While Her Royal Highness, Queen Hillary Rodham Clinton I may (or may not?) be ALL FOR issuing drivers licenses to ILLEGAL ALIENS (screw that “immigrants” and “undocumented workers” crappola — my grandmother and grandfather were “IMMIGRANTS” — they came in through the FRONT DOOR), what I’ve been saying ALL ALONG here at The GTL has come to pass yet AGAIN.

Poll: 77% oppose illegals’ licenses

Voters oppose driver’s licenses for illegal aliens by a nearly five-to-one margin, a new Fox 5/Washington Times/Rasmussen Reports poll finds.

As immigration politics explode into the presidential race, polls show Americans are taking a hard line on benefits for illegal aliens, including opposing driver’s licenses and such taxpayer-funded benefits as scholarships at state colleges for illegal-alien students.

The new poll found 77 percent of the adults surveyed opposed making driver’s licenses available to illegal aliens, while just 16 percent supported the idea.

Licenses fared poorly across party lines, including near-blanket opposition among self-identified Republicans, at 88 percent. Among independents and Democrats, it was still overwhelmingly unpopular, drawing 75 percent and 68 percent opposition, respectively. …”

“… Most Democratic presidential candidates have embraced the policy, including front-runner Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, arguing it’s a matter of road safety and a valid response to the federal government’s failure to give a path to citizenship to illegal aliens. …” [emphasis, MINE]

Completely, 100% out of touch, these so-called “Democrats”. They scour the blogosphere, see that 90% of the so-called “left-leaning” blogs are in lock-step with the Congressional Democrats when it comes to the topic of handing the keys to our cities, our states and our federal government over to these so-called “undocumented workers” and DAMNED what their TRUE constituents think or say; KUDOS TO THE LEFT-WING BLOGOSPHERE. “These are our talking points for the day”, say the GUTLESS Democratic legislators as they hang on to every single word in favor of amnesty for illegals and damnation for those of us who resent it. If some dairist from the Daily Kos publishes it — there’s the Democratic talking point of the day, no matter how out of step with the rest of America that diarist may be.

ANYBODY who’d risk their Presidential bid by KOWTOWING to the far-left, or the far-right fringes of America deserves a tip-o-the-hat but NOT a single lever pull at the voting booths.

Rasmussen is now reporting a poll showing New Hampshire’s Democratic voters are dishing Her Royal Highness Her “just deserts” for the reasons stated in my piece. Let this be a lesson to Congressional and other Democrats who refuse to hear the UNITED, BI-PARTISAN, Will of The People — BOTH sides of the aisle:

Senator Hillary Clinton’s lead in the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire Primary has fallen to its lowest level of the season.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone poll of the state’s Likely Primary Voters shows Clinton leading Senator Barack Obama by ten percentage points, 34% to 24%. Former Senator John Edwards attracts 15% of the vote while New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson earns 8%. No other candidate tops the 3% level of support.

At 34%, Clinton’s current level of support is the lowest measured in any Rasmussen Reports poll this year. Four previous polls in New Hampshire found her consistently in the 37% to 40% range.

This is the first poll of the race conducted since Senator Hillary Clinton’s debate gaffe concerning drivers licenses for illegal immigrants. …”

A separate survey released yesterday found that Democrats nationwide hold similar views with 68% opposing the policy. …” [emphasis, MINE]

I freaking LOVE IT! It’s about TIME the Mainstream Media (“MSM”) has told the TRUTH about mainstream America and the overwhelming liberal rebellion against Public officials who would discriminatorily give PREFERENCE to illegal aliens from Mexico over educated migrant hopefuls from other nations. The MSM had originally reported these TRUTHS as exposed by the polls a few years ago and then dropped the ball as the doomass Democrats in the Halls of Congress adopted the SCAM to blow smoke in an attempt to PULL liberal America to THEIR “oh-so-educated” way of thinking — that being against illegal aliens equalled “racism”. Well, the ones who continue to attempt to “bamboozle” their Constituents and potential supporters with this ridiculous, anti-American, ANTI-(LEGAL)-IMMIGRANT nonsense are learning the hard way their IGNORANCE on the topic is going to make them pay DEARLY for their sins against America and we liberals who placed our trust in them to make America a better place to live for AMERICANS and LEGAL migrants to this great nation of ours.

Now it’s time to debate the SAVE Act and SEVERELY PUNISH the right-wing corporations who lure these people here despite our EXISTING LAWS on the books, which PROHIBIT such actions along with all of the Republican wackos in Congress and the White House who’ve broken their promises to the American People on this same topic again and again, year after year.

KUDOS to my fellow libs for finally joining me in breaking through the “smoke and mirrors” of the so-called “lefty blogosphere” and the MSM to expose the truth the HARD WAY.
