Short diary here to expand on a comment I made yesterday .http://www.dailykos.com/… Many citizens of kosland believe Bush should/must be impeached. One article of impeachment rarely mentioned is dereliction of duty. The head honcho never caught Osama, or even the anthrax killer, yet he erased most of the Bill of Rights along the way.

Not only should House Speaker Pelosi be impeached for being an enabler to “The Decider”, she should be impeached for attempting to ram [psst - "alleged"] ABSCAM crook Jack Murtha through as her right hand man in her first major act as House Speaker and she should be impeached for enabling the Dems to dump on the American People who elected them to Congress by entering into the “Big Oil And Nation Buildin’ Bidness” and suddenly going all “anti-labor” and “anti-environment” on us without a public outcry.

If this is the brand of “change” the Democrats were selling us, thank you very much, but I think I’d prefer a third party from now on. If the leadership in the Democratic Party is going to be standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the Republicans on such issues as free markets, Iraq, labor, big oil and the environment, what need is there for a Democratic Party anymore? While I applaud the Dems for FINALLY pulling their collective “head” out of their collective “rump” on the issue of The Right To Keep And Bear Arms, they should have stopped RIGHT THERE while they were ahead. But adopting the other traditionally, Republican positions which led to massive Republican DEFEATS is just a frigging SLAP IN THE FACE to the American People.

And I believe the time has come for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to step down from her leadership position in Congress. Let’s give somebody else a whirl – a REAL “liberal” – somebody like… well… HELL… I can’t think of any REAL “liberals” in Congress with REAL leadership potential off the top of my head…

And that’s NOT a “good thing“, folks.
