Barack Predicted To Sprint To The Democratic Finish Line; Hillary Predicted To Whine Some More About Why She Should Have Been The “Fave” Of The Delegates And Superdelegates
Twenty million U.S. dollars — That’s how much Hillary owes to those who’ve hung in there with her, clinging to her shared state of denial. Meanwhile, behind the scenes; Barack Obama’s camp is negotiating with Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton to determine just where in his potential administration she will serve in exchange for Barry’s gracious act of picking up the tab for his fiscally irresponsible foe in order for her rabid supporters to finally start paying their car notes and mortgages again…
From The New York Times:
Obama Pushes Effort to Claim Victory Tonight
By ADAM NAGOURNEY
Senator Barack Obama’s campaign began a concerted effort on Monday to rally undecided superdelegates around him so he can claim the Democratic presidential nomination after the primaries end on Tuesday night.
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton invited fund-raisers and other supporters to an election-night rally in New York City where, aides said, she was prepared to deliver what they described as a farewell speech that summed up the case for her candidacy. They said Mrs. Clinton was not likely to withdraw from the race on Tuesday night, probably waiting until later in the week, once Mr. Obama’s victory appeared clear. …”
The last quoted sentence reveals a hidden message: “Hillary’s for sale” (Wonkette). She plans to take the stage and admit Barack Obama has the delegate and superdelegate votes to win, but on the other hand; she won’t be bowing out of the race officially until Barack promises a vice presidential or other high-ranking spot in his potential administration PLUS bank wire transfers MILLIONS of dollars to an account of her choosing. Of course, she won’t publically admit the latter tonight, but it’s really no secret either.
Let us just pray Barack Obama will draw a line in the sand, hold his ground, and choose NOT to deem Her Royal Highness his running mate for ’08. While the ticket would make electoral sense, I simply do not wish to envision four more long months of that shrill, annoying “voice” of hers…
Call me “shallow” if you wish.
