Geraldine Ferraro: Eliot Spitzer Was A “Nice guy and a good tipper” — AND — “If Barack Obama wasn’t as black as he is, he’d be a-workin’ on the chain gang”

UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST (H/T to MemeOrandum):

Geraldine Advises Us To Stay Off Of Eliot Spitzer’s Back Because He Was A Good Tipper

Five THOUSAND dollar hooker for Eliot Spitzer isnI couldn’t make this up. Or, maybe my mind is just playing tricks on me. After all, I’ve been working a LOT of hours lately and the news is coming at me at warp speed. I feel like I’m standing on the deck of the Starship Enterprise, alongside Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock as the stars go by so fast, they’re nothing but a blur. And no, I do NOT attend “Trekkie” conventions, I’m just making a point.

To be sure, I MIGHT just (understandably) be getting a bit confused on the facts, therefore; I shall attempt to align them so I can better arm myself to keep up with the latest “Democratic mud-slinging” going in order to make a more-informed vote in the (“all important”) general election…

That stated, please allow me try and get this straight — not for YOUR sake, but for my own

New York Governor, Eliot Spitzer, was caught in the act of spending $5,000 to have unprotected sex with (source: ABCNews) former Democratic vice-presidential candidate, Geraldine Ferraro. He was rather “nice” and a “good tipper”, Ms. Ferraro says… -

Geraldine Ferraro refuses to comment on the matter, choosing, instead, to attack Barack Obama for being too black, otherwise, he’d be in “da’ hood where he belongs”; (source: Daily Breeze) she offers no apologies for the insinuation -

AGAIN — I could simply be confusing one piece of “nooz” with another, so don’t mind me AT ALL while I attempt to sort this out in my feeble brain. If I’ve gotten a few of the details wrong, then SUE me… at least I’m not as bad as the mainstream media at getting my facts straight, correct?

I do know this for a FACT though — should it turn out to be TRUE — that Mr. Spitzer, the highest-ranking law enforcement official in the State of New York, was actively prosecuting hookers and johns for having consensual sex with each other while paying Geraldine Ferraro, or any OTHER sex worker to help him relieve some “job-related tension”; I say, toss HIM into the clink for awhile so he can THINK about the draconian laws he held his People accountable to obey…

UPDATE (10:00 AM, CST): Eliot Spitzer To Resign Any Minute NowNew York Post

“… Gov. Eliot Spitzer has decided to resign and is notifying top state officials of his decision, The Post has learned.

Word began circulating of his decision in state political circles earlier this morning. The decision came after what one source called “an agonizing night,” as the governor’s wife, Silda Wall Spitzer, and the governor’s lawyers went over a possible plea deal offered by federal prosecutors, sources told The Post. …”

No comment from Geraldine Ferraro? Apparently not…

After listening to Spritzer deliver his pompous arrogant speech about how humbled he is and how superior he is for now, after he got caught, beginning to turn his life around, I’m thinking the clink is too lenient.

I think Lorena Bobbit should give his wife a call.

    Ms. Ferraro,

I am terribly disappointed. Your recent suggestion that Mr. Obamas’ success happened only because he is black is especially painful. To think that being black in America is a lucky thing strikes me as being inconsiderate.

I am a black person born the same year as Mr. Obamas’ wife 1964, and I can tell you at no time in my life was being black a lucky thing, or are you unaware of the sad and continuing legacy of American race relations. You disregard Mr. Obamas’ legitimate and laudable accomplishments by attributing them to one thing, and it’s the one thing Mr. Obama tries least to be – a man of race. Mr. Obama is a child of God, a husband, a father, a university graduate and a lawyer. Mr. Obama has been a stellar state representative of Illinois and he is currently a United States Senator, and great American. Somewhere probably in the high teens of the list of things Mr. Obama is would be black man.

The statements you have made and defend amount to making his race his primary attribute. You are playing the race card in a manner that is insulting, and quite frankly would be more expected from the kind of reactionary people America has hopefully outgrown.

In 1984 I was a student at the University of Southern California an institution with a traditionally conservative bent. I remember campaigning for and ardently defending a certain congressperson from New York as being more than just a woman, but a person regardless of gender worthy to potentially lead this country. I’m sorry to know now that I was wrong, and all the time any Gerard really would have sufficed.

    Well done, Mr. Johnson, Jr.!!!!!!!!!

No offense intended to Mr. Johnson, Jr.

The fact is, Obama’s record as an Illinois Senator was lackluster at best. To be fair to most other Illinois Representatives, his performance was well below average.

Obama’s accomplishments can only be attributed to one thing, and race has nothing to do with it. It also has nothing to do with his political record, which is poor.
