“Neutrality” Is The Word Of The Day In The Democratic Party As The Nation’s Potential “Second Black Male President” Surges Past “The Nation’s First Black President’s” Wife In The Caucuses And Primaries…
As of yet, no official word from former(?) KuKlux Klansman, Robert Byrd (D), but his buddies on the so-called “Liberal” and “Oh-So Inclusive” Democratic side of the aisle are picking up the slack for him by deciding to remain “neutral” (at this time) as the nation’s first TRUE black candidate for president makes mincemeat of the Clintons by winning caucus after caucus and primary after primary lately. Excuse me? “Neutral”? Makes me wonder just how much DIRT the Senator “Puppet” from New York and her hubby, the nation’s first potential “First Laddy” might have on these so-called “Superdelegates“?
From The New York Times:
Democrats Look for Way to Avoid Convention Rift
By DON VAN NATTA Jr. and JO BECKER
Former Vice President Al Gore and a number of other senior Democrats plan to remain neutral for now in the presidential race in part to keep open the option to broker a peaceful resolution to what they fear could be a bitterly divided convention, party officials and aides said Friday.
Democratic Party officials said that in the past week Mr. Gore and other leading Democrats had held private talks as worry mounted that the close race between Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton could be decided by a group of 796 party insiders known as superdelegates.
The signs that party elders are weighing whether and how to intervene reflects the extraordinary nature of the contest now and the concern among some Democrats that they not risk an internal battle that could harm the party in the general election.
But they also provided an early glimpse at the complex set of tradeoffs facing party leaders, from their desire to make their own influence felt to their worries about offending the candidates and particular constituencies — not to mention the long, sometimes troubled relationship between Mr. Gore and the Clintons. …”
(Snip!)
“… A number of senior Democrats, including Speaker Nancy Pelosi and three candidates who have dropped out of the 2008 race, former Senator John Edwards and Senators Christopher J. Dodd and Joseph R. Biden Jr., have spoken with Mr. Gore in recent days. None have endorsed a candidate, although Ms. Pelosi made comments on Friday that were widely seen as supportive of Mr. Obama when it came to the process the party should use to make its choice of candidate.
“It would be a problem for the party if the verdict would be something different than the public has decided,” Ms. Pelosi said in an interview with Bloomberg Television. Ms. Pelosi said she intended to remain neutral, though some of her closest friends and allies in the House are publicly supporting Mr. Obama. …”
There you go — the Democrats are, yet again, GUTLESS — afraid to back an actual, TRULY black man over a fake one and his wife. “Hint-hint”, “wink-wink” is “A-Okay”, but coming out strongly in favor of the Peoples’ choice is just a bit too much, too soon, because of what? The color of the man’s skin, it appears. “Is the nation TRULY ready to appoint a former black basketball player with collegiate photos of him with an afro circulating around?”, they ask themselves. And the answer is: “NEUTRAL“. Afraid to take a stand. As usual, by the way.
Again, I believe it gets back to the “Vince Foster” thing — I really don’t think ANY of us want to see Al Gore shooting the back of his skull out, on his knees, at the side of the Potomac River, but how can we REALLY put it past these people for such an occurrance to take place? I’d be afraid if I were a Democratic “Superdelegate”, too, frankly. VERY afraid.
Why do I get the DISTINCT impression the Clintons might just be digging up the “dirt” on these folks? Would ANY of you actually put it past them when it gets down to it?
I think not…

As a gun toting liberal, I must say that the writing style of the blog entries here is annoying. The subjects of your entries match the political right in mindless absolutism that brooks no deviation from doctrine, and, ultimately, it’s all irrelevant to any movement in America today. You need to reformulate your goals.

From article:
“…Struggle Against Racist Tendencies…”
Remember, when the politically correct use the term racist, they simply mean white Gentiles who discriminate.
It is a racial slur directed only at white Gentiles. Racist = honky, or honky-ish.
So, the translation of the quote would be: February “…Struggle Against Honky Tendencies…”

My prediction is that the ‘08 Democratic ticket will be Barack Obama and Jim Webb.
