Loading ...Pat Tillman was an American hero. He gave up a lucrative NFL contract to fight the “real enemy” in Afghanistan. It is no secret that he opposed to the invasion and occupation of Iraq and not a fan of the Bush/Cheney cabal as a result. That is why he is dead – killed at close range by “friendly fire”.
New Details on Tillman’s Death
Army medical examiners were suspicious about the close proximity of the three bullet holes in Pat Tillman’s forehead and tried without success to get authorities to investigate whether the former NFL player’s death amounted to a crime, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.“The medical evidence did not match up with the, with the scenario as described,” a doctor who examined Tillman’s body after he was killed on the battlefield in Afghanistan in 2004 told investigators.
The doctors – whose names were blacked out – said that the bullet holes were so close together that it appeared the Army Ranger was cut down by an M-16 fired from a mere 10 yards or so away.
Now fragging is not new. As a Vietnam era veteran I remember fragging but this is different. In Vietnam it was usually an incompetent lieutenant who was jeopardizing the troops who was fragged. It appears this was a case of a soldier who was questioning Der Leeder. It probably wouldn’t happen today. There are few Bush cultists left in the military.

When Pat Tillman disagreed with President Bush’s policies a little too vociferously, a little “friendly fire” just happened to come his way. Uncle Jimbo and his readers certainly wouldn’t be too upset if Beauchamp accidentally got fragged by one of his fellow soldiers. That would teach an important lesson to any other potential squealers out there. Not that Uncle Jimbo is suggesting that anyone murder Beauchamp. Of course not. But accidents do happen. Heh, indeed.

None of the reports I’ve read lead me to believe he was fragged. Close quarters, high anxiety, a 3 round burst at the wrong time …
I thought I read that he was hit in the head, at 30 yards that’s tough target to hit- you aim for the body.
