Hoosiers Just Aren’t Very Highly Thought Of At ALL By Everyone Serving on the Sir Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton Campaign Staff According To New YouTube Video
Actually, the big “bru-haha” floating around the blogosphere centers primarily around a controversial article posted to The New MSM (Yes, I just coined that phrase — wear it out if you wish) website, The Huffington Post, is the possibility an even more offensive phrase was uttered by former aide to President Bill Clinton, and current informal adviser to that… that… WOMAN who goes by four names; Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton. The [psst... "allegedly"] foul-mouthed Hillary “buddy” in question? Mickey Kantor.
As if it’s not bad enough to [psst... "allegedly"] utter such dispicable words as “… those people are [insert the "S-Word" HERE] in reference to my fellow Americans of the Great Hoosier State, there are accusations of this same… MAN… referring to them also as “white [insert "N-Word" in the plural HERE]“, as well. Not that I’m saying the man actually SAID these things, and not that I’m saying the Clinton Camp feels the same way in the off-chance this man actually DID say these things and DOES feel this way… I’m just saying…
In all fairness, and as the almost always “fair and balanced” (No capital letters on purpose — he’s NOT FoxNews) Marc Ambinder of The Atlantic points out:
“… sense of fairness and logic aside, the Youtube video is from 1992, is only tangentially related to anything, and reporting on it would serve, as Barack Obama might say, as a distraction from the real issues. There’s also the possibility that the tape is a fraud. …”
The tape in question? This YouTube video:
On the latter charge, Marc Ambinder might be absolutely correct in pointing out the possibility the more offensive part; meaning in an “all encompassing” sense by offending anybody from Indianians, to whites, to people of color, to all others in between; Marc is correct. We shouldn’t jump to any conclusions. On the other hand, there seems to be little doubt to the FIRST statement — the one most likely to offend our Hoosier brothers and sisters, as “The New MSM” (Meaning The Huffpo) points out:
… “I’ve never used that word in my entire life, ever, under any circumstance, ever,” an angry Kantor told The Huffington Post, citing his and his parent’s work fighting for civil rights. “I have listened to [the video] and so have you. You can’t tell what it is I’m saying in that second sentence, you can’t decipher that.” …
(Snip!)
“… The cropped video, which spread through the Internet like wildfire on Friday morning, shows Kantor with fellow former Bill Clinton staffers James Carville and George Stephanopoulos discussing results from the general election. In the footage, Kantor approaches the two aides and says, “Look at Indiana — wait, wait, look at Indiana. 42-40. It doesn’t matter if we win, those people are shit.” That much seems true, though Pennebaker says Kantor was referring to the George H.W. Bush White House. The alleged “white n****r” line followed. …”
(Snip!)
“… Kantor said he was in the process of contacting “the best” libel lawyers to approach YouTube.com about the process of removing the video from its site. He suggested that The Huffington Post, too, should not print even his defense, as it would be an advancement of a non-story.
“I don’t need to be defended,” he wrote. “When you write it, what you are doing is extended the libel.” …
Well, well, WELL — apparently, here I go again — bringing the “heat” upon myself by going after rich and powerful, bully-ish, “entitled lawyer-types”. Take me to court, Mr. Kantor, if you insist. Be warned though, I’ve been taken to court before and I remain undefeated.
Frankly, I don’t think this line of thinking represents a disdain for the people of Indiana more than I think it DOES represent a general attitude of the “Washington elitists” toward the American People as a whole. In a much smaller sense, I can relate. As the Operations Manager of a site for a Fortune 500 Company, I’m sad to admit, there have been TIMES where I found myself frustrated at the way things are going as there I sat perched in my (so-called) “Ivory Tower”, feeling surrounded by a bunch of mindless scumbags. The difference between the Washington Elites and myself, I am happy to point out, is the fact that this attitude lasts with me for only a few moments before I snap to my senses and realize I’d be nothing without these folks. In the case of the former, they NEVER shed this elitist point of view. Most of them were BORN with it. To these creeps, we ARE mindless “Sheeple” who are nothing more than a collective bowell movement and WORSE…
And that, folks, is PRECISELY the reason the time has come to stop hiring wealthy, elitist SNOBS to govern our country. Shame on Hillary? Of COURSE. You are what you hang out with, after all. Just ask HER. She is the one who is quick to insinuate the same about Barack Obama for his relationship with former Reverend Jeremiah Wright. The BIG difference is the fact that Sir Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton is not only STILL hanging out with Mickey Kantor, she CHERISHES HIS GUIDANCE.
