The “New And Improved Blackwater” Has Changed Its Name To “Xe”…

Call me a skeptic if you will, but I’m thinking there has been enough [ahem... "BLACK"]water under the proverbial “bridge” for some of their, allow me to be politically correct on this — “often-documented questionable dealings in Iraq” for anybody to fall for the ole’ “Who are these ‘Z’ guys? Perhaps, they are ethical mercenaries who will play by the book. Let’s give ‘em a chance!” trick. Then again, I’ve been wrong before and I assure you I’ll be wrong again. Guaranteed. Most likely not in this case though, were I a betting man, which I’m not.
On the other hand — new name, “new company” — I say give these guys a new chance to do things right. After all, weren’t our Founding Fathers in favor of the privatization of our military forces? Oops — wait — check that. Wrong again as usual, GTL™. My bad. Now that I think about it, the United States Constitution (Source: USConstitution.Net) dictated one of the FEW items federal taxes were to fund included “the national defense”. If I recall correctly, It also stated militias were to be “well regulated”, too, but then again — perhaps I missed again on that one. Is Blackwater “Z” well-regulated?
Perhaps, many Iraqis, including their government, who want them permantly BANNED from any further activities in their country might tend to disagree.

Anything our military needs done should be done by military personnel at military rates of pay. Period. If our diplomats need guards, well, that is what the USMC does, isn’t it? Need someone to ride shotgun for that convoy? Call in the boys (and girls) with the yellow bandanas and the red and white guidonnes.
For really special work, I’m sure that a Ranger or two, or maybe some Force Recons would be more than happy to oblige.
We need to back charge Blackwater for every time our military has had to go in and bail their asses out. At Blackwater rates. And the money goes to the grunts who risked their dollar an hour lives for the ten dollar a minute wanna be mercs.
Should a garbage pail by any other name smell as corrupt?
I never did understand why we needed mercs in Irag? but then, there are many things I don’t understand about Irag, such as: no bid contracts, going in there in the first place, staying after we got Saddam, Irag being more important than the birthplace of the Taliban, private contractors to do anything when half of Irag was unemployed.
And I’m not even part French.
Really!? Who are Z’s guys, n-e-wayz? Z lipstick or Z pig? Anyone?
Mwaaaahahaha.
COMMONTATER: Not quite sure what that meant but I laughed my ass off anyway, bro
