Finally, folks — we DO have “change” in Washington, a change we’ve all been waiting for. Our soon-to-be 44th president, Barry “Steve” Obama, has ridden into the District of Columbia on a TRAIN. That’s right — a TRAIN. Don’t believe me? Fine — read it and WEEP:
Obama Arrives in Washington After Train Trip
PHILADELPHIA — President-elect Barack Obama stepped onto a vintage train car, built at a time when a black man’s ascendancy to the presidency was impossible in America, and traveled to Washington on Saturday in a three-day prelude to his inauguration as the country’s 44th president.
As he did throughout his campaign, Mr. Obama evoked imagery of Abraham Lincoln, in word and deed, as he embarked on an abridged version of Lincoln’s journey by rail to the capital before his own inaugural festivities in 1861. The trip offered Mr. Obama, who on Tuesday will be sworn in as the first African-American president, a segue from celebrating his victory to confronting the daunting challenges that await him in office. …” — New York Times
The FIRST question one should be asking themselves is “Why a train? Should we take the traitorous mainstream media’s explanation to heart — that Steve-O was just trying to honor his well-known and oft documented hero, Ole’ Honest Abe? Or should we follow the money?”
That last question is the ZINGER for any individual who is capable of independent thought. Have a little bit of fun with this one, folks — and you MIGHT just find the hidden agenda behind this so-called “historic” train ride by our 44th president — SHOCKING GOOGLE SEARCH ON OBAMA AND TRAINS. What did you learn? Of course, the very FIRST result is… (drumroll, please)…
Here we go again, folks — the “train people” benefit while We, The Sheeple, fail to realize Steve has just advanced the “train agenda” for personal and political gain. Not to mention, right in front of us as we comfortably chew on our hay with our eyes wide SHUT…
Again — ALWAYS follow the money.

Oh, boy, back to the future. FDR? Harding? Teddy R.? How far back will he take us?
I think we all need to look at Obama as Egg Salad. White shell or brown shell doesn’t matter if you toss the shells away to make egg salad. I have my own opinion at Papamoka on it but that is a topic for another day on the media stuffing racism into our first African American President inauguration.
I think we need to look forward rather than back.
I agree, we need to go forward. But all his Lincoln worship REALLY has me worried. Lincolns predations on the Constitution make the PATRIOT Act look benign and gentle. At least Bush has that as a basis for his actions, “Honest” Abe just plain ignored it. Lord help us if he truely follows Lincolns example. And I STILL whan to know what Barry meant when he said that he wants a ‘civilian national security force’ that is a just as strong, just as powerful, just as well funded as the entire US military. Again, another frightening thought, especailly considering that that part was redacted out of all the officail transcripts of the speech he gave that mentioned that desire (Denver, 2 July, 08, I believe. You can find it on youtube at about the 16:40 mark of the entire thing. There are also shorter clips of just that part).
I hear ya, Joe — Lincoln had even LESS respect for the 4th than Cheney-Bush, Incorporated. Hope Obama doesn’t worship the guy so much he’s willing to FULLY follow every footstep GWB took. Then again, he’s a politician. I expect him to let me down :-/
Wait…you EXPECT him to let you down. So…if he doesn’t let you down..then..he’s letting you down, but…if he lets you down he isn’t??? My head hurts!
EEEEZAXLY!!! Everybody wins, Joe!
