For one — Hillary didn’t “start” anything and neither did Barack Obama. Although this is only common sense when you THINK about it, I must admit it didn’t hit me until one of my closest friends (if you can picture it) in the entire world; a VERY “high up”, yet behind the scenes Republican operative confided in me a “tidbit” worthy of note. Well, I said “confided” but that’s not quite true — of course, he gave me permission to print this on condition of his anonymity, which I would never betray.

He explained to me, in his words, “We know the liberals are easy to split against each other…“. True enough, but also true for the conservatives, of course, but back to his claim. He told me the GOP had launched a campaign to feed both Barack and Hillary with dirt to use against each other in order to split the liberal voters and expose hypocrisy in both camps. He explained it all began with that picture The Drudge Report ran of Barack Obama (he sent it to Hillary before he published it, by the way) in African garb and will continue for the next week, getting uglier and uglier and uglier between Obama and Clinton as they will both begin to accuse one another of the same dirt; the “more-easily beatable” Queen Hillary with the advantage as the “more civil and gentlemanly” Obama will try and take the moral high ground in the smear game. Besides, might as well keep it in the family, right (referring to the Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton Dynasty)?

Interestingly, my close friend expressed his opinion on the Barack/African garb photo and laughed as he said, “You understand there’s absolutely nothing wrong at all with somebody going to the country of the origin of their bloodline and participating in local customs, don’t you? For example, I’m Irish. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the notion of myself jumping into a plane and heading over to Ireland, posing in a kilt with golf clubs, is there? Barack should not have fallen into the trap of getting defensive over it but we knew he would…”

It all makes sense. John McCain is running unopposed unless you want to cling to hopes that the clown, Mike Huckabee, is actually a “threat”. The Republicans would love nothing more than to see Hillary and Barack so deadlocked with each other due to superdelegate votes that the decision must take place at the Democratic National Convention. “Wedge”, baby, “WEDGE“. And the Democrats are falling for it; hook, line and SINKER. As always.
