There goes Mr. Soros again — “The sky is falling! The sky is falling!“, he’s yelling from the rooftops (Reuters). Well I have a bit of news for Georgie-boy: President Obama has just saved spared our great country of any further economical problems “opportunities” by signing Part II of the original Bush “Bailout” -slash- “stimulus” package called TARP “BURP II” and as a FIRM believer in the trickle down economics theory of The Party Of Lincoln the “police state party“, now all we’ve got to do is kick back and wait for all of those billions of dollars in BURP II money to trickle back down into our wallets. What we DON’T need now are a bunch of “doomsayers” like Soros during such a great time of rejoice and celebration.
But, you know what? Soros isn’t ONLY one yelling “The sky is falling! The sky is falling!” right now. Surprisingly, the ones who are yelling the phrase the loudest in the Blogospheres these days are the same right-wing bloggers who’ve previously espoused the trickle down economics theories of their hero, Ronald Reagan for years. Wow. I didn’t realize one could so blatantly have it both ways and STILL expect to be taken seriously about anything else they ever publish on their websites in support of so-called “conservative values”, yet, apparently that’s the way it works out here in “Political Blogger-Ville”.
For example, Michelle Malkin is busy rallying her right-wing fellow blogospheres troops into what she and they are terming “Tea Party U.S.A.” and she has enlisted the ranks of fellow anti-trickle-down-economics-Republican-(now)-”Mavericky”-bloggers as THE Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit, Rick Moran of Right Wing Nuthouse, Jules Crittenden, Don Surber and Dan Riehl of Riehl World View. WOW.
I’m so confused right now. These same pundits ; many of whom I consider to be “Blogospheres friends” who helped convince me I was “oh-so-wrong” for my previous disdain for the trickle down economics theory are throwing me for a loop here. The rich just got richer via BURP II and according to the “Right”, the rich are supposed to stuff all those bailout bucks back into our pockets I thought?
I think I need some straightening out on this one. I could never be more confused on which economics theory to buy into than I am right now. Should I be “tea partying” with the “Right” or should I be wizzing in my pants? I’m beginning to feel as if SOMEBODY was mislead here. Only question now is, was it myself or them?

Sorros may right, I hope he isn’t but I think we will know in a few more months.
I have noticed a lot more wailing from the right wing the last few days. Also seeing history revised which isn’t surprising. I wish they would realize that the reason both Obama and Clinton went after the Democratic nomination; because even a democrat in a chicken suit could have won the presidency in 2008. Hell, a headless chicken suit could have won.
Like the first Clinton said, “It’s the ecomony, stupid”.

Wow … ole Mike’s got some opinions dressed up in a leather jacket and sportin brass knuckles, doesn’t he. Actually, if you can bleep out the rough language, you might find a similar sentiment running though the veins of a lot of other folks in “fly-over country.”
And this guy George Soros is nothing more than a wealthy gasbag. And of course he’s got that “Chicken Little” thing going for him right now … but he thinks he OWNS the sky. In his “world” the economy IS going down for the last time because by comparison, he’s got a crapload of cash hanging in the balance. Some of us who have to work hard for our money hardly notice … we fight a dismal economy every day of our lives (so what’s the problem?).
Regardless of what you think about trickle down, and all kinds of other economic crapola, there ARE serious issues that we as citizens should be a part of … and some of them could be hidden behind the gun slinger rhetoric of many bloggers in this “Wild, Wild West” we call the blogoshere. Since it IS a free “marketplace of ideas,” let’s go easy on our shooting our own … they could very well be a part of the answer (kind of like Mikey above … you don’t mind of I call you “Mikey” do you?)

Things are serious. More serious than most of you can imagine at this point. Anyone who would continue employing the divisive partisan politics of the past is a part of the problem now, not part of the solution (if there is one).
More than ever before in the history of this country, it is time for all the individuals who consider themselves to be Americans to stand up and prepare to fight for what we believe in.
The game playing is over. Our country is on the brink of failure. We are about to fail the test that Lincoln spoke of in his Gettysburg address. Partisan politics is one of the causes. We all need to work together to get out of this intact.
The economy is in freefall. The breadlines of the Great Depression will look like a picnic in the park compared to what could be coming if Americans fail to act. “Stimulus” plans will not stop this – there is not enough money available in the world to prop up the U.S. economy. Conditions are worsening at such a rapid rate that we can’t even see the bottom yet. No one in Washington, Wall Street, or Main Street has a clue as to what needs to be done to solve the problems.
When asked what to do to survive this economic downturn, one economist replied “buy guns, and lots of ammunition.” We could be fighting each other before this is over, or we could even be fighting against out own military.
Fasten your seat belts. This thing is far from over.
