some degree. Jenna, my step sister, can’t do anything but talk. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to make anyone feel bad or exploit her illness, I’m just saying if Stem-cells had ANY kind of help for her I would do anything to get it to her as would any family member. I will most definitely carry the burden of all the dead ‘possible humans’ and I’ll do it while watching Jenna walk and run through the yard with the other kids.

      3) Death is death Fan. Weather it’s a baby or an adult it’s a death. Now it’s not a baby until the heart starts beating. Until then it’s a lump of cells that could save an already existing life and I’m all for it. I don’t like abortions and I think it’s wrong to kill a baby. I hate people that do it but hey, it’s going to happen weather you like it or not, legal or illegal. Why waste it when you could help someone, who is already living? The ideal of parents taking responsibility for their mistakes sounds pretty and nice but the truth is they don’t. It’s nice that you do but some kids don’t have the luxury of a nice father or mother and they have to live with that. Handicapped kids who can’t live without their parents are worse off than those with parents who take care of them. Give them a chance to be able to live on their own using something that’s going to happen anyway.

I’m not an extreme right or an extreme left. Each side has their good sides and their bad sides and I’ll argue with both until the day I die.

    • Fandb

OK Mouse, I do see your points. My biggest issue with your argument is that the greatest progress has been made with “adult” and umbilical stem cells. If we’re going to dump money, especially tax dollars, into research, we will most likely get our biggest bang for the buck in those areas. Experiments with embryonic cells have caused too many cancers and rejections and for that reason alone are not worth the risk, at least when there is an alternative that shows more promise.

“The ideal of parents taking responsibility for their mistakes sounds pretty and nice but the truth is they don’t.” – They don’t because they haven’t been taught to be responsible. Chances are their parents weren’t responsible so that’s what they learned. It won’t happen in a generation, and I agree that it is an ideal, but people do need to learn to take responsibility for their actions. That alone will solve many of the problems facing our nation and even the world.

(Also, to clarify (and maybe brag a little) – he doesn’t just play chess, he was the champion of his conference in high school and placed in the top 20 at the state tournament of well over 150 schools/1200 experienced players.) :-)

Best of luck to you and Jenna. I wish you both the best.

      F&B

    • Mouse

I see where your coming from Fan, I just think we should at least let it be tried some more as a possibility before we completely rule it out. Now, there’s problems but what if the scientists could use it to make something great?

Humans do need to be taught responsibilty but like I said, not every human understands this and you can’t fix the world, believe me. You have to do the best with what you have and hope to God that the mom debating the thought of abortion won’t go through with it.

Even though I don’t know your son personally, I am so proud of him. [Seriously, not trying to be all mushy but I am] He’ll be in my thoughts. ^__^ Best of luck to you both as well and thank you for you wishes.

    • Fandb

Thanks for the sentiment GTL. He is good at chess (and a few other things) but the autism is very real and pervasive. He would not be able to function alone in a college environment. The biggest issue is verbal communication – he will talk to his family but will not utter a word in most social situations. He is in a local community college now in a relatively controlled environment.

As I mentioned before, great discussion here even if we did get off the main point a little.

Since as best as I can manage from the fragments of comments I’ve been able to read, no one has brought up the salient point, allow me to do so. I don’t care where you get stem cells, just don’t expect me to pay for them. That is until there is a federal “Coors Beer” program, necessary as it is because of the ever shrinking supply of Rocky Mountain Spring water. ;-)

Just one more comment on embryonic stem cell research; just the fact that they so often turn to cancerous cells is a prime reason that they need to be studied. I’ll leave it at that.

Hi, Mouse. Glad to see you back.

    • Mouse

Thank you very much GC. Good to be back.

    • William Teach

That is an interesting point regarding ESCs turning to cancer so we need to study them, Gaia. What say we use embryo’s from primates, dolphins, and other animals first to investigate before using human embryo’s. That would be acceptable, right?
