I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again — neither Harry Reid OR his Democratic Senatorial buddies and buddettes have ANY Constitutional right to interfere with the LAWFUL appointment of The Freshman Senator and Attempted Murderer from Illinois, the ONLY U.S. Senator who could make claim to be younger than the senator from Arizona Panama; a.k.a., Señor Juan Sidney McCain.

As I’ve said before and I’ll repeat: Swear Senator Burris in NOW, then haul him off in handcuffs to take his rightful place in The CrossBar Hotel, sharing a cell with his buddy, Illinois Governor Rod “Blago” Blagojevich “The Cabbage Patch Kid“.

Tonight, The Politico begins the coverage of this episode with an article entitled “Burris may return to D.C. to demand seat“, followed closely thereafter by another one entitled “Burris gets OK from Illinois sec. of state“.

Of course, being a “pajama wearing doomass with a blog”, I can just picture the fun of watching Senator Burris being sworn into the Senate, then being dragged off of Capitol Hill in ‘cuffs for his willingness to allow our fellow [ahem... INNOCENT] Citizen, Rolando Cruz, to FRY on death row as THEN Illinois Attorney General despite PROOF-POSITIVE he was an innocent man and the “REAL killer” was a disgusting, 10-year-old girl-raping jacka$$ by the name of Brian Dugan in his run for the Illinois governorship against The Cabbage Patch Kid, just as a PSA reminder…

That is, at LEAST while he and his buddy, The Cabbage Patch Kid remain free and on the loose.

  Now now….. if we have to smoke an innocent person here and there to further the career of a dedicated public servant, well that’s just the way it is! I’m sure Roland was on a Chimpy-style “mission from God” that couldn’t be derailed by the admission of a mistake.

  GTL: “PROOF-POSITIVE he was an innocent man ” – The only proof involved here is that Cruz didn’t commit the rape. His involvement in the break-in, abduction, and possibly murder of Jeanine Nicarico is still in question.

  As I have been discussing with Susan on another thread, there was (and still is) a great deal of evidence implicating Cruz in the above. A co-conspirator to a crime bears equal responsibility for the crime under Illinois (and Federal) law.

  Rolando Cruz was anything but an “innocent man” as you put it. He deserved 10 times the punishment he received, in spite of the fact that he served his time being accused and convicted of crimes other than those he actually committed.

  The problem is that you all are apparently getting all your information from the internet, and probably from sites that were set up to address this particular case. Obviously, that’s just my hunch – I could be wrong, maybe you have pored over all the old newspaper reports and police filings and court documents . . . No, I didn’t think so.

  I’m no fan of Roland Burris, after all, he is a Democrat. Kick him out of there by any and all means and let’s have a special election in Illinois to fill the vacated seat. But don’t MIS-USE the memory of little Jeanine Nicarico to attempt to achieve your political ends. The girl and her family have suffered enough – but all you’re worried about is some two-bit street thug who MAY OR MAY NOT have been involved in her abduction and murder?

  I guess it would be out of character for a liberal to let the facts get in the way of his argument. He may have been IL attorney general at the time, but Roland Burris (Democrat) didn’t even prosecute the case.
