Will The Former Co-Presidents Clinton Strategy Of Slinging The “We Bombs” Across The Country Work?

UPDATE BELOW (6:15 PM, CST)

Recent quotes from the former and “wannabe” future Co-Presidents Clinton as they split up and campaign across the map of “Purple America”:

  • “We”
  • “Us”
  • “Two for the price of one”
  • Bill aspires to become our first “First Laddy”, my aching behind; this IS a “Co-Presidency” monarchy they seek and we are, indeed, in grave danger of not only allowing it to happen but assisting them in their quest. Back to the future? Try going a couple of hundred years back back in time to get my point. Indeed, I pray we are smarter than that…

Ever the statesman politician though, “Barry” Obama pretends to be confused by what he is seeing from the Clintons’ campaign:

“I can’t tell who I’m running against sometimes.”

Looks like we are dumb enough to continue the Bush Clinton Clinton Bush Clinton Clinton Monarchy should we allow Hillary and Bill to return for their third and fourth terms...Uhmm… right, “Barry”. Point well-taken but you do, indeed know who you are running against — a former (so-called) “First Lady” and a future “First Laddy” who’ll stop at NOTHING to grab the keys to The Kingdom from (behind the scenes) “bestest buddy” Bushes, Mr. Obama. Obviously, we are dangling perilously close to a “Bush/Clinton-Clinton/Bush/Clinton-Clinton” DYNASTY and its time for yourself, John Edwards, Rudy Giuliani, John McCain, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney and anybody else with a “voice” to echo these sentiments before it’s too late. Am I the only one who’s thinking this prospect is more than just a little bit CREEPY? I should hope not, my friends…

Even as some of the pundits are speculating today that Hillary is already ceding South Carolina to Barack Obama, she doesn’t hesitate to point out the obvious in this Washington Post article:

    Clinton Now Looking Beyond S.C.
Focus on 4 Delegate-Rich States Is Considered Risky

By Anne E. Kornblut and Shailagh Murray

SALINAS, Calif., Jan. 22 — The next Democratic presidential nominating contest will take place in South Carolina on Saturday, but Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has already turned her full attention to places such as this: delegate-rich pockets of states that will vote in a tidal wave of primaries two weeks from now. …”

    (Snip!)

“… Clinton argued that it is “absolutely not fair” to say that she is ceding South Carolina to Obama, who is campaigning there most of this week. After traveling to California and Arizona on Tuesday, she was scheduled to return to Washington late that night and then go to New Jersey on Wednesday.

“I have a couple of obligations that I have to meet today and tomorrow, but my husband and my daughter are in South Carolina, and we are waging a very vigorous campaign in South Carolina,” Clinton said. “We are obviously on the ground, pushing hard.” …” – Washington Post [emphasis, mine]

Daily “We bomb” soundbytes now. The Royal Clintons aren’t even trying to hide their lust for “co” power any longer and I’m glad to see it, frankly. My hope is my fellow Americans will wake up and smell the coffee before it’s too damned late to stop this freight train from gaining anymore steam than it already has.

As The Wall Street Journal points out today, these PEOPLE will do ANYTHING THEY MUST to plant their collective “butt” back into the most important chair in the world:

    Obama’s Clinton Education

One of our favorite Bill Clinton anecdotes involves a confrontation he had with Bob Dole in the Oval Office after the 1996 election. Mr. Dole protested Mr. Clinton’s attack ads claiming the Republican wanted to harm Medicare, but the President merely smiled that Bubba grin and said, “You gotta do what you gotta do.” …

    (Snip!)

… “I understand him wanting to promote his wife’s candidacy,” Mr. Obama added on Sunday, referring to Bill Clinton. “She’s got a record that she can run on. But I think it’s important that we try to maintain some — you know, level of honesty and candor during the course of the campaign. If we don’t, then we feed the cynicism that has led so many Americans to be turned off to politics.” …

Okay, Mr. Obama — we already know you’re quite the gentleman; quite the tactful one; quite the diplomat — WE GOT IT, Sir. “Nice” will not prevent this dynasty from becoming further rooted below and above this Democratic Republic though — take off the gloves and fight fire with fire, Senator. And please, dear readers, do NOT take this as an endorsement for “Barry” Obama — it’s an endorsement for our return to a Democracy and again, these concerns should be voiced by EVERY “wannabe prez” in this horse race — YESTERDAY. In fact, I’d be calling myself “undecided” at this point but that wouldn’t be true at all since I am CLEARLY “decided” in the fact that I do NOT, under ANY circumstance, wish to see a continuance of this Bush/Clinton-Clinton/Bush/Clinton-Clinton monarchy. Not only is it a “bad idea”, it’s “unamerican” in eveyr sense of the word.

(Co) Presidents “Billary” did a fine job in the 1990’s and I thank sincerely for their (Co) service…

    And now… BUH-BYE.

    THINK.

    UPDATE:

Former (Co) President Bill Clinton goes after the Mainstream Media (“MSM”) in a rant down in South Carolina (H/T again to MemeOrandum) — video provided in the CNN piece:

Bill Clinton gets upset with CNN reporter

(CNN) – Bill Clinton became visibly upset Wednesday over comments by a prominent South Carolina Democrat that compared the former president’s actions on the trail to those of infamous Republican strategist Lee Atwater.

In an interview with CNN’s Jessica Yellin, Dick Harpootlian, a former chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party and a supporter of Barack Obama, said some of Bill Clinton’s recent remarks on the campaign trail were appeals based on race and gender. He said the comments were meant to “suppresses the vote, demoralize voters, and distort the record,” and said they were “reminiscent of Lee Atwater.”

Clinton sharply disputed the charge, and lashed out at Yellin for raising the question. …”

I love ole’ Bill, I really DO. He’s always good for a surprise these days, isn’t he?

Mark Ambinder of The Atlantic took the time to provide the entire text of Bill’s major, anti-msm rant, so be sure to pay him a visit, too…

The way I see it is if Obama can’t handle the heat as far as the Clinton’s are concerned than maybe he otta get out of the kitchen.

If he is acting this way when it comes to pressure on him from another democrat than how is he going to deal with it when he has to face the republicans. I heard to some degree that Karl Rove will be working with who ever is nominated for the republican side.

I happen to agree with Bill Clinton on the media rant if that is what you want to call it. It is not about the issues when it comes to the media, it is about how much they can turn it into a soap opera.
