Scott McClellan WAYLAYS Lame-Duck President “Surge” W. Bush In New Book

Former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan Admits To Aiding And Abetting President Bush In Deceiving The American People Into “Rubber-Stamping” Invasion Of Iraq…

Scott McClellan admits to conspiring with George Bush to commit mass murder in Iraq -- gets a free white-collar pass versus being imprisoned as a result..We’re all going to be “o-pining” on Scotty McClellan’s new book over the next few weeks instead of incarcerating him and his former boss on charges of intentionally conspiring to defraud the American Public into agreeing to allow our military forces to INVADE a sovereign nation based upon what “Scotty-boy” himself NOW admits was nothing more than Bush Administration “propaganda”. The man and his former boss, at the VERY least, should be under scrutinous federal investigation and most probably, wearing black-and-white jumpsuits in a federal penetentiary while awaiting trial, should these allegations prove to be TRUE.

For example — let’s say a buddy of mine robbed a bank and I knew about it all along. The media, knowing I’m a close friend and confidante of my buddy, shoves microphones under my chin and rolls the cameras; asks me what I know and I consiously choose to LIE to the press and say “My buddy is innocent. He did NOT rob a bank.”

But, he (my buddy) DID rob a bank. And I DID know about it all along. And I DID lie to the authorities and the public to help my buddy stay out of prison. He (my buddy) lied and people DIED; I helped him to cover up the CRIME and I get a “mulligan” because I choose to write a book all about it years later. Were it you or I, we’d be in prison. It would be called a “written confession“. But — that’s you or I.

Scotty McClellan, his cronies and his bosses (and former bosses) fall under a whole different set of rules set aside for only the “elites” amongst us. Laws. They’re FREE to commit murder and felonies as long as such crimes originate from a “silver spoon“, “white collar” physical address. You cannot get ANY more “white collar” than 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, folks…

From The Politico (H/T to MemeOrandum):

Exclusive: McClellan whacks Bush, White House

Former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan writes in a surprisingly scathing memoir to be published next week that President Bush “veered terribly off course,” was not “open and forthright on Iraq,” and took a “permanent campaign approach” to governing at the expense of candor and competence.

Among the most explosive revelations in the 341-page book, titled “What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington’s Culture of Deception” (Public Affairs, $27.95):

• McClellan charges that Bush relied on “propaganda” to sell the war.

• He says the White House press corps was too easy on the administration during the run-up to the war.

• He admits that some of his own assertions from the briefing room podium turned out to be “badly misguided.”

• The longtime Bush loyalist also suggests that two top aides held a secret West Wing meeting to get their story straight about the CIA leak case at a time when federal prosecutors were after them — and McClellan was continuing to defend them despite mounting evidence they had not given him all the facts.

• McClellan asserts that the aides — Karl Rove, the president’s senior adviser, and I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, the vice president’s chief of staff — “had at best misled” him about their role in the disclosure of former CIA operative Valerie Plame’s identity.

A few reporters were offered advance copies of the book, with the restriction that their stories not appear until Sunday, the day before the official publication date. Politico declined and purchased “What Happened” at a Washington bookstore.

The eagerly awaited book, while recounting many fond memories of Bush and describing him as “authentic” and “sincere,” is harsher than reporters and White House officials had expected.

McClellan was one of the president’s earliest and most loyal political aides, and most of his friends had expected him to take a few swipes at his former colleague in order to sell books but also to paint a largely affectionate portrait.

Instead, McClellan’s tone is often harsh. He writes, for example, that after Hurricane Katrina, the White House “spent most of the first week in a state of denial,” and he blames Rove for suggesting the photo of the president comfortably observing the disaster during an Air Force One flyover. McClellan says he and counselor to the president Dan Bartlett had opposed the idea and thought it had been scrapped.

But he writes that he later was told that “Karl was convinced we needed to do it — and the president agreed.” …

Hey — I know where Karl Rove can be found — send the feds into the FoxNews studios and you’ll find him eating doughnuts and drinking coffee in between his ample appearances. As for Scotty McClellan, he appears to have come out of hiding and should be easy enough to find, handcuff, book, fingerprint, and shove into a prison cell with a “roommate” by the name of “Rastus” or “Billy Bob”. As for President Bush — the man is STILL free and on the loose.
