Two Days, Two Separate FoxNews Anchors -Slash- Analysts Call Upon The Señor J. Sidney McCain Campaign To Stop The Lies And Clean Up Their Campaign — Karl Rove Yesterday; FoxNews Babe Megyn Kelly Today
That’s right, folks — when the New York wing of the White House press corp, FoxNews turns on the Señor Juan Sidney McCain Para Èl Presidenté Campaign for running on blatant lies, he might consider cleaning up the McCain-Palin “Different Kind Of A Campaign” we were promised. When even [psst -- "alleged"] GOP criminal Karl Rove himself says enough with the lies, that should have been Señor J. Sid of Arizona Panama’s first clue, which he ignored entirely.
When he sent his campaign spokesman, Tucker Bounds in the next day to FoxNews the NY White House press corp to lie some more and my MSM “heartthob” (now I know why if I didn’t before), Megyn Kelly tears into him like “stink on [insert your favorite noun here]“, that should be his FINAL clue to CLEAN IT UP AND START TELLING THE TRUTH.
Instead of giving you the snippets — you can get those at Think Progress — I’ll just hack their YouTube video for your enjoyment:
You know, it’s not like Barack Obama and Joe Biden are “choirboys”, but they’ve truly run their campaign as “gentlemanly” as possible thus far, at times, much to my dismay. But listening to Juan Sidney and Sarah Barracuda Palin going on and on and on about how the Obama-Obiden camp wants to raise taxes on the middle class when they full-well know it isn’t true is getting quite old. Like Megyn Kelly advised her guest as he lied through his teeth, why not simply attack their populist principle with competing conservative principles versus outright, blatant lying about what their competing candidate’s vision of America? After all, BOTH philosophies have their plusses and minuses as far as most independent and moderate voters will agree.
But nope — Señor Juan Sidney McCain keeps digging himself in deeper and deeper by the day by lying through his teeth and if it weren’t for Señora Barracuda, he’d be lagging behind Barry O-Bomber by thirty points right now. And as for his running mate, Sarah Palin, I’d advise her to stop playing that “Thanks but no thanks to that bridge to nowhere” crappola, too, or even she shall become a liability to the Señor Juan Sidney McCain Para Èl Presidenté Campaign since the American People are well-aware it was “Thanks THEN no thanks”. She also loves her earmarks (Source: Wall Street Journal) as much as any other tax and spend Republican does, too, so I expect all of this to eventually catch up to this McCain-Palin pair if they don’t start playing it straight with my fellow Citizens, which brings up one last point…
“He’s a celebrity!!!“, screamed Juan Sidney at the top of his lungs in one of his first non-issue-related attack upon Barry. Now, his running mate is a certified “celebrity” if there ever was one and guess what? That’s right — Señor Juan Sidney McCain couldn’t be more pleased to be running for the highest office in the land with a celebrity. I guess that makes him a hypocrite as WELL as a lying sack of [insert your favorite noun here], does it not?
Don’t get me wrong on the latter point, by the way. As a former classmate of both Sarah and Todd Palin, I couldn’t be prouder to see a couple of small school, small town classmates of mine rise to the level of “stardom” accomplishment they have to this point. On the other hand, I believe both of my acquaintences from junior high and high school can understand the fact it’s nothing personal with me — I’m glad to see they’re celebrities now — but that DOESN’T mean I agree enough with their governing ideas to be excited about paying their light bill in the East Wing of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for four to either more [Bush] years either. Yet, clearly, I do wish the Palins the VERY best of luck in everything ELSE they ever aspire to attain — sincerely.

Other bloggers o-pine — some of my favorite reactions -slash- “snippets” (do yourself a favor and read in their entirety, please):
“… Bounds probably never expected Megyn Kelly to confront him with reality, or to call him out on his mendacity. If the McCain campaign’s dishonesty is even turning off Fox News, the “McCain lies a lot” narrative may be taking root after all.”
“… The Straight Talk Express ran off the road a LONG, LONG, time ago. …”
“… Maybe this is the McCain campaigns unemployment solution- lie so much that an army of fact checkers is needed to keep up with all the bullshit. …”
“… could it be that even some Republicans are cottoning on to the fact that a McCain presidency is not in their—or their viewers’—interests? …”
“… let’s not get ahead of ourselves. This is just one host. It’s not like O’Reilly and Hannity, or Hume and Kristol, are calling out the McCain campaign. …”
“… one of the most remarkable things has been that Fox News has now repeatedly been exposing lies from the McCain campaign. Apparently they have become so dishonest that even Fox News finds it impossible to ignore this. …”
“… Tucker Bounds is clearly thrown off balance by a line of questioning he surely never expected to get from a Fox reporter.”
And now, for our beloved “Righty readers”, we offer a couple of counterpoints for you…
“… An interesting counterpoint occurs to me: has Think Progress and the rest of the Nutroots ever heard MSNBC, CNN, cBS, ABC, NBC, and the rest of the liberal MSM, rip on Barack Obama? No? Holy fruitcakes, Batman! …”
“… There’s ample room to criticize McCain… Going far enough in challenging Barack Obama is not one of them, Mr. Rove. …”

I had foolishly hoped that the Democratic and Republican candidates would run a better class of campaign this year, mostly because they said they would. However, I’m willing to cut Panama John a little slack, for a couple of reasons:
1) Ever since some rocket surgeon at the Obama campaign decided NC was “in play”, we have been subjected to moderate to heavy Obama ads. Not a single one has been a “positive” message, and needless to say, they play pretty fast and loose with the facts. The net result is that I’m wondering who switched the June Sen. Obama with his evil twin.
2) The McCain campaign has to overcome the tsunami of Legacy Media negative coverage. With blatantly biased stories coming the “Broadcast” networks and every newspaper and “news” magazine, the McCain campaign probably felt that a little turn-about was fair play.
I’m reminded about why I hadn’t planned on voting for either of these goobers. For me, it’s just like the last two elections. I never voted for George Bush, but I voted for Dick Cheney twice.

You say that the claim Obama will raise taxes on the middle class to be a lie. In actuality, it is not. Just where do you think the corporations (and the rich) get the money to pay taxes? Thats right – from the middle class and the poor. Corporations are not tax payers, they are tax collectors. The very rich are able to pretty much set their own income. If their taxes go up, they simply raise the salaries they pay themselves. It is the consumer that is the ultimate tax payer.
Most of the government revenue comes from “hidden” taxes tacked on to the ordinary products we all buy.

Politicians have always played pretty fast and loose with the facts but the McBush/Palin team is flat out lying about every single issue in their campaign. They are basically not telling one kernel of truth, in anything. I always wonder whether the bulk of the righties are so disconnected from reality that they believe all this Republican garbage, or whether most of them just wrap themselves in the flag to cover up for the fact that they don’t give a damn about America or anyone or anything but themselves, and are just in it for their own gain. Trickle-downers that tell us that somehow, the more they grab for themselves, the more everyone will have. So called Christians that rejected Jesus’ “turn the other cheek” advice and supported a pre-emptive strike in Iraq, which every informed American knew was based on sheer lies, kind of like the McShame campaign. People who think that the wandering, long-haired, dark-skinned, hash smoking and wine drinking anti-establishment liberal Jesus wouldn’t just slap the shit out of todays hypocrytical conservatives. If you’ve ever driven by a hitch-hiker you are going to hell!
When Rove calls you out on your lies, you should put your country first and swallow a hundred sleeping pills.

I love watching the liberals squirm and spin
Regardless of NOW’s position, McCain has gained ground considerably among women voters in general, taking about 15+% away from Obama.
(Gotta watch out though, when you start lying about and misrepresenting Jesus Christ, you’re just askin’ for trouble. I really, really doubt that Jesus would be a hash-smoking, pro-abortion liberal. Dream on.)
I agree that Jesus would probably be anti-establishment (within the limits of his own teaching that we should ‘give to Caesar that which belongs to Caesar’), most likely equally opposed to all political parties.
Most Americans, nearly all of us, don’t want the country to be run like an out-dated, out-of-touch hippie commune. America is all about rewarding people for their hard work, effort, innovation, moral character, and perseverance. If you want to get ahead in this country, work hard, educate yourself, work even harder, innovate, create, and persevere and you will get ahead. If you don’t, you don’t have to, you’ll still get whatever trickles down.

George Bush has hurt the United States of America more than Osama Bin Laden ever did. From his Failure to Avenge America from 9/11 to his incompetence in New Orleans. Now our Economy is back to the Great Depression Era. The GOP shoves some senile lifetime Senator in front of the Public and demands that we trust it. GOP can’t win wars, GOP can’t handle the Economy,GOP doesn’t care about the People. GOP = American Al Qaeda.

Voting GOP this time around isn’t just stupid, like it’s been in the past, now it’s treason!
