The Latest From Blago-Gate: President-Elect Obama Contributed To The Downfall Of Crooked Illinois Governor

Barack Obama implicated by Republicans for relationship with disgraced Illinois Governor Rod Blago Blagojevich -- meanwhile Blago is enjoying his stay in the Crossbar Hotel...Barry Obama Made “Secret” Phone Call To President Of The Illinois Senate, Emil Jones Jr., To Reverse His Position On Illinois Ethics Bill To Take Dirty Money Out Of Politics, Resulting In A 50-0 Passage

Predictably, the Blogosphere is going wild with speculation about potential “ties” between Barry “Steve” Obama and disgraced Illinois Governor, Rod R. Blagojevich who was BUSTED trying to auction off Steve-O’s vacated Senate seat. Particularly on the “Right”, some folks are going out of their way to implicate Steve-O in the Blago-gate scam. Meanwhile, the real truth begins to emerge…

From The New York TimesMike McIntire and Jeff Zeleny (Editor’s Notewhy does it always take TWO or MORE MSM reporters to write a freaking report while it takes only ONE blogger? Could this be why MSM organizations such as the Tribune are going bankrupt these days? Just hire one GREAT writer and there will be no need for two or more for each report, I say):

“… Mr. Obama used leverage that he had seldom employed — publicly, anyway — and strongly urged Mr. Jones to bypass Mr. Blagojevich and approve the ethics bill, banning the so-called pay-for-play system of influence peddling in Illinois. When asked at the time how Mr. Obama had come to be involved, Mr. Jones replied, “He’s a friend.”

When the Illinois Senate passed the measure by 55 to 0 on Sept. 22, with Mr. Jones reversing his position, Mr. Obama praised the move as one creating “a tougher ethics law that will reduce the influence of money over our state’s political process.” Mr. Obama’s intervention deepened a rift between him and Mr. Blagojevich that had been growing for some time. …”

WOW, I say.

How “crooked” can one (oops, I mean “The One”) get? BUSTED, Steve-O. Hard to dodge this bullet, Mr. President-elect — You are guilty of aiding and abetting ethics reform; the very same ethics reform that contributed to the downfall of Blago. PLEASE don’t bring that sort of behavior to the White House, Sir. We don’t need no stinkin’ ethics on Capitol Hill, Mr. Obama.

Again, guilt by association. Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko, (“domestic terr’ist”) Bill Ayers, President “Surge” Dubya Bush, and now we can add Blago to the list.

A “shady character”, indeed.

“You are guilty of aiding and abetting ethics reform; the very same ethics reform that contributed to the downfall of Blago.”

If true – and its not – Obama would be the first messiah in history to contribute to the downfall of a politician using a law that hasn’t even taken effect yet.

The ethics law won’t be active until Jan. 1, 2009.

Gee – maybe he can walk on water too.

GTL: “You are guilty of aiding and abetting ethics reform; the very same ethics reform that contributed to the downfall of Blago.” – Now that’s just plain naive, or a state of denial.

The only reason Obama The Indonesian agreed to reform is because HE’S NOT IN ILLINOIS POLITICS ANYMORE!

Obama The Indonesian was always a fervent supporter of Blago, one of the first to support him in his run for governor. And Blago returned the favor when Obama The Indonesian made his run for U.S. Senate.

These two guys are like two peas in a pod and they have been for years. Along with their buddy Antonin Rezko (The Syrian), they were virtually inseparable until Obama The Indonesian made his run for the Presidency. Of course, now he’s trying to distance himself from his old pal – who wouldn’t.

Bear in mind though, the liberal god-king Obama The Indonesian has tried to distance himself from ALL HIS OLD PALS lately.

Notice any kind of a pattern here?

The country was duped into electing a con man who preached change to a bunch of starving infants. Now we’re stuck with a corrupt, lying, disloyal, un-patriotic, self-serving narcissistic egomaniac for the next four years. If the country survives that long.

count on that barry is up to his eye balls in this poop pit before it is all done, and rest assured that for the most part the media and the sheep will ignore it.

I’m wondering how Rod was so confident that he could parlay the Senate seat into a presidential appointment to the cabinet or an ambassaborship. How could he have gotten that idea? Just wondering.

Gosh, I thought F&B was describing Bush. But of course, no republican, anywhere, at any time has ever done anything wrong. Just ask Ted Stevens or the last republican governor of Illinois who is still in prison. Do you suppose that Obama was in his pocket too?

I guess we infants decided to vote for real change this time, a guy that we don’t want to have a beer with.

Blue, it is real simple “Ethics and politics don’t mix.” “There is no ethics in politics.” See? Now, you try it.

Gaia’s Child, the best example of a corrupt, power hungry Republican capon is Lincoln.
