Glamour Interview Brings Out The “Real Man” In Barack Obama
While Barack Obama may not be my top pick for the next world leader to transform this nation into a “Utopia” (By the way, “Panama John” McCain is my LAST choice at this point — for the record), you’ve got to hand it to the guy; “Barry” sticks up for his wife, love her or hate her.
Some “snips” from his Glamour Q&A regarding malicious (if not somewhat deserved) remarks being made about Michelle Obama, his wife, by those who oppose an Obama presidency:
“… It’s infuriating, but it’s not surprising, because let’s face it: What happened was that the conservative press—Fox News and the National Review and columnists of every ilk—went fairly deliberately at her in a pretty systematic way…and treated her as the candidate in a way that you just rarely see the Democrats try to do against Republicans. …”

“… I don’t have a thick skin when it comes to criticism of my wife. And you know, the problem is that rarely do these folks have the guts to say it to your face. …”
Right ON, Senator Obama. The “needle” designating your ranking as a MAN on The GTL™ Respect-O-Meter just jumped sharply. Disrespect my lovely wife (and yes, she’s lovely indeed — former runway model) in front of my face and you’d better believe you_are_going_DOWN. I give her five seconds to take care of you herself, which is is quite capable of doing, by the way, and after that, expect to be lying on your back seeing stars.
Thanks largely to Sir Hillary Rodham Clinton and her lies about serving with former President Bill Clinton in the capacity of “Co-President”, the American People “Sheeple” have taken it for the truth. It’s NOT the truth at ALL. A First Lady is no more a “Co President” than an avid watcher of The Discovery Channel is an “Honorary Brain Surgeon And Forensics Technician” — PERIOD. First Lady, Laura Bush, doesn’t have a DAMNED thing to do with the “Surge” Dubya Bush “Big Oil And Nation Buildin’ Bidness” policy, for example — his HANDLER, Dick “Shotgun” Cheney does. Nor would Señor McCain’s wife Cincy, or Barry’s wife, Michelle, and that’s the point, ladies and gentlemen.
Yes, PLEASE, my fellow Americans — leave the wives out of this one and let’s nail the two actual candidates when they deserve it and/or are asking for it. After all, what were the names of Thomas Jefferson’s, Abe Lincoln’s, John Adam’s and George Washington’s wives’ names? If you must turn to Google to score one hundred percent on this one, you’ve proven my point.
