Right-Wingers Fall For Michelle Obama Hoax
On this day of presidential debate III, right wing bloggers fell for a huge hoax today — a blog called African Press International (API) claims Michelle Obama called them to give them a piece of her mind race-laden tirade concerning their lack of positive coverage of her hubby, Barry.
In other words, this would be about as likely as Cindy McCain calling MOI (and again, yes, I am part French) and chewing my buttocks for a half-an-hour about constantly calling her hubby Señor Juan Sidney McCain of Arizona Panama, or better yet, for writing about how she and her hubby from South America engineered a sneaky divorce from his first wife, a natural-born U.S. Citizen by the name of Carol McCain. In other words; ain’t… gonna… HAPPEN.
But guess what? The righties in the Blogospheres, fearing another Juan Sidney McM loss in tonight’s debate to Barry Obama, jumped all over the story. They read it on a blog so it must be true — RUN with it, they said. And run with it they did, while hours later, the so-called “API – Michelle Obama interview” was completely debunked as a hoax. Jake Tapper of ABC News’ Political Punch blog, most certainly no “lefty” himself tried to calm the conservative bloggers down by offering the facts as well as National Review Online‘s “The Corner“.
But hey, I have some GREAT news for the righty bloggers who were wishing and-a-praying that bogus interview was for real. Hang in there. I’ve got some great news for ya’ll — Ms. Obama is even stupider than than the (so-called) “Ms. Obama” in the API (so-called) “interview” as you shall soon enough learn. Again, it gets back to that “GOP insider” friend of mine who is WAY up the Republican “food chain” — as in a higher up than Karl Rove sorta way. Just remember you read it here FIRST, just like you read it here FIRST, months before my former classmate from Wasilla, Sarah “Barracuda” Palin was named Señor McCain’s running mate, she and he were getting pretty “chatty” with each other.
Oh, speaking of those “Insider Predictions“, in regards to tonight’s debate, Juan Sidney is hard to predict. Even at least one of his top advisers says he’s “a dumbass who doesn’t listen to a damned word anybody tells him“, including his handlers. So, let’s not exactly call this a “prediction”; let’s just say I can tell you what his TOP advisers are trying to coach the hard-headed old Panamanian-born codger to do tonight.
While Mike Allen of The Politico is reporting many of his top advisers are “divided” on whether or not Panama Juan should bring up the topic of Reverend Jeremiah Wright tonight, should Juan listen to his TOP “top adviser” (as in way below the radar screen “top”), he will NOT be bringing up the topic. After all, there are plenty of questions and potential rebuttals Barry Obama can toss right back in his face regarding Señor McCain’s OWN self-professed “spiritual guides”. Let’s just say Panama Juan doesn’t need to go there — these guys make Wright look like a moderate. Then again, remember — he’s “a dumbass who doesn’t listen”, so again — it’s not a “prediction”. Barry “O” will be more than ready for such a doomass move, believe me.
Other things a sane person can expect from tonight’s debate; again; if The Panamanian Psychic LISTENS to his handlers — remember, Barry Obama has been daring Juan Sidney to “say it to my face” regarding Señor Juan Sidney’s constant attacks on Barry “O” regarding his so-called “ties” to William Ayers, Reverend Wright, and Tony Rezko. Tonight, he WILL address the “Ayers” issue and the “Rezko” issue but SHOULD stay away from the “Wright” issue. And Juan Sidney’s handlers are worried about how that’s going to go, by the way. They KNOW Barry has prepared his own rebuttals to all of the above and they’re not so sure if Juan will be taking their advice (Juan opened his mouth; Barry said “say it to my face”; now his manhood will be in question if he doesn’t step up — Even Sarah Palin agrees — Source: ABC News).
Want a prediction; a real one? Here it is — the tie goes to Barry O-Bomber tonight. We shall see though. Open comments for all readers — give your takes and opinions in the comments section here.

Other noteworthy bloggers o-pine: Kyle E. Moore of Comments From Left Field — I swear to God, I just read it and this guy’s on the same wavelength I am; Allahpundit of Hot Air (Right) says API’s sticking with their story, so apparently he is too; John Cole of Balloon Juice reminds us all that Johnny Cash never really did kill a man in Reno just to watch him die…

OMG!!..I just had to be objective for tonight’s debate. *sigh* Because of this stupid move, and because I also decided to post snippets (or “pearls of wisdom” some might say).. b-b-because of all this posturing, I will be deemed the ‘nets dumb*ss of the century. I called the winner of tonight’s debate *holding nose* as John McCain. I know, I know..
*duck*
haha….I guess the definition of “win” has changed or something.
McCain had a meltdown…especially at the end with snorting laughter…Desperate Man indeed.
Although, Obama didn’t have his strongest night, he looked more presidential and the voters of tonight’s debates voted felt Obama won also. Even on Fox, the panelists felt Obama won at the end…FOX of all TV stations! lol
Whew. You had me scared for a moment there. I saw that article first thing this morning, and thought, “I need to wait on this”.
Do you know I live just 15 minutes away from Hagee’s (sp?) church? I get this chill up my spine every time we pass his church.
Anyway, I think McCain sounded a bit stronger than usual tonight, but Obama took the lead again (in my opinion) due to his ability to have a healthy balance of being both professional and firm.
Hey, if anyone wants to follow me on twitter, I’m right here spilling my rhetoric.
@Tix!! Just have to say I luv your Twitter “handle” Sarcastina, lol. Good one.
Still did not watch a debate as I still do not have a TV.
But as far as right wingers believing in hoaxes I would say yes of course!
All my right wing friends and relatives have been emailing so many urban legends about Obama that I had to forbid people from emailing me, the right wing mind set is ripe for hoaxes, myths, urban legends, and things that gives their ego some mental masturbation.
What a surprise! All the lefties think Obama won! I humbly disagree, of course. McCain thoroughly kicked Obama’s butt and then mopped up the floor with him. But we’ll see what happens in the polls over the next few days. I think ‘Joe the Plumber’ will become a huge albatross around Obama’s pencil-sized neck.
Last time I saw the numbers, Fox News poll showed 87% McCain, 12% Obama. CNN poll showed 59% Obama, 39% McCain. Another shocker!
Joe the Plumber for President!
Obama won that debate hands down. Snarling, condescending, teeth grinding McBush needs to go away. Panama is lovely in November…
ROTFLMAO Aww… well, sure.
Oh, by the way, Joe the Plumber isn’t even registered to vote! LOLOL
Tix!!-True, but that won’t be as important as the ‘substance’ of Joe’s conversation with Obama, during which the antichrist Obama revealed his true socialist agenda for taxation.
Apparently Obama believes that a $250,000 business is a “large” business and should pay a heavy tax burden. Most people who own $250K businesses are just getting by.
He’s not talking about $250,000 in revenue, he’s talking about whether the business person takes home $250,000 from their business, and if they do, it’s time they stepped up to the plate and helped support the country that’s been supporting them. Would you have the equal taxation for all that led to Shay’s rebellion 220 years ago. I read the other day that the wealthiest 1% of the people in this country own more than 90% of everything but only pay about 60% of the taxes. That’s fu(ked up. In just a few more weeks we won’t have to hear Palin’s grating, annoying, whining, bitching, lying, nasal voice anymore! OBAMA!
Not true girardia, he is talking about taxable income from the business, not how much the owner(s) take home. In the case of a sole proprietorship, the owner would receive the net income from the business but if he incorporates his income will be lower and he will be subjected to double taxation (the business will pay taxes and then he will pay taxes on his wages).
I stand corrected.
Hey FandB, I am just curious, from your point of view what is the definition of “just getting by?”
Hey GTL, once again you mention the Michelle Oct. surprise yet to come. Without saying what it is, although I wish you would, does the Obama campaign already know? It can’t be THAT big a secret, people like to whisper you know.
Left Coast – another way to describe it would be “living paycheck to paycheck”
Wow, if that’s the definition you should see how “just getting by paycheck to paycheck” translates into some pretty nice lifestyles in Calif.
LC — I’m really sorry I cannot say more at this time. When I break the trust, I no longer have a top-ranking GOP insider giving me hints. I will say this however; no, to the best of my knowledge, the Barry “O” camp doesn’t know about it yet. Unless they read this blog, that is, and are “think-tanking” their way through it
I must admit that McCain won the Alfred E. Smith laugh off. If he had been half that good in the debates he could probably be tied in the polls again. Sorry to see him go…..not.
Yeah, it was great to see both men being gentlemen with a sense of humor for once. Thought it was a tie, but glad to see they both can laugh at themselves…
Howdy GTL,
If it’s taped or many pages of documentation there is a good chance they know about it and have a response already from what I’ve been told…but then again maybe it’s some “other” tape or document that have slipped passed them…time will tell!
Personally, the more JMac attacks the further down he goes in the polls…
Just like I predicted the McCain meltdown in the 3rd debate I predict a boomerang effect on this Michelle deal…even though it looks really good to bring it up, I think it will be counter productive again.
See, every time McSenile is nice or funny on TV (as with the charity event last night), his poll numbers raise. And they did.
We’re screwed. Obama’s not going to win.
Or am I just being a typical pessimistic liberal?
There won’t be a landslide but we’ll be OK. Grampy McCrankypants is unable to remain nice for more than half an hour at a time, although he really was funny the other night.
I think the current polls reflect the 3rd debate effect, they were taken before the Alfred E. Neuman … errrr … Smith dinner last night.
I have to agree with girardia again (dammit)… McCain was hysterical, the whole room was in stitches. Obama was OK but not as funny as McCain, he couldn’t seem to get the timing right. (Except the one about Mayor Bloomberg and Bill Clinton, that was pretty good.)
I think future campaigns should have roasts instead of debates!
Well, I’m talking about the ones on CNN this morning.
It’s worrying me a bit how much we’re agreeing F&B. Bring on the roasts!
Tix, even when they total the votes from all the really stupid people who vote GOP with the ones who vote that way to benefit from their corruption, it’s still not going to be quite close enough for them to rig it.
Wow what a bunch of mindless ranting! girardia, A business with $250k in revenue doesn’t “take home” $250k-businesses, like everyone else, have expenses. If you tax more of the $250k then a business MUST cut expenses and that often leads to layoffs. If you think for two seconds you’ll realize thats why there are layoffs during recessions. Obama will hit businesses TWICE as hard because now they will have extra taxes to go with less revenue. COMMON SENSE! Oh and the comment “it’s time they stepped up to the plate and helped support the country that’s been supporting them” is a lazy liberal thought. A business owner is supported by NO ONE BUT THEMSELVES! If they call in sick the business doesn’t run. If they spend too much or too little on advertising, employees, or any other expense the business dies. I know liberals think being rich is akin to winning the lottery-being lucky- but the vast majority of the rich work harder than the average person. Remember you don’t always get what you want- but everyone gets what they deserve.
Aside from running your own business (especially if it’s a small business), the hardest working people in the US generally get paid the least.
Gee, common-nonsense. I guess if I just stopped to think for two seconds I’d become a conservative. I didn’t realize the business I own had expenses. I thought that if I make a sale it was all profit. For a moment there, I thought I was laying people off because revenue was down. I now know it was my fear of Obama. Even though I’m partially disabled, running my own company that provides a couple of part time jobs in my small, impoverished community, and still working for several employers when they need a hand, I mange to attend school full time with a grade point average in the high threes, apparently I’m lazy because I’m a liberal. I’m sure those guys on Wall street that make a thousand times what I make work a thousand times as hard as I do.
I think a lot of people miss the point completely. We already have a progressive tax scheme set up, so people making more money pay more taxes and at some point pay a larger percentage. The very PREMISE that increasing someone else’s taxes is good for the “economy” and “job creation” and “small businesses” is flawed. If you are against the death penalty and I get you to argue with me about which method is better: lethal injection, hanging, or firing squad, I have won the argument. I’ve moved you into my forum and you can’t win. The same applies to the argument about any dollar figure for more taxes, whether or not they are expenses and so on. They’ve made you to argue on their terms and you can’t win. “Big Government” thrives on it. Argue about different “programs” and you’ve lost the argument that Government shouldn’t be in the business of any “programs”. The same applies to about 90% of what our Federal Government has taken on. We lost the argument a long time ago.
The era of “the end of the era of big government” is over. It’s time for massive increases in government spending. Trickle down bulls4it voodoonomics has been disproven every couple of generations since the mid 1800′s. The invisible hand of the market does not magically solve problems. Some things are done better by government, and although I must admit it’s a little depressing, this inefficient, unresponsive behemoth is the best one the world has ever seen, and it can be far more effective at some accomplishing some societal goals than unbridled capitalism. The idea that tax money just disappears is flawed, unless it’s being squandered on a bogus war for oil and military contracts. When money is invested into America in a thoughtful and focused way the returns are manifold, and the vast majority of the undertakings are contracted to private enterprise. We can move our industry and lifestyle towards sustainability and away from the decline resulting from the greed based laissez faire nightmare of the last quarter century brought to us primarily by corrupt Republicans. The country is about to take a sharp turn to the left. Get ready for it and get over it.
I agree AGAIN with girardia, that the country is about to take a sharp turn to the left… I only *HOPE* there is a country left to save when the far left-wingers get voted out in the next election.
*PRESIDENT PALIN* will have her work cut out for her in 2012.
Anyone who thinks Reaganomics didn’t work wasn’t paying attention, or just didn’t understand what was going on. At least President Clinton had enough sense not to mess around with the economy Reagan and his team set up. As a result, he was able to ride the Reagan economic boom all the way through his term.
