See, this is what dismays me: the conservatives amongst us want Larry Craig to hit the road because he’s a closeted gay man (and we can’t have that — it torques God off — it’s an “abomination” and all kinds of other ‘ungodly’ cliches apply), while the liberals amongst us want the conservatives amongst us to stop picking on the poor old closeted gay guy who was busted for, AND pleaded guilty of, soliciting gay sex in a public restroom in the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport where children are often present.

I’m dismayed because the Democrats and Republicans are finding this to be a great way to play a game of politics when a five year old boy could have been placed into the position of asking an uncomfortable dad to explain why a U.S. Senator and a law enforcement officer were playing “footsie” in their side-by-side bathroom stalls. Also, has ANYBODY considered the FACT that Larry Craig is now the ONLY member of the U.S. Senate who has the distinction of being a CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER?

Folks, this has NOTHING to do with “gayness”, and it has NOTHING to do with “innocence”; the guy stood before the judge and said “GUILTY, YOUR HONOR” — end of STORY. As for the “gayness” involved, it’s not even a part of the equation: I don’t give a damn if the whole damned Congress is gay as long as they start running this country in the manner our Forefathers intended them to run it. I’d be just as offended if there were a heterosexual man and a woman playing “footsies” beneath those men’s room stalls while “dear ole’ dad” has to explain THAT one to “little Bobby”. In other words, the topic at hand is DECENCY, and the expectation of we “pleebs” that our representatives in this Government will take that crappola behind closed doors and keep that sort of FILTH away from the young’ns.

This “Larry Craig” MORON gave a Press conference the other day, promising he’ll only be poisioning our society with his presence as a lawmaker until September 30th. Now, today, this PIG, energized by all of the liberals and/or Democrats who’ve come to his rescue; claiming him to be some sort of a “victim” of the anti-gay agenda, versus being the totally IMMORAL PERVERT he really is, in reality, is considering rescinding his offer to flake off and head off into the rainbow sunset where he belongs. “Pervert” because he’s gay? NOPE — doesn’t have a THING to do with it. “Pervert” because he hasn’t a lick of self-control or respect for the law, or civilization in general. “Pervert” ALSO, because of his two-faced opposition of all things “gay” as a lawmaker. I’m fed up with hipocritical politicians like this buffoon, and SO SHOULD YOU BE…

AP: Craig reconsiders decision to resign

BOISE, Idaho – Sen. Larry Craig is reconsidering his decision to resign after his arrest in a Minnesota airport sex sting and may still fight for his Senate seat, his spokesman said Tuesday evening.

“It’s not such a foregone conclusion anymore, that the only thing he could do was resign,” Sidney Smith, Craig’s spokesman in Idaho’s capital, told The Associated Press.

“We’re still preparing as if Senator Craig will resign Sept. 30, but the outcome of the legal case in Minnesota and the ethics investigation will have an impact on whether we’re able to stay in the fight — and stay in the Senate,” Smith said.

Craig, a Republican who has represented Idaho in Congress for 27 years, announced Saturday that he intends to resign from the Senate on Sept. 30. But since then, he’s hired a prominent lawyer to investigate the possibility of reversing his plea, his spokesman said.

Craig was a no-show Tuesday as Congress reconvened after a summer break and it wasn’t clear whether he’ll return at all since deciding to resign over his guilty plea in a sex sting this summer at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. …”

Utterly RIDICULOUS. And, again — it’s the Democrats coming to this guy’s rescue, when he should be registering as a sex offender in the private sector (i.e., McDonald’s) where he belongs for showing such poor judgement and lewdness where children are present. If that’s not enough (and if it’s not, go see a SHRINK IMMEDIATELY, please), whipping out his “bidness” card his “bidness” card to impress the arresting officer and pompously challenging him with that “Do you know who you’re messing with???” question should be the final nail in this sick bunghole’s political “coffin”.

What in the HELL is WRONG with you people anyway?
