“Jumpin’ Joe” Lieberman Still Believing He Is America’s Most Powerful Man, Coveted By All Sides Of The Political Spectrum, Threatens To Throw Democratic Interests To The Wayside If Dems Don’t Cave Into His Demands
“King Joe” (No, I’m not talking about “Joe The Plumber” here) has SPOKEN (Source: The Politico). Under NO circumstance will the world’s most patriotic man vacate his Committee chair over the brand-new, “small gub’mint” Republican-established Department of Homeland Security any time SOON — even if the equally amazing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) says it must happen.
In fact, “King Joseph” has it right — when a Democrat threatens to reach into your pocketbook and threaten a chair one holds for personal gain, an “Independent” such as Rabbi Lieberman has no choice but to crawl into bed with the Republicans — and that is basically what “Jumpin’ Joe” is threatening to do should Senator Reid follow through with his “hint” that it MIGHT just be a good time for “King Joe” to free up a little more time to spend with his family and friends by finding a “real job” outside of what our Founders had always intended to be a part-time job; i.e.; serving in the Hallowed Halls of Congress.
Meanwhile, Minority Leader (Another newly-established gub’mint title, by the way) Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky), is all too ready to shower “King Joseph” with money, power and glory should the Dems follow through and fire him from the coveted job of holding that huge bag of taxpayer money he holds in his sweaty, pasty palms. My advice to “Jumpin’ Joe” — DON’T DO ANYTHING until Sean Hannity has advised you properly. Not only is he your only biggest fan; the man has “gravitas”. I’m not sure what that means but it was fun to type that word for the first time in my life.
Nobody understands more than I what Joey L. is going through and who can blame him? After all, we ALL sell our time to an employer and/or entity in exchange for money and why should anybody expect King Joey to be any different? We’re not hypocrites, are we? The man’s there (In the Senate) to sell his time to the highest bidder, as is the case with myself when it comes to my relationship with my Fortune 500 employer and if you were to find fault in that, I’d say to YOU: “So what? Get a life! Don’t read too much into this — it’s common sense!”
And I do believe that is all King Joseph is doing right now. And as his fellow, taxpaying American Citizen, I applaud the man for holding out for the best handout our gub’mint is willing to give him.

Yeah, it isn’t like he is a short timer like Biden. heck Biden was just getting started in the upper house. Unlike Boltin’ Joe who is in the 4th term. Mercy, that is a long time. Long enough to make him think he should vote his mind rather than toe the DNC party line. Shame on him.

Screw the DNC and GOP — TERM LIMITS for ALL Senators and Congressmen/women NOW

GTL,
I’m with you on this one. King Joe and about 80% of his fellow senators (I may be generous with the %) needs to be shown the door and replaced with Libertarian and Constitution candidates (and ok, maybe a wacko Green or two from the left coast – see I’m a bridge builder).
So disappointed in South Carolina that one of King Joe’s buddies “big gov’t” Lindsey Graham wasn’t shown the door.

Here’s an idea. Why don’t we start drafting Congressinal representatives instead of electing them, like jury duty.

AMEN again, G!

I’ll go along with the “send ‘em all home” sentiment, but not a draft. Most republicans couldn’t handle the pay cut

I always knew Republicans were overpaid.

This is the type of liberal illuminati who gives politicians a bad name. They need to all be replaced.
