23% Of Our Fellow Americans Are Grieving At The Loss Of The Best President We've Ever Had Since Bill Clinton -- Give 'Em A HUG...

Dear readers, commenters and fly-by gawkers, a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey tells us the time has come for three-quarters of us to take notice whenever we see one of our depressed brothers or sisters with a “W The President” or “McCain-Palin” bumper sticker on the back windows of their eight cylinder SUV’s, we should follow them until they come to a stop, leave their vehicles, and offer them a wide-open armed, genuine hug. Whisper gingerly into their ear, “It’s gonna be alright, brother…” (or sister, whichever is most appropriate) “… Jesus is coming.” Believe it or not, that sad, hurt brother or sister will feel better after a long cry and you will feel better for calming him or her.

Yes, it’s hard to console those few amongst us who are yet to warm up to President-elect Barry “Steve” Obama due to the fact he is “The Antichrist”, as I proved to the world in an earlier column. This is great news; it’s prophecy, and it all takes us one more step toward the return of Jesus. That forlorn 23% amongst us will come to embrace “Steve” just as the rest of us have already done so one day in the near future, so it is our duty as not only Americans, but World Citizens, to help them to shortcut the inevitable as soon as possible.

Here is the wakeup call to those of us who are already THRILLED to be living in these prophesized days of Revelations:

Poll: 75% glad Bush is done

(CNN) — A new national poll suggests that three out of four Americans feel President Bush’s departure from office is coming not a moment too soon.

Seventy-five percent of those questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey released Friday said they’re glad Bush is going; 23 percent indicated they’ll miss him.

“Earlier this year, Bush scored some of the lowest presidential approval ratings we’ve seen in half a century, so it’s understandable that the public is eager for a new president to step in,” said Keating Holland, CNN polling director.

CNN senior political analyst Bill Schneider added, “As President Bush prepares to leave office, the American public has a parting thought: Good riddance. At least that’s the way three-quarters feel.” …

WOW. What a tragedy…

On second thought, perhaps a simple, heartfelt hug won’t do it. We may need to urge that 23% to seek help as well. Many of them might be needing viagra, paxil, xanax and a host of other remedies to help get them through these tragic times. Remind them that “Steve”, too, often pauses uncomfortably when answering questions from the mainstream media and more often than not, precedes his sentences with “Uhhh… ummm… uhhh…“, just like their hero, President “Surge” Dubya Bush does. They found that to be a “loveable” trait of their hero and if “sold” properly, they might find that to also be a “lovable” trait of “Steve’s” in the coming years…

Just a thought.
