Hillary “Livid” That She Signed Up For Barack Obama’s Veep Announcment (“text VP to 62262“) And Hasn’t Received her “CLINTON” Text Yet
As the entire free world awaits, some impatiently, for Barack Obama’s Official text message, Sir Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton clings to the hope the incoming message will not only hurry up and arrive, but will read “CLINTON“ (Source: The Politico’s Mike Allen).
Well, unfortunately for Ms. Clinton, her wish shall become a shocking reality according to GTL “insiders”, but the specific “Clinton” Barry Obama’s text message will be referring to is BILL Clinton, our former president, in what shall be Barry’s “late August surprise“. Sorry Hillary; that’s just the way the ball bounces — you ARE going to be the “2nd Lady” should the Obama-Clinton team be succcessful against the McCain-Foley campaign for the Oval Office.
And yes, I do realize that anybody who bothered to click on the previous link will see I was absolutely wrong in my earlier “insider prediction”; that Barry Obama would be choosing Congressman “Dollar Bill” William Jeffereson, Jr. of Louisiana as his running mate. My apologies. I was watching my beloved San Francisco 49′ers take on the Chicago Bears in their NFL preseason game when my “insiders” called and I must confess all I heard was “blah, blah, blah, Bill… blah, blah, blah” and jumped to what seemed to be the only LOGICAL conclusion — the Congressman from Louisiana — for obvious reasons. I apologize — QB J.T. O’Sullivan and RB Frank Gore were on a TEAR. This sort of a screwup could have happened to any passionate NFL/Political “junkie”.
However; I will stick to my guns on the latter “VeepStakes” choice — the one I chose for Panama John McCain — Mark Foley. Just remember, it takes a BIG man to admit he is wrong, and I do look forward to the Bill Clinton – Barack Obama versus Señor McCain – Mark Foley debates in the coming months. And my heart goes out to both “Dollar Bill” and Sir Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton whom I am sure hang onto my every word on this website for any false hopes I might have given them.

Joe”I voted for the Iraq war and you didn’t”Biden is the new Obama VP.
So now we have a President “My Judgment Rocks” Obama and a New VP “My Judgment sucks” Biden.
What a party.
Wow, Barry “Change” Obama picks a career machine politican as a running mate. Lets see, born in ’48, prep schools, U Del as a history/poli sci major (obviously didn’t want to work for a living), syracuse law, passed the bar in ’69 and into the US Senate in ’73. Sounds like Barry, for all his talk about “Change” (heck, that seems to be his entire platform. He could cut down his speaches to that one word and save his voice since he has no plan to bring about that change) doesn’t even believe it himself. Otherwise he would have picked someone other than a SIXTH term Senator. That’s right folks, good old Joe has been sucking at the public teat for over 30 years. So much for the idea of change.
The only “change” you’ll see under an Obama presidency will be your income going down and your taxes going up.
F&B — you forgot to call him the “Antichrist”, bro
It’s funny. No matter how often solid information and logical thought are presented to a conservative, they will continue to believe their silly rumors and stuperstitions. Historically, the stock market booms under Democratic presidents, wages and other go up, and taxes, as a percentage of real income plummets. The ads these imbeciles see on FIXed News say Obama has no plan, so of course, he has no plan (except to fill your tires).
Why don’t conservatives love America? The founding fathers didn’t create a company, they created a government, and actually, they did a damn good job. This sow, sloppy, inefficient, corrupt and bloated behemoth is, without a doubt, still the best the world hasever seen (which is, I admit, a little depressing). It just needs some change(that we can believe in).
Sure, Biden is a crusty old Washington insider, but at least he’s not well into his Azheimers phase, like that worthless, flip-flopping, sorry-ass piece of cr4p that ditched his disabled wife for a little whore sugar momma and parlayed his stint in the Hanoi Hilton into a political career. Every time he deflects legitimate accusations of impropriety by bring up that he’s a war hero he belittles the brave men and women serving in these endless criminal wars for oil.
Yeah, I’m thinking that anybody stupid enough to pick Biden as its veep is probably not the antichrist after all.
Or else, everybody already knows it is the antichrist anyway, so my saying it is just redundant.
So, right before Obama sent that “3 am” text message, the person who had leaked Biden’s name earlier in the evening to Fox News snapped a quick photo of Obama without its makeup. Funny thing, when I signed up for a *gravitar*, that photo popped into my image slot and I can’t seem to change it… Weird.
Oh, and one other change we would see if Obama is elected… Our military will have to learn how to goosestep when marching, and our salute with be changed to that stupid Obama salute thing with the clasped hands forming an “O”.
At least we’ll be able to take comfort in the fact that working hard and getting ahead will no longer be allowed. If you make too much money, Obama & Co. will take it all away from you. That’s the way to equalize the classes, remove all incentives to prosper.
- Formerly F&B (gravitar won’t let me use an “&”
OMFG, F&B!!! Your gravitar, bro… I friggin’ LOVE IT! Almost spit my coffee all over my screen — you and Chuck have to quit doin’ that to me… LMFAO!!!
And Mr. Lovell — good ta’ see ya’ again! Thank God, I’ve got girardia over here to help keep y’all straight
Thanks, Guns. I’ve been hit and miss here lately. But getting back into the swing of things. Really sucks that we can’t come up with better on both sides of the asile.
OH, and, yes, that really is me, taken about a year ago.
I’m holding a replica 1860 Colt revolver.
Heh… I know that really is ya — I remember your joelovell.com site (whatever happened to it)…
Good to sea back… don’t be such a stranger
Kind of a strange day. The very moment the next leader of the free world began to speak (to introduce the old Washington insider he picked to help him bring us the change we can believe in) a bolt of lightning slammed into the hill across the highway from my house. When they were done making the excellent point that McShame would be four more years of BushCo., I surfed around the news stations, and several pundits in a row on FIXed News actually went on and on about this being a good pick, and then I went to MSNBC, which is usually the most left leaning outlet of the giant right-wing media conglomerate, and they were tearing Obama down for this decision and showing McLame’s attack ad they had ready for this scenario over and over again. Strange.
girardia – you must have forgotten about Jimmy Carter and what he did to the economy, and our country. The only democrat I can remember who didn’t destroy the economy was Bill Clinton, and that was just because he was the lucky beneficiary of Reagan’s Presidency and the economic explosion that it led to (i.e. the dot-com boom). By the time Carter’s administration was over, unemployment in the city I lived in was at 25% and mortgage interest rates were pushing 12%. It was more of a ‘bust’ than a ‘boom. Expect more of the same from Obama & Co.
Why would you question the patriotism of conservatives? I don’t know any conservatives that don’t love America and what she stands for.
I agree that the founding fathers created a government, not a business. And they said the government should basically leave people, and businesses, alone.

Jimmy Carter inherited the huge mess left to him by the unprecedented levels of corruption in the Nixon administration, and the cost of America’s first totally bulls41t war, and the first energy crisis. Carter was taking the right steps to solve these problems, and America would be in a hell of a lot better shape now if the Republican power brokers hadn’t rigged that election with their trading of weapons for hostages for drugs for weapons, and all that, in order to get that dirt-bag Reagan in office. Check out this site. The stock market does better under Dems, even Carter.

My point is that Liberals have as much or more love for America as the blind, ignorant, child-like love conservatives do. As John Stuart Mill said, about 150 years ago, “Not all stupid people are conservatives, but most conservatives are stupid people.” Still holds true. Sure, some of my liberal friends are also pretty stupid people, but my point is that liberals love America for what she can be. This is a work in progress. I hate to quote Reagan, but one of the few times he was right about anything is when he said that America’s best days were still to come; unfortunately, he set us back about a generation or so.
Anyone who thinks that one party has all the right answers, which is a viewpoint far more common in the simple minded mentality of a staunch conservative than it is in the mind-set of a member of the broad coalition of varied interests that form the Democratic party, is sadly mistaken. Fortunateley, the GOP is in a state of collapse, and hopefully, when younger Republicans begin to gain some influence in their party, they can restructure and realign their positions in a way that makes more sense, and that thay can do so with at least a little bit of morality and a few scruples. What a disgusting pile of cr4p this current batch is. They all belong in prison, until they die there.
The simple fact of the matter is that the economy grows under Democrats, and that every single so called fiscally conservative Republican administration of the last few generations has left us enormous levels of mounting debt.
girardia – selective reading and misinterpretation of a single article on economics by a single person with minimal credentials does not make a strong argument. There are clearly many methodological errors and omissions from the scant article. There is much better and more through information available on this subject, even on the ‘net.
I agree that Carter inherited a huge mess – but he made it much worse through inept actions and poor decisions.
Even the article you cited indicates that President Bush inherited a huge mess, and that Clinton escaped before the effects of the dot-com collapse hit home.
For all the whining liberals do about how ‘progressive’ they are and how ‘understanding’ and ‘accepting’ of differences, they sure do spew a great deal of venom at anyone who dares to disagree with them. Can you spell ‘h-y-p-o-c-r-i-t-e-s’???
By the way, President Reagan was not a “dirt bag.” In fact, no President of the United States ever has been a “dirt bag.”

My website went away when we forgot to pay for the name. Then some company bought the name from under us. It will make a comeback as http://www.joe-lovell.com once the little woman gets things moved to it. Meanwhile check out: http://s243.photobucket.com/albums/ff30/subdjoe/?special_track=nav_album_album
for some pics of our battery at Gettysburg, a neet little part of a cemetary in Camden Point MO with some Confederate graves. And a few landscapes.
A person can find material skewed to defend any viewpoint on the net.
Liberals can’t even agree with each other, but they do tend to get a bit upset when they are constantly and systematically called unpatriotic and crazy and so on by the conservative corporate hate machine that laughably calls itself the liberal media.
Since my birth, during the Kennedy years, Jimmy Carter is the only president we’ve had that wasn’t a dirtbag. The system is broken, and it needs change (that we can believe in). I don’t expect Obama to be the second coming of Christ or all that. I just think that he really is trying to improve things, unlike the current thugs, who base every decision they make on how it will enrich a select few, at the expense of the rest of us, and with no concern about America whatsoever. They started a war and murdered hundreds of thousands of people for profits; no other legitimate reason. They make Ted Bundy or Al Capone seem like saints. They really do belong in prison for the rest of their lives. It’s down right pathetic that Americans haven’t rioted in the streets and lynched these filthy bastards. I’m sorry if I get a little angry that my government is a bunch of criminals. Government can solve problems if the people involved actually care and try. Reagan was so wrong when he said government was the problem. Bad government is the problem.
Actually, I’m a nice guy, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekends, all. I’ll set you straight on other issues as they arise. Peace.
Nice set of pictures Joe Lovell. I took my wife and kids to Gettysburg several years ago. It was a very powerful and moving experience. I would recommend that anyone who can make the trip should see Gettysburg at least once.
I was in Gettysburg just last fall. I rode around on the upper level of the tour bus. It was pretty overwhelming. At one point the tourguide told us the many monuments surrounding the town represented small battles in a three days of hell that left 8,000 people lying dead and 50,000 injured. The immensity of it literally brought tears to my eyes.
Joe, nice pix, but I’m thinkin’ if you can make it from SoCal to Virginia you could stop by and let me buy you a beer (thanks in part to the latest donation from Chuck) down here in South Alabama?
F&B — not speaking for girardia, but I’m thinkin’ his (or her?) issues are more with Washington Republicans than with conservatives. Correct me if I’m wrong on that one, “G”?
If I’m correct in that assumption, then I and girardia are squarely on the same page in this debate. However; I can’t help but to point out, I’ve had many a great beer in a great setting with conservatives, liberals, libertarians, etc., around this fine country of ours and I have found common ground with ALL of ‘em somewhere, somehow…
If ANY of y’all ever pass thru Alabama on I-10 without having a beer or four with me, I’ll be PI$$ED!
I took them long enough to make the freaking announcement, we are already behind schedule, lol!
They better start planning their strategy and getting their pandering in sync. They are already slipping up and I hope they are not forgetting for a second that Dems lost the last two elections!
BTW: Jets just beat the Giants 10-7. go Farve!
Brett’s my cousin (for REAL)… seems like I’m the only one in my family who hasn’t met him yet in “The Kill” (Kiln, MS) in real-life. I’m a Niners fan to the BONE however, but — that said — GO CUZ!!!
wow, what a small world. green bay is crazy for letting him go. he is General Bret to me
He’s one of my only 2nd cousins I’ve never met. What pisses me off is everybody else I know in my family not only knows him personally, they keep telling me everytime I head over to “The Kill” to say “Hi” to family, “DOOD — you just missed Brett — He left 15 minutes ago…”
Oh well, we’ll cut grass together someday
P.S.: To my “cuzz” — Love ya man, but Joe Montana has more championships (and yannow it) — and yer’ just gonna have ta’ kick his butt in the Superbowl Ring sweepstakes before I’m gonna say “Cuzzin’ Brett’s the best“. And if you listen to “Cuzzin Kyle”, he’d tell ya’ I’d not HESITATE to throw that one in your way when the time comes we finally DO meet. All in good fun, of course
In the remote Rocky mountain town that I live in, everyone gets along, and helps and takes care of each other, no matter what type of person they are, and if someone doesn’t, they learn real quick to move on down the road. If I head into town and walk into a bar, I will quickly be invited into a huge round of shots with a couple of bikers, one with a black leather MIA-POW jacket and another with a jean jacket with a club logo on it, a white guy with dreads, a black guy in snowboard gear, a couple of cute young latinas and a hippy chick, a Republican state senator in a tie-dye, a hunting guide, a butch lesbian couple and a crusty old miner. Some nights the bar leans liberal, some nights it ‘s full of mostly conservative folk. Around here, no-one fits a stereotype. There aren’t enough of any one group of people to form a click. We all work with each other, we go to each others patrties, and like I said, we help each other. The brutal winters up here pretty much force us to.
I use the “shots” analogy because this is one of the hardest drinking towns in the country. I’d be glad to knock back a few cold ones with just about anyone.
By the way, GTL, everyone knows that Elway was better than Montana.
Heh… I’d expect NO LESS from an obvious Broncs fan, so I’ll give you a “pass” (pun intended) on that statement
“The only “change” you’ll see under an Obama presidency will be your income going down and your taxes going up.”
And your gun rights disappearing – those of you who still have some, that is.
hmmm
flooders
That’s truly sad. I assume they have no job skills and no other way to make a living so they become victims. Everywhere around the world we see that woman are “collateral damage”. When it comes to satisfying the insatiable male need for sex, sex, sex prostitutes are like Kleenexes a man can blow into and then crumple up and toss away or even kill, while the self-righteous in mainstream society point the finger at the victims, rather than at their victimizers.
I’m curious as to what illiterat conservative is poaching my moniker and what the hell you guys are now talking about.
I guess, when you think about it, illiterat should probably have an e at the end of it.
