Panama John Goes To Battle With The Mainstream Media Over Sarah Palin Questions

Howard Kurtz, in his piece in The Washington Post Entitled The War Against The Press, reveals a “behind the scenes” (that is, until today) tirade being launched by Señor J. Sidney McCain of Arizona Panama’s campaign against the so-called Left Wing MSM. Of course, this simply adds to yet another of MANY “unwinnable wars” Panama John is all for waging, including but not limited to the war in Iraq, the War Against Drugs, a war against Russia, the War on Terror and the war on the 1st Amendment courtesy of McCain-Feingold and the war on pornography, of course, as is EVERY G.O.P. member.

John Sidney McCain launches another unwinnable war due to Sarah Palin coverage - the war against the left wing mainstream media to be won NLT november...The issue? The MSM’s tabloid journalism in regards to Señor J. Sidney McCain’s controversial veep pick, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. They’ve been on Sarah since the day she was announced as we all know: “Troopergate”, “Preggersgate”, “First Dude, Todd Palin’s 22 Year Old DUI-gate” and on and on and on.

The trouble is, if the allegations in the first two “gates” should turn out to be true, although it appears “Preggersgate” involving the Palins’ daughter, Bristol, has already been thoroughly debunked and the “Troopergate” currently under an official investigation as we speak; it would qualify as genuine “news”; “news” of the variety our Founders bled to protect; i.e., Freedom of The Press. Instead, as the Kurtz article points out, the MSM is putting on a clinic for those who wish to become bloggers themselves by acting as tabloid “blogs” by going after the Palin children and even the “First Dude”, Todd, for a DUI he was charged with when he was a twenty-two year old young man.

And folks, please do not make the mistake of believing this is my point of view due to my personal acquaintence with both Sarah and Todd Palin either. Fair is fair and do not forget: Barry Obama and even Joe Biden agree this is a bunch of “bunk” as well.

Anyhoo — the problem is twofold for the Elder Statesman elderly Señor — first, you can’t beat the MSM — YET, but we’re working on it and so are they by displaying their classless regard for what they now consider to be “relevant news”, and second; it highlights the Senator from Arizona Panama’s quick-draw, so-called “maverick” tactic of shooting first and asking questions later. Anybody reckless enough and stupid enough to seek the highest office in the land who draws both guns and begins rapid-firing into the MSM crowd just two months away from the general election deserves NOT to win your vote, that is, unless you wish to see this lack of judgment being displayed in our foreign policy toward those nations we have some serious “issues” with.

There are two good things to come of Señor J. Sidney McCain’s war against the MSM for those of us who, A) Don’t much appreciate what the MSM has become and the direction they’ve been taking this country, and B) Don’t much appreciate the idea of a “Panama John” running this country — they’ve BOTH taken a major step backward in their (A) coverage and (B) reaction to their coverage of one imagined “Palin scandal” after the other. The former has fully evolved toward tabloid journalism while the latter has evolved into a caricature of a caricature of onesself. The former has demonstrated his inability to make rational decisions and BOTH have made jokes of themselves.

So, did you see where they pulled down my website last night, GTL? Must have been my post about Palin’s pregnant teenage daughter. What do you think?

How’s that for censorship, folks?! My website, PopUpCommontater, is GONE! Yup. Vaporized.

    • The GTL™

Didn’t catch it, commontater — however, I wouldn’t put ANYTHING past these PUKES. This site is missing ALL archives between March 3rd, ’04 and September, ’06. Glad to see you’re back online though… :-)

The internet has run amuck. Blogs are out of control.

Blogs have become cess pools. The last couple years they have grown worse and worse.

The day is coming when they will have no choice but to clean up the internet. They do that by simply suing people for posting this cesspool stuff on the internet. The framework is simple……if you said it to a person in person and it gets you sued, then that same framework applies here.

Once people start getting their arses sued off for writing bitterly spiteful blogs then the internet will start self policing itself.

The wild west internet is coming to an end. It might be 5 to 10 more years in the making but this out of control internet cannot continue unabated and unregulated. Im sure that will set will with libertarian anarchists but Its not MY idea. ITS simply what is GOING to happen.

Panama John changed his mind. He had a woman win the war for him. It’s just like when someone runs their mouth in my chosen hobby. My reply is …”watch it, or our women will kick your a$$”. ;-)

Bash McCain all you want, at least someone has the cajones to do what just about every politician would want to do if they weren’t so afraid of the possible fallout.

That is exactly what the country needs in its President. Someone who is not afraid to stand up for what is right. Someone who will do what needs to be done even if it is unpopular at the time.

“Stand up for what you believe in, even if you stand alone.” – (source unknown)

By the way, according to Obama’s ‘memoirs’, when Palin’s husband was getting pulled over for DUI, Obama (the antichrist) was getting stoned on pot and cocaine.

Hmmmm… And you want to elect who???

    • The GTL™

Geez, you two (FandB and Chuck) are quite the team, arenchya? :-)

FandB, I don’t see why anybody from the left needs to bring up a 22 year old DUI case for a potential “2nd Laddy” — a little over the top, I agree.

As for Obama during the same time period, I wonder if any of the cocain he was getting stoned on was shared with President Bush or vice versa? After all, they were both cokeheads at roughly the same time I believe ;-)

Couldn’t help myself. Today, when I woke up here in Mayberry, the sun shone a little brighter. Us true conservatives actually have a formidable candidate, not just for this election but for years to come. It’s kinda like when y’all knew Sen. Obama had defeated Sen. Clinton. That HAD to be a good day. :-)

BTW, just so’s you can tell us apart, F&B is the GOP fanatic, I’m merely the rightwing fanatic.

Well I agree with neo on this one. I can’t stop there though, the parties and candidates themselves opened this gate over the last 2 decades by “legitimizing” innuendo, whisper campaigns, and out and out disrespect to one another. The internet just gave the rest of us a place to scream.

Geez if my kids behaved as badly as the parties do they’d be grounded for life.

If my kids acted this bad, Id be grounded for life cause Ida beat them to death.

Yeah I didnt grow up in a politically correct world.

      yeah ok…

So let’s see ummm…just curious about somethin:
      For the 3RD TIME… I’ll say/ask AGAIN:
Has anyone mentioned the economy or healthcare yet. We already know they will not discuss the past 8 years that’s for sure.

    • Chuck

      Springer

Okay, I’ll play your game. The economy is slow but growing, and healthcare is a mess. The common denominator is government bungling. Is that better? ;-)
