Election 2008 Stunner: Wyoming G.O.P Goes With Mitt Romney!

Romney Camp Celebrates HUGE SHOCKER In Wyoming…

Mitt Romney takes Wyoming GOP Delegates in a STUNNER...Most candidates in this 2008 rat race for the Oval Office spend their time travelling all over the country, pandering to every city in every state, knocking on doors, kissing babies, introducing themselves and exchanging ideas with the regular folk.

For all of their hard work and determination, only one of these great candidates (What a tough election year! Never before have I wanted all of the front-runners to share a co-presidency like I do this year. Goes to show you our Founding Fathers weren’t PERFECT after all…) will kick up their feet behind the Presidential desk for the follow four to eight years.

But, why Mitt? How did he win Wyoming’s GOP Delegates primary (or whatever you call it)? While I’m fairly certain Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Barack Obama, Mike Huckabee, John Edwards and Ron Paul were burning the “midnight oil” in the Great State Of Wyoming, the most amazing thing about this win for Mitt Romney is the fact he made JUST FOUR CAMPAIGN STOPS there — total. I’ll say it again — Mitt Romney won the GOP primary in the vast State of Wyoming after making JUST FOUR CAMPAIGN STOPS there.

You don’t believe me? Fine. Then Believe The New York Times:

Romney Wins Most Wyoming Delegates

CASPER, Wyo. — Mitt Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts who is locked in an intense primary battle in New Hampshire, captured the majority of Wyoming’s delegates to the Republican National Convention as the state’s Republicans met at county conventions. …”

(Snip!)

“… Mr. Romney has made four campaign stops in Wyoming. …” – [emphasis, mine]

This HAS to be a record — anyone? Has ANY presidential candidate ever won their party’s nomination in any particular state with only FOUR CAMPAIGN STOPS?

I didn’t think so.

Ummm.. You do know that that was just a Republican Primary right? Or why do you think NO Democrat has taken Wyoming yet?

This is HARDLY any kind of upset..

Wyoming has a large Morman population. Nough said.

    Wyoming is 90% non-Mormon.
He won 62% of the vote.

If you can do math — most of the people that voted for him are not Mormon.
