Vegas Pigfest Award Goes To Hillary
The Las Vegas Caucuses are over and the votes are in. Depending upon whom you are cheering for, Hillary won and Barack won, in typical, “2008 liberal fashion”, with no clear “winners” and no clear “losers” — Hillary wins the popular vote, while “Barry” wins the most delegates — everybody wins, “kum-bah-yah” (source: TheFix).
But let’s talk about dinner for a moment, shall we? Sir Hillary Rodham Clinton outspent “Barry” Obama $7.50 to the Dollar at a steakhouse in the “Sin City” called “N9NE”.
While two hundred dollars worth of food and drink for a single meal to any one of us might sound a bit lavish and bizarre, it’s quite “conservative” compared to the fifteen hundred dollars worth of food and drink, not counting any tips, if ANY (in the case of Queen Hillary) ordered by the (“two for the price of SEVEN”) Clintons just minutes afterward.
One meal, one restaraunt, two candidates, same day, vast differences in the final bills and menues tells us an awful LOT about all of these “players” in this game, does it not?
CLINTON, OBAMA KEEP N9NE STEAKHOUSE BUSY
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her camp ate a little higher off the hog than her rival Barack Obama during their week of campaigning in Las Vegas.
Both campaign camps called N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms minutes apart Friday for a food delivery.
Chef Barry Dakake and Jenna Morton, wife of N9NE co-owner Michael Morton, delivered around $200 worth of food, including two Kobe burgers, two organic chicken sandwiches and one order of Dover sole, to Obama in a conference room at the Las Vegas Signature Terminal.
The Clintons’ tab came to $1,530 and included entrees of nine steaks, three chicken, three salmon and three Maine scallops, two lobster pappardelle, salads, sashimi, rock shrimp, and various side dishes. …”
Here’s a question for you — have ANY of you — the readers of this website, sent two hundred bucks to the Barack Obama campaign? If so, this is what your hard-earned dollars financed — a SINGLE MEAL IN VEGAS for your favorite candidate. Did you get your money’s worth?
Another question for you — have ANY of you sent fifteen hundred bucks to the Sir Hillary Rodham Clinton campaign? If so, it paid for a SINGLE MEAL IN “SIN CITY” — are you happy with your investment?
Meanwhile, Sheriff John McCain continues to pound his chest over his miraculous rebound in the G.O.P. primaries; extremely “miraculous” considering he’s mainly pandering for his votes by promising a “long, tough road in Iraq“; a war everybody seems to say they oppose, yet many of those same folks can’t wait to vote for “The Sheriff”. “Bush III”? Are you kidding me? Wake UP, People.
Perhaps, it is the perception of the whole “dog and pony” show — “The Sheriff”, a former POW; eats nails for breakfast while his Democratic opponents pour the finest wines over their Cheerios with their little fingers floating delicately above the colored glass of the bottles?
Regardless; remember this much, my friends — these are ALL MULTI-MILLIONAIRES. And here we go again — electing MULTI-MILLIONAIRES to preside over our homes, our communities, our families, our finances and our workplaces.
