Former Wal-Mart Director And Republican Activist, Sir Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton Deemed Front-Runner For Secretary Of State Job Under Barack Obama

Let’s Just Hope The Nation’s First Black Co-President Can Cut Down On Her “Shrillness” When Dealing With World Leaders If This Pans Out To Be True…

Is Sir Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton REALLY Barack Obama and Joe Biden best choice for Secretary Of State is the discussion of the day in the blogosphere...Okay, it’s no secret I’m no huge fan of our nation’s first black co-president, Sir Hillary Rodham Clinton, OR her potential predecessor, Bush Admin’s current Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. One thing both women have in common, aside from the OBVIOUS, is they share a hard-headed mindset and are reluctant to relent even when common sense called the need for a little bit of “diplomacy”, another is the fact Condi is a Republican and Sir Hillary, a relatively little-published stint as FORMER Republican activist.

Secretary of Education or some other cabinet appointment where her [psst... "alleged" body count] is unlikely to increase. That’s just THIS blogger’s oppinion, of course. Your mileage may vary.

From The Politico’s Mike Allen:

Hillary Clinton could be sec. of state

Several Obama transition advisers are strongly advocating Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) for secretary of state, a move that would create the ultimate “Team of Rivals” Cabinet, according to officials involved in the discussions.

President-elect Obama has narrowed the possibilities for secretary of state, and Clinton is among those being strongly considered, the officials said. Some even call her the favorite.

It is not known what Obama himself thinks of the idea. But the fact that it is being entertained within his camp shows how much things have changed in the months since he defeated her for the Democratic nomination in a protracted primary marathon. …”

Hmm. Why not Colin Powell? Why not my favorite, MAJOR 2nd Amendment supporting Democrat in the country, James Webb? Now THOSE choices would make some sense to MOI (and again, yep — I’m unapologetically and refuse to “surrender” the fact I am, INDEED, part French for those who haven’t caught that one yet). On second thought, I think I’m more inclined to favor Senator Webb for the Secretary of Defense “gig” since he is more likely than Sir Hillary to push for a quick exit from Iraq.

Oh well, it is what it is — President-elect Barry “Steve” Obama has legally and ingeniously won the presidency and it’s his call to make in the end, but to be frank, I have been hoping and praying for years we wouldn’t have to listen to four to eight years of “Shrillary” sound bites but it’s not looking too good for MOI right now, is it?

Please, PLEASE, President Obama — don’t DO it, Sir, for the love of Christ.

F**k Off, you ignorant a**hole. Keep your hating to yourself and do something positive in the world.

How about YOU do something positive in the world by not making yourself look like a complete jackass like “Dezi” has done? Just an FYI. Play nice, learn to read, learn to learn about the blog you are posting on or get the hell out. How’s that for “nice”?

Desi, I really do not think you are on the right site,

And, oh by the way, when I am called a bitch, I prefer Ms. Bitch.

Please tell me that you are not a supporter of Obama. He just doesn’t need your type of support.

Or are you a fifth columnist troll?

Now kids, everybody just “chill”! Everything is going to be OK. Now that we have a courageous, intelligent President, who is Half white, (…this, most haters and skinheads, seemed to be forgetting)and cares about all of us! The whole world can’t be wrong! And the GOP is real poor looser….after all they led to most despicable campaign, yet Mr. Obama was gracious to McCain! What I find real interesting is, that the GOP and a lot of “tough guys” are so afraid of an intelligent, smart woman, like Hillary, yet they just “loved” S.Palin, who sure as hell did not show much “brain power”!(…perhaps that was the reason??)

Dezi… WOW. Jeebus CHRISP, man… poke around the site a bit before jumping to such outrageous conclusions. If you did, you’d probably (and most assuredly WRONGLY) learn we are on the same side here. Why I say “assuredly wrong” is due to the fact we don’t really NEED a message like your own very under-thought, under-considered, HORRIFICALLY-worded so-called “rebuttal” to what’s commonly called “Satire”. Even though we’re SOMEWHAT on the same side of the issue (again — EXPLORE the site before making ignorant comments, please), you just helped take common-sense Liberalism back a few years.

PLEASE, Think, read, relax, learn to “sell” your ideas versus “bullying” others into accepting them, and you JUST MIGHT find you made a complete ass of yourself here at this website, which is famous for espousing LIBERAL values.

      Just an FYI, Sir. WINK*

Oh, and we play “nice” here. If you can’t play “nice” with my brethren and sisters from the OTHER side of the aisle, I’d prefer you simply move on to another site. We have a RIGID Commenting policy here and if you wish to o-PINE again here, I HIGHLY suggest you abide by the terms ;-) Or, move ON. Your decision, Sir :-)

This article is living proof that there are those writers who, by any standard, do need the protection of the first amendment, and also proof that being constitutionally protected does not mean that the article has any redeeming quality, social or otherwise.

Love it, Westsidedavid — I disagree with you to some extent, but THAT’S how we do it around here when we DO disagree on something. “K” and “Dezi” could learn a LOT from the way you just addressed your disagreement with this (apparently?) 100% liberal brother called The GTL. Well done, Sir. And PLEASE keep us in mind here for commentary from here on out :-)

As another commenter said, Clinton would have a lot to lose by taking Sec of State. I would much rather see her on SCOTUS. Powell would be good as he seems to still have tremendous respect around the world. I don’t know Webb. I do think that Obama is choosing a bit too many people from the Clinton years but maybe he doesn’t have that much choice. There are only so many people who can fill Cabinet posts and high level White House positions.

Your photoshop is delicious. That could be why Obama wants her out in front of him.

Is there a full moon tonight?

Why are Women candidates (Dem or Pub) in political positions bashed 1000% more than any Men candidates. Very sexist. How about we talk about Biden and how he will very likely be ‘running’ the show with Obama as just the figure head/orator? How come no mention of Biden and his support for the Iraq war or bailouts, ect? A little less sexual bias please.

Tix: I tried to thank you for your support back on the other site but evidently the blue gods of the ether decided my comment wouldn’t go through. There is no way in the world that I could be a white supremist with my heritage and my background. I had just forgotten how much can be read out of just two words.

I remember when JFK ran for president and his bashing. Many people in this country swore that we would be electing the Pope if we elected Kennedy.

Sam is right, women candidates are bashed more than men candidates. And they are asked questions that men would never be asked. But that is just part of the “women have to be twice as good to be considered as good as…”. But the world is becoming fairer.

I think that Obama is being very careful on whom he picks. I can see both the pros and cons on Clinton.

I don’t know if Hillary was challenged anywhere near the level of Palin. But then again, she hadn’t gotten that far. She was rough-housed, though. And when Hillary was tackled to the ground, it was kinda justified. Haha. Well, Palin too.

Do you think that women just try way too hard which makes them sometimes fall belly up? Or do you think we just expect them to be “energizers” rather than just regular people?

Very interesting thing to think about….

I say just block dezi out of this site. We come here to agree to disagree in a generally polite, often tongue in cheek fashion. To have someone expressing what is essentially my viewpoint in such a hateful illiterate post does my argument no good whatsoever. Go away dezi.

I read somewhere recently that there are less women in Americas political system than in any other modern democracy. Let’s fix that.

Well, Hillary’s position in the Senate allows her to OPPOSE Obama’s policies…so in a way I think this is just as much an Obama chess strategy along with Hillary’s standing in the world.

The last thing he needs is Hillary being a thorn in his side trying to pass along legislation.

It’s a political move being that this is politics. We’re discussing politics….but maybe the Democratic party should follow in the footsteps of Dick and Bush (both criminals). They are a fine example of the GOP along with McCain and Sarah Palin I suppose.
