UPDATE BELOW — Noon, CST — August 14th — Senator McSurge Is At It Again…
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili Derides “The Straight Double Talk Express”
Many of my fellow Americans, perhaps even validly, have their doubts as to the sincerity of the flowery words, which flow from the mouth of Barack Obama. On the other hand, judging by the numerous polls out there, many more Americans have doubts as to the sincerity of the clumsy words of Senator McStraightTalk. Well, folks — apparently the empty words of this young Democratic Republic’s ONLY Panamanian-born presidential candidate have ticked off the President of Georgia, whose country is obviously under attack from Russia…
A quote from CNN’s Political Ticker, written by Peter Hamby:
… “Yesterday, I heard Sen. McCain say, ‘We are all Georgians now,’” Saakashvili said on CNN’s American Morning. “Well, very nice, you know, very cheering for us to hear that, but OK, it’s time to pass from this. From words to deeds.” …
Great point, of course. Unfortunately, Señor McCain has created a problem for himself. That’s right, Senator McSurge has seen to it to take every action and opportunity to ensure our capable troops are rooted deeply into their mission as guardians of the Bush-Cheney-McCain “Big Oil And Nation Buildin’ Bidness” and, yannow — they’re really not available to go anywhere else at this time — that is, unless, the Georgian military goes back into Iraq and airdrops some of OUR troops into Georgia like our military did for them? Unlikely, of course. That’s what you get when you co-author the “Bush-Cheney Surge” book, friends.
This is precisely why Señior McSurge cannot deliver anything else for the Georgian president or his people at this critical time — he must now offer all he has to offer at this time, in direct relation to the tangible resources he has at hand — nothing more than Straight Double Talk in what has become his permanent audition for the world’s highest office, spanning over years and years for those with short memories.
And as I write this, Panama John is conducting a press conference; listening to him live on cable news at this very moment, and guess what — incapable of independent thought, the man could condense his entire speech into “Yeah, what President Bush and Condi Rice said”. More empty talk from an empty skull, friends.
UPDATE:
Get a load of this guy: Señor McCain, in his own words, at The Wall Street Journal…
OPINION
We Are All Georgians
By JOHN MCCAIN“… The Georgian people have suffered before, and they suffer today. We must help them through this tragedy, and they should know that the thoughts, prayers and support of the American people are with them. This small democracy, far away from our shores, is an inspiration to all those who cherish our deepest ideals. As I told President Saakashvili on the day the cease-fire was declared, today we are all Georgians. …”
Uhmmm… yeah — I think we already CAUGHT that part, Señor. Just as fascinating a writer as he is an orator, eh?

Yeahhh, and how about this: Where the heck have the Rethuglicans hid McCainiac’s “temper” hunh?! That’s what I want to know. Have you seen it lately, GTL? No. I didn’t think so. Maybe a Discovery Team sent out to goad him into a tirade would make the People wake up to what a silly sausage the man really is. No, wait. The silliness of McCainiac bear-hugging Bush like a tot on a teat didn’t work so well, why would a temper tantrum. Egad. We are forked. (“.)
If the splurge has gone as well as McSame and the other brilliant right wing pundits insist it has, then there should be plenty of extra, well-trained Iraqi troops available to help defend freedom in Georgia. If not, then maybe all those unpatriotic libral hippies and faggotts were actually on to something. Just perhaps, this little adventure in Iraq was a tremendous failure that will result in a long series of horrible repurcussions that we are just beginning to witness.
Get real. We’re not going to confront Russia militarily over (Soviet) Georgia. The sheer idiocy of the liberal whining over this is hilarious – they would all be the first to run and hide if we ever do confront Russia.

It is even more revealing that so many liberals still cannot admit that the “surge” has worked and the situation in Iraq continues to improve dramatically. Another free democracy is born in the Mideast – what a failure! I guess they spend too much time watching the Communist News Network (CNN) and have become incapable of independent thought.

Anybody but Obama!

“If not, then maybe all those unpatriotic libral hippies and faggotts were actually on to something.”
That’ll be the day.
Good one Chuck. LMFAO.
Thanks F&B.
Who can resist a chance to use a classic John Wayne line when the subject is “hippies” and “faggots”?
John Wayne sucked!
You must have just watched “The Conqueror”
F&B must think that Fox is fair and balanced. CNN is not quite as far right as Fox, but all the major media outlets are owned and operated by ultra right wing corporations eager for war profiteering. All they have to do is call themselves the “liberal media” over and over again, and the stupid, ignorant, brain-dead and brain-washed conservatives follow right along. This war was supposed to be chaotic, so the contractors could rob us blind. We never should have gone in the first place but the generals that told us how many soldiers it would take to maintain order were fired. It’s no surprise that 30,000 more soldiers stabilized things a tiny bit, for now, but since the whole thing is a giant crime, the sooner we end it the better. Any success there is the moral equivalent of a gang in LA having sucess grabbing more street corners to sell crack on.
George Bush and the entire leadership of the Republican Party belong on the end of ropes, swinging by their necks, and if it takes UN troops on US soil to make this a reality, that would be justice.
girardia, you sound bitter…
but to borrow from Chuck; “if it takes UN troops on US soil” – That’ll be the day
I am a bitter hippie clinging to my guns. I sure don’t fit any profile, I think Bush and Company is the worst thing to ever happen to this once great and now floundering nation.
The UN sure the heck won’t let you keep your guns, and neither will the antichrist Obama.

I thought hippies were mellow…well, other than that funky odor….hmmm….smells like victory..oops..no, more like oregeno.
That smell is now legal medicine and I am pretty mellow, but I’m heavily armed, and in a very remote location. I’m glad to see the left back off on gun control, even if it’s just a little, but I also have trouble with the NRA opinion pieces each month in my American Hunter magazine that support pro-gun politicians no matter how corrupt they are, and this crop of Republicans are the worst in a long, long time, if not ever, which leads us back to McShame and his pro-lobbyist platform. I think this thing with his top foreign affairs advisor being a lobbyist for Georgia could evolve into a big issue. McLame is just such a piece of $hit. He’s up for sale to the highest bidder. He’s fip-flopped more times in the last six months than all the other dirt-bag politicians combined. It’s stunning there’s anyone stupid enough to keep him in the race.
I’m glad I found this site. A heavily armed hippy should get along just fine with a gun toting liberal and the strange crew that he’s assembled.
Peace.
I’m glad you found the site, too girardia — somebody needs to keep F&B and Chuck in check
Just kiddin’ — I love those guys and this place wouldn’t be the same without ‘em Oh-PINING

I’ll have you know that the state provides for my care…as long as the thorazine holds out.

Little tense there bro, but I do like that heavily armed part. Just goes to show what the ‘Toter and I have always agreed on….if the government would just leave us regular folks alone, why hell, we actually might LIKE eachother.
