WHOA!! Hold UP!, Says “Barry”…
Nobody’s more sick and tired of defending the Clintons against bogus charges of racism than Barack Obama is — mostly behind closed doors until the last few hours — but now, here he comes, and he’s had enough of this “racism” crappola.
He’s been holding back and holding back for days now, hoping the African American leaders who’ve stepped up to rile the African American community into a frenzy over what Mr. Obama readily recognizes as misconstrued comments by both of the nation’s “First Black Co-Presidents” into believing the ridiculous notion that a former Governor of the Great State of Arkansas and his wife; a former Wal-Mart Director and Republican activist for the Barry Goldwater campaign could even host one, red drop of “rascist blood” within their bodies.
He’s had enough of this silly talk and he’s now stepping in to the rescue of his “Highly Esteemed First Former Black Co-President” opponent(s)…

Obama Damps Down Racial Controversy
ABC News’ David Wright, Andy Fies, and Sunlen Miller Report: Sen. Barack Obama told ABC News Monday there is nothing in Sen. Hillary Clinton’s record that would give him any cause for concern about her in terms of racial politics.
Asked how Obama interpreted two recent remarks by the Clintons that prompted an angry reaction from some in the Black community, Obama sought to damp down the racial dynamics of the controversy.
Many African Americans were offended when Hillary Clinton told an interviewer in New Hampshire, “Martin Luther King’s dream became a reality when Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964.”
Some say she seemed to suggest that it took a white politician to fulfill a black man’s dream.
“I don’t think it was in any way a racial comment,” Obama told ABC News. “That’s something that has played out in the press. That’s not my view.”
But, he said, the comment was revealing about her political character. …”

That’s right — the man doesn’t want to win THIS way. He wants to win the RIGHT way. In NO WAY would Mr. Obama, who, before THIS controversy, was deemed an anti-African American racist himself when many in the black community with darker skin than his own questioned his OWN “blackness”, stoop to such lows just to punch his ticket to the White House. On the other hand, the Clintons, to their credit, have always been the very first to step up to the plate to shun any references to their (co) presidency as being the “First Black” one, too. Or, on second thought, maybe I’m getting them confused with some other folks?
In closing, I must tip my hat to both the Clintons and Barack Obama for leaving the “race thing” out of this presidential race. Diplomats; ALL of them. And Lord knows, we need a diplomat now more than ever before in the Oval Office.
