Watch Out, Tucker Bounds — If Billy K. Has His Way, You’re HISTORY…
In his New York Times op-ed, the title and the first sentence of William Kristol’s piece reads:
Fire the Campaign
By WILLIAM KRISTOL
It’s time for John McCain to fire his campaign. …”
Then, as usual, Billy K. goes into a well-thought-out, long-winded essay on why Sarah Palin’s sidekick from Arizona Panama should heed his advice and dump the majority of the Señor McCain Paŕa Èl Presidenté Campaign staff. Many would agree with Billy K., however; there is just one minor problemma with the concept:
“McCain’s a dumbass who doesn’t listen to a damned word anybody tells him” – [Paraphrased]
Where did you read or hear those words, you might ask. The answer is — nowhere. Here. On this blog. Where did they come from? From a man who is like an uncle to me in many ways; a man from the other side of the political spectrum, yet a man who is near and dear to my heart. The man is a very high-ranking GOP “insider” who speaks with and advises Sarah’s sidekick on a regular basis as well as with President “Surge” W. Bush and many others, including President Ronald Reagan. So, yeah — I think the guy knows what he’s talking about. The only thing I’ve got on this guy is the fact that I actually know The Barracuda and her “first dood”, Todd, which he seems to ever-so-slightly envy.
What Panama Juan Sidney McCain, Sarah’s sidekick needs to do is reverse the ticket immediately if that can legally be done. The world’s enamoured by The Barracuda and tired of the hostile, flip-flopping, nasty old “war hero” and his Double Straight Talk Express. If Señor Juan Sidney M. wants to get close enough to even get a whiff of the Oval Office by defeating Barry Obama and Joey Biden, this would be my advice to him:
Palin-McCain.

wow…I’ve been saying the same thing on your blog all along…I agree with your insider friend, even though McCain would never let that happen.
Having said that, Sarah isn’t out of the clear yet I don’t think with all the heat coming down…could be wrong. Her argument of being transparent and new politics has taken a hit I think.
McCain meltdown during the 3rd debate is still a possibility
